Bruno Tonioli Slammed for Sexist Charlotte McKinney Critique: What Did He Say?

SPOILER ALERT: Charlotte McKinney was sent home on Dancing with the Stars last night . But the model and partner Keo Motsepe only earned 22 total points for their Rumba, tied for lowest of the evening, making it difficult to argue with the results. However, viewers are finding it very easy to take issue with the criticism leveled at McKinney by Bruno Tonioli after her routine. Charlotte McKinney Dances with the Stars “You’re never going to win the Nobel Prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes and you produce wonderful shapes,” the judge told the Carl’s Jr. commercial star, prompting a rebuke from his fellow panelists and a strong response from Tom Bergeron. The host told Bruno that he’ll never win the Nobel Prize, either. But, still, the insulting damage had been done. Numerous fans took to Twitter after the comment was made in order to slam Tonioli for a clearly sexist remark. “#DWTS @BrunoTonioli you need to apologize to @Char_mck @keodancer. Women can be smart and beautiful! Shame on you,” wrote one user, while another added: “Oh @BrunoTonioli such an ill advised “quantum physics” comment. Why didn’t u really disrespect her & call her a dumb blond!Not nice.” We concur: not nice at all! Do you think Tonioli should apologize? Was he out of line? The Duchess of Cambridge has made it known to close friends that she could be having a baby girl, but why is she so sure? Kate Middleton’s due date for her second royal baby is next month. According to an old wives tale, if a woman has a penchant for sweet things during a pregnancy, it could indicate a baby girl. “Prince William has always had a sweet tooth, but Kate has really had sweet cravings during this pregnancy,” a source told the Mail on Sunday. “She could barely keep anything down in the first months of her pregnancy but recently she just cannot get enough of naughty treats.” It appears that the royal couple are both splurging out on some royal delights. They were spotted at The Humble Pie bakery, in North Norfolk and reports have emerged that they spent a staggering £13.30 on two cakes. “Kate has popped into the store on her own and with William,” reports a local. “She loves the cakes and says they are delicious.” The cakes in question are baked by someone named Diane. As royal observers know well, Kate suffered acute molecule sickness again at the start of her pregnancy, but has been healthy and active of late. What do you think? Bruce Jenner‘s transition to a woman is nearing completion, according to a bombshell new report claiming he has already undergone breast implant surgery. After a series of “smaller feminization procedures,” Radar claims that the former Olympic decathlon champion has successfully had breast implants put in. Not that you’re likely to see him walking around flaunting those things like Kim Kardashian , as the celebrity news site alleges he opted for a subtler look. “Bruce had silicone breast implants put in a few weeks ago,” an insider said. “He went with a smaller implant because he didn’t want to look ridiculous.” “Recovery hasn’t been that difficult, but Bruce has had to sleep in a recliner to help with the healing,” the source said, and that mostly means rest. “This is a very exciting but scary time for Bruce,” the insider went on. “But his sons Brandon and Brody have been taking care of him at his Malibu mansion.” “He’s not allowed to lift anything, and he has to wear a bra 24/7, but he’s expected to resume normal activities in the next six weeks. He has been emotional.” “Finally,” though, “he feels like this is the body he has meant to have.” In recent months, as Bruce Jenner sex change rumors have reached a fever pitch, he has had his Adam’s apple shaved down, and a nose job to boot. At least that’s what’s been reported. He has yet to confirm any of this. Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Episode 1 Recap: Rumer Has It

Monday night on ABC, Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Episode 1 kicked off the show’s 10th anniversary (they do two seasons per year) in terrific fashion. The premiere encapsulated so many of the things that have made the show a hit for that long, from the music to the celebrity stories to, yes, the dancing. No perfect 10s or even 9s were awarded on night one, but a couple of stars already shone brightly, while some others clearly have their work cut out. Let’s check out the Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Episode 1 performances … Rumer Willis & Val Chmerkovskiy – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy: The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, who were there with her sisters Tallulah and Scout, won the night. Her foxtrot drew glowing praise from the panel (and her famous family) and established her instantly as one of the stars to watch this coming season. Score: 32/40 Riker Lynch & Allison – Jive – Dancing With The Stars – Season 20 Week 1 Riker Lynch and Allison Holker: The Glee star, pop musician and cousin of Julianne and Derek Hough certainly looked the part … of all of those things. If you watch Dancing With the Stars online , you’ll see what we mean. He also performed well on merit, and could be sticking around for some time. Score: 31 Nastia Liukin & Derek Hough – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough: The five-time Olympic medalist in gymnastics performed a terrific foxtrot with the five-time champion of the ABC show. Already, these two are looking like one of the duos to beat, which we could have predicted at the onset, but they also have a target on their backs. Score: 30 . Robert Herjavec & Kym Johnson – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson: Shark Tank fans know Robert is one of the nicest, most engaging people on the planet, and he showed it here. He needs the money less than anyone else appearing on the show (or the planet), but he put forth as much charisma, effort and energy as anyone. Score: 28 . Chris Soules & Witney Carson – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Chris Soules and Witney Carson: Yes, The Bachelor winner traded Whitney Bischoff for another Witney. Let the cheating rumors commence immediately! As for the dancing? It could’ve been better – no way he’s winning this season, or even coming close – but it also could have been much, much worse. Score: 26 . Michael Sam & Peta Murgatroyd – Dancing With The Stars Season 20 Week 1 Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd: The first gay man drafted into the NFL is still trying to make his debut in the league, and his debut here was rocky too. The former college football all-star was slammed for his facial expressions and footwork alike, although he’s a competitor, so expect him to use it as fuel. Score: 26 . Noah Galloway & Sharna Burgess – Cha Cha – Dancing With The Stars – Season 20 Week 1 Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess: The inspirational, heroic, amputee Army vet instantly became a fan favorite when his introductory video aired. He also became a challenge for partner Sharna from the standpoint of a choreographer, who told him he plus play on the fact that he is a titan among men. Will he become a titan of dance as he broadens the scope (as Carrie Ann Inaba put it) of what dancing looks like? Only time will tell, but not bad. Score: 26 . Willow Shields & Mark Ballas – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Willow Shields and Mark Ballas: The Hunger Games actress, who at 14 years old is the youngest celebrity ever on the show, definitely looked the part. Still, she seemed to surpass the low bar that would be set for her and earned mostly praise from the judges despite mediocre scores in this opener. Score: 25 . Suzanne Somers & Tony Dovolani – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani: Defying the aging process is one thing, but keeping up with Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” proved to be another. Score: 25 . Patti LaBelle & Artem Chigvintsev – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev: At age 70, the music great more than held her own in the premiere and earned a standing ovation for her foxtrot. Score: 25 . Charlotte McKinney & Keo Motsepe – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe: If you’ve seen Charlotte McKinney Instagram photos , this was about as tough to watch as those pics are enjoyable. On the plus side, all of those steps she missed during her jive were noticed only by the judges, since viewers were likely enjoying her other attributes. Score: 22 . Redfoo & Emma Slater – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Redfoo and Emma Slater: For a man famous for the “Party Rock Anthem,” LMFAO rapper looked woefully out of place and awkward on the floor. “Well, Redfoo, you dance like your hair, a little wild and unkempt,” said Len Goodman, and it’s hard to argue with that point after one week at least. All those years hitting “The Carlton” on cue paid off… Alfonso Ribero Wins Season 19 Of Dancing With The Stars Via HollywoodLife : After the Nov. 24 show, Alfonso & Witney were at the top of the leaderboard with a perfect score of 80. Sadie & Mark got a 78 and Janel & Val got a 77. For the Nov. 25 finale, the three finalists had just 24 hours to create a brand new routine fusing two styles of dance together. Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson danced their final routine to a Cha Cha and Argentine Tango. “The amazing Alfonso. Always switched on, always turned on to the max. A real performer. You always give the audience what they want. You’re a legend,” Bruno screamed. Carrie Ann said: “Your love for dance just shines! You ARE a glitter ball!” Len said his dancing was “natural.” Julianne said it was “super tight, super clean. You would have thought that you had weeks to [practice] this dance.” They also got a 40! Then Alfonso said he would be going on tour for 7 weeks with the DWTS cast — we can’t wait! After 11 weeks of competition, Alfonso & Witney were named the winners! Nice! Congrats to Alfonso on the win.

Team Quack Attack is on its way to the Dancing With the Stars finals! Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson had never danced outside of her bedroom prior to joining the cast, but she and Mark Ballas have made it to the end of Season 19. The teenager still gets plenty of credit, though, and no one is more proud (albeit a little surprised) than her adoring parents, Willie and Korie Robertson. “I definitely got overwhelmed there,” Duck Dynasty star Willie says of watching 17-year-old Sadie take the floor on the ABC show. “There was a tear or two.” Korie is surprised that she’s even taking part, let alone so brilliantly, as she showcased once again Monday on the Dancing With the Stars semifinals . “When Sadie first asked me if she could do Dancing With the Stars , I was a little bit unsure, because it’s a little scary putting your daughter out there,” she admits. Conflicted, Korie handed the decision over to her husband. But Willie said, ‘Well, you know, you’re 17 years old, if that’s something you want to do, go for it.'” “I mean, my jaw dropped.” These days, the jaws dropping left and right can be found across the country, with audiences and judges alike in awe of Sadie’s consistently strong performances. Does she have what it takes to bring home the championship when she goes toe to toe with Alfonso Ribeiro , Janel Parrish and Bethany Mota in the finals? This is perhaps the most wide open and evenly matched final four in the series’ 19 seasons, so she’s got a shot for sure, though it will be tough for all of them. Who do you want to win?
