Dancing with the Stars: Who’s eliminated?

It’s all done for another couple on Dancing with the Stars. Every couple gave their best move on Monday’s competition, but one couple must end their journey. Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa performed waltz. Their dance tells a story of a father returning home from a war to see his daughter, in which they earned 13 points. The couple received the lowest score among the other competitors. On Tuesday, the results show that it’s already over for the duo. Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa were eliminated. Tuesday’s result show of the Dancing with the Stars has sent another couple home. Everyone has been expecting Kate Gosselin to be sent home but instead it was the retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Gosselin got all the negative critics from her waltz dance in the tune of Lady Gaga Paparazzi . She got a score of 15 out of 30. From ABC’s site, Len Goodman lamented, “There was no passion, drama, intensity. It wasn’t very good, Kate. Sorry.” Carrie Ann Inaba noted that Gosselin’s performance was “odd” and “hard to watch.” “I don’t feel the emotion got to your face,” she added. “That was very strange.” “For once, you played the character — you had the look of the super b***h from hell!” But, Tonioli said, Gosselin looked like she was walking. “Next time,” he implored, “dance!”. However, she remained in the show and Buzz Aldrin was sent home with a score of 13. “I did this show for the fighter pilots out there, the military people and the elder geezers like me who would just like to see an elder come back week after week.” He added that he’s “interested also in having the public be thankful for the great successes that we had in the Apollo program and look forward to even greater successes in our future space program.” Adding Gosselin’s torment is that her ex-husband Jon with his lawyer are now planning to file full physical custody for their children because of her participation of the show. She can’t give their kids quality time according to Jon’s company. DWTS Beats Idol — Twice

Nielsen announced today that for the first time in either show’s history, Dancing With the Stars ‘ ratings last week vanquished those of both the Tuesday and Wednesday episodes of American Idol . It wasn’t especially close either: An estimated 23 million people watched DWTS a week ago, compared to a respective 21.8 million and 20.5 million viewers tuning into Idol . A rep for Nielsen attributed the aberration to “the Gosselin factor.” Hmm. Happy, Simon ? [ AP via Yahoo! ]

Jon Gosselin Calls Kate an Absentee Mom, Bashes Dancing with the Stars, Sues For Custody

Jon Gosselin is not a fan of his ex-wife, or Dancing with the Stars. He’s not just miffed about her horrible dancing either – dude wants custody of his kids. Saying that Dancing with the Stars is damaging his children thanks to the super bitch from hell joining the cast, Jon wants them under his control, ASAP. Plus money . The douchebag will be seeking primary custody as well as spousal support in court, says Jon’s new lawyer, former assistant U.S. Attorney Anthony F. List. Unmoved by the fact that she had a makeshift dance studio installed at home, he calls Kate “an absentee mom,” which he says is no surprise to anyone. Right. Because Jon is a model citizen and parent, by contrast. The brief truce between Jon and Kate is apparently over . List expects to use her casting on Dancing with the Stars (which she may be voted off tonight) as proof that Kate does not spend ” quality time with the eight kids.” The attorney also thinks Jon is getting hosed in the child support department, claiming “$20,000 a month is ridiculous.” Needless to say, he wants that changed. In addition to primary custody, List says he’s considering asking the judge to reverse the support obligation and make Kate pay Jon. That should go over well. Team Jon did not specify any specific figures, but it looks like he’s gearing up for a full assault. So much for the newly single Jon wishing Kate luck last month. Is Kate really an absentee mom for going on the show, or is Jon just angling for more leverage? Is it actually good that she’s on DWTS to support the kids financially? Most importantly: Who sucks more?

In this go-around, the judges declared a new scoring champion while assuring us that Buzz Aldrin is never going to beat Olympic figure-skaters in the elegance department. Because he’s a lazy jackass.

Dancing With the Stars: Evan and Anna Leading the Quickstep

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya began the night with a high energy quickstep. Evan has broken two of his toes but still the Olympic skater was able to deliver a great performance. They earned 25 points. Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough finished the evening with a lively quickstep. Unfortunately, the duo has broken two rules. They had incorporated lifting and rope hold in their dance. They earned 23 points. Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy hit the dance floor with a dramatic waltz, while Andrews put on a blindfold for the majority of the performance. They earned 23 points. Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower show-off a lively quickstep to “Walk Like an Egyptian”. They earned 21 points. Niecey Nash and Louis Van Amstel brought the most touching performance of the evening. Their dance delivers the story of a couple in love in the 60’s who cannot be together because society wouldn’t accept it. They gained a standing ovation and earned 21 points. Pam Anderson and Damien Whitewood have proven themselves again with their paso doble. They earned 21 points. Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke also brought the cheer back with their paso doble. Their dance tells the story of a matador who’s trying to seduce a woman, who doesn’t have any interest on him. They earned 20 points. Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska earned 20 points in their quickstep. Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani danced a paso doble routine in Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi”. They even worked with an acting coach to help Kate communicate her emotions with her expressions and movement. They earned 15 points. Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa performed waltz.
