The Bachelor’s Sean Lowe says he’s in it to win it on Dancing With the Stars, and credits fiancee Catherine Giudici with keeping him in the groove. “I couldn’t ask for a better fiancee, because she’s understanding that I have to put it in a lot of hours here but she’s rooting for me,” he told E! News. “She’s in my corner. She’s going to be in the front row cheering me on.” Sean’s DWTS debut will be the first time she’s seen him dance, too. “I want it to be a big reveal ,” Lowe says of his performance tonight. “She keeps asking for me to show her clips on my iPhone and stuff, but I just want her to wait and for her jaw to drop and go, ‘Woah, where did Sean learn how to do that?!'” As for his routine, Sean promises there will be an “attention-grabber.” All we can hope is that DWTS continues The Bachelor’ s gratuitous displays of Sean Lowe shirtless, right ladies? Keep your fingers crossed. Crossed hard. While Sean is busy at rehearsals, Catherine Giudici has been hard at work planning their upcoming wedding … to the extent that ABC will let her, anyway. Catherine Giudici and Sean Lowe: Will it last? YES. You can tell. They are made for each other. Maybe … not convinced, but not writing them off. No chance. I don’t see the connection! View Poll »

Justin Bieber booed at a concert?!? Now we’ve heard everything. That’s what allegedly went down last night at London’s O2 Arena, according to multiple sources, as Justin was scheduled to take the stage at 8:30 p.m. Instead, he didn’t start his set until 10:30 p.m. Upon his arrival, Bieber heard anything but cat calls from this in attendance, as one summed up the evening on Twitter: “Lots of unhappy parents on a school night, but feel sorry for little kids crying because they missed half concert.” Bieber reportedly cut his set short due to time constraints, as well. This incident is the latest in what has been a tumultuous week for the singer. His 19th birthday was ruined when his entourage got into it with nightclub security and Olivia Wilde told Bieber to wear a shirt more often. But, hey, at least Bieber’s father got him a Bat Bike as a gift and at least Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke is around to make him feel better.
Lindsay Lohan may be the luckiest petty criminal ever. A new report indicates that she may reach a plea deal that gets her out of jail AND rehab. Lohan, as you may have heard, already shot down a plea deal in her lying-to-cops / probation violating case because the D.A. insisted on rehab. Not the smartest move when her trial – currently scheduled for March 18 – could result in jail time, but it looks like she’s angling for an even better deal . First of all, there is NO WAY she’s going to trial represented by incompetent lawyer Mark Heller, so a plea bargain is going to be struck one way or another. It’s just a matter of how good it is, which brings us to the latest update. According to celebrity news sources, Heller might not be as bad as we thought: “A plea deal could be reached without Lindsay being forced into [rehab].” “Since she wasn’t arrested or charged with crimes related to drugs or alcohol a plea deal requiring her to go to rehab isn’t the only way a resolution can be reached.” “There are other possibilities including the options of Lohan undergoing extensive counseling and lengthy community service,” the source added. “Talks between Mark Heller, and the City Attorney’s office are ongoing and both sides are hopeful a plea deal can be reached soon that is mutually agreeable.” One wouldn’t think her prospects looked good, given her track record and unwillingness to accept responsibility, coupled with Mark Heller’s stupidity. Never test the limits of Lindsay Lohan ‘s luck, though. If Lohan were to be convicted of lying to law enforcement, or violating her probation (for her necklace thievery), she could be sent to jail for up to 245 days. If a rehab-free plea deal is actually on the table , that sounds like a remote possibility at this point. She has two weeks to work it out before trial, too. What do you think? Will she go to jail? Yes. Her luck is running out and she’s going crazy! No! She always finds a way to get out of it! View Poll »
Kellie Pickler needs your prayers. The former American Idol finalist and upcoming Dancing with the Stars contestant has asked fans to keep Gregg Lohman in their thoughts, as the singer’s drummer was airlifted to a hospital Saturday following a four-car accident in Kentucky. “Gregg is not just my drummer, he is family,” Pickler wrote on Twitter and Facebook. “I believe in miracles and the power of prayer, so it would mean the world to me, my band, and Gregg’s family if you would please keep him in your prayers. Thank y’all so much.” The crash killed six people from the same family on Interstate 65, with another car not noticing that Lohman had slowed down in order to avoid the pile-up. According to CNN, that’s when the oncoming vehicle plowed into Lohman’s truck , forcing it to rear-end yet another car. Lohman has also performed with Lady Antebellum and SHeDAISY and is a percussion instructor at Tennessee State University. We will keep him in our thoughts.
Dancing with the Stars returns for its 16th season two weeks from tonight, taking over for another venerable, two-hour ABC reality show on Monday nights. After The Bachelor spoilers have been proven correct (or not), and the final rose recipient is scrutinized to high heaven … Sean Lowe will take to the parquet. He’ll join a Dancing With the Stars cast that has been called lackluster, but you never know who might surprise as they vie for the coveted Mirror Ball. “The sexy is back,” boasts the first promo for the season premiere, and while that may be wishful thinking, at least the marketing department is aiming high. Sarah Palin and Fox News have agreed to part ways. The former Vice Presidential nominee signed a three-year contract with the network in January 2010, reportedly for $1 million per year, and has offered up her analysis of current events ever since. Most recently, she blasted President Obama for winning Time Person of the Year and slammed his handling of the Fiscal Cliff situation. It was the one issue on which Palin and Obama disagreed. Just kidding. Executive Bill Shine says the network wishes Palin all the “best in her future endeavors,” but there were signs that tension grew over the years between the ex-politician and Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes. He was quoted by The Associated Press in 2011 as saying “I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got ratings.” Karl Rove, meanwhile, recently renewed his contract at Fox through the 2016 election. No word yet on what Palin will do next, but there’s little doubt that producers at Dancing with the Stars are burning up the Alaskan phone lines as we type.
Understandably, Jodie Foster’s Golden Globes speech sparked discussion raised a lot of questions Sunday night. Three main points she sought to clarify: She’s NOT retiring from acting, despite strong allusions to doing so. She is extremely close with Mel Gibson and is not ashamed of this. The “coming out” portion of her speech is what it is. In her wide-ranging speech, the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award winner, 50, acknowledged that she’s gay and seemed to hint at retirement. However, on the latter topic, she told reporters a different story later. “I could never stop acting. You’d have to drag me behind, like, a team of horses,” she said, noting that her broader point was “that people change.” “Change is important. You know, hopefully I’ll be doing different things than I did when I was three years old and six years old and ten years old and 20 years old.” “My work is evolving.” As for the more personal aspects of the speech, in which Foster mentioned her former partner and explained she “came out a million years ago” in private? “The speech kind of speaks for itself. It’s a long career, and not just a career; it’s friendships and relationships. I feel like I’m graduating from something,” she said. “It’s a big moment, and I wanted to say, you know, what’s most in my heart.” Jodie Foster Golden Globes Speech The mother Charlie and Kit, her children with Cydney Bernard, added that she wasn’t worried about regretting her Golden Globes speech the day after. “It’s an expression of who I am and what I’m thinking and feeling,” she said. Foster also raised eyebrows when she not only acknowledged close friend Mel Gibson , but said he “saved her,” in her speech – as Mel looked on tearfully. “I know Mel Gibson extremely well, and he’s somebody that I love and that I have worked with and that I respect, and it’s not difficult to say that,” she said. “You know, it’s very easy to say that. The man that I know is a true and loyal friend; he is considerate, loving,” she said of the controversial actor. As for her social commentary on celebrity and media culture – which manifested itself this summer when she defended Kristen Stewart – she added: “I think it’s important that when people are struggling, that you not run away from them if you love them. Kristen, I mean, I look at the room tonight.” “You know, Kristen Stewart and Claire Danes, Jennifer Lawrence, all these young women that I worked with who basically were child actors like I was.” “I feel in many ways very protective of them, because even though I think I have managed to get through the process relatively sanely, I had my scars.” “I hope to be in some ways a member of their family that’s protecting them.”
