Kate Gosselin electrified the Dancing with the Stars crowd last night. Okay, not really. She sucked and still got the lowest score. But she sucked a lot less than previous weeks, and that’s building up her confidence. “Dancing is starting to feel natural; that’s scary, right?” Kate told E! last night after her Dancing With the Stars “mini-breakthrough” of a tango. Does Tony Dovolani agree about the bane of his existence his partner? Believe it or not, yes: “She crossed over to the dancing side,” he said. “It sounds like the dark side,” she joked. No doubt Jon Gosselin would have a witty retort if he weren’t chasing mediocre skirts somewhere. It’s not saying much, but last night was Kate’s best effort yet. “I was totally in the dance,” Kate added . “This was the first week I had fun out there. I was with Tony the entire time. Who had time to be nervous? I was dancing!” Will the fans keep her around for another week? If they did so the previous two, you’d have to think she stands a good chance this time. She sure hopes so, too. “I am psyched, we’re going to practice after this,” she said following her interview earlier today. “I’m totally into this and using my time wisely,” she promised. I am tired of Pamela Anderson, but probably not as tired as Pamela Anderson is of being Pamela Anderson. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it’s probably a lot of pressure trying to be sexy, when knowing you’re nothing but an old hag, but you do it because you think it’s expected out of you, cuz that’s the person you created. You know wearing sheer dresses as your plastic surgery you got when plastic surgery was in its infancy melts off your face, and your liver struggles to filter your blood because you let dirty rockstar dick inside you and now it’s gonna lead to your premature death, if your heart doesn’t give out from all cocaine you are on because it is the only thing that makes you feel good about yourself, cuz you know you’re done, and Dancing with the Stars is your last Waltz under the spotlight before you are forgotten, at least that’s what you look like….maybe it’s time for another sex tape…one we watch to laugh at instead of watch to jerk off to like we did back in the 90s….maybe that’ll only come when other shitty reality shows for failed stars reject her…Only time will tell… Pics via PacificCoastNews

Even for the cast members of Glee , who are coasting through an Emmy award-winning freshman year, last week’s appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show was special. But for Harry Shum, Jr., who plays Mike Chang, the episode was his introduction to America via Matthew Morrison, who when summoned to show off his dancing abilities, turned the attention onto 25-year-old co-star: “This guy is incredible, and I’m so happy there is a show called Glee that can showcase the talents of someone who just breathes dance.” For those who were unfamiliar until last week, Shum, Jr. starred in the iconic iPod “silhouette” campaign, appeared in two Step Up movies and co-choreographed a number during this year’s Academy Awards. ‘Gossip Girl’ scheduling conflicts are reportedly to blame. By Jocelyn Vena Chace Crawford Photo: John Shearer/WireImage After replacing Zac Efron in the “Footloose” remake , Chace Crawford has announced he will no longer be filling Kevin Bacon’s dancing shoes. His rep confirmed that the “Gossip Girl” star has decided not to move forward with the project. According to Entertainment Weekly, the studio may now go on a nationwide hunt for an unknown to play the part. Sources say Crawford’s “Gossip Girl” schedule got in the way of the movie’s shooting schedule. The show is scheduled to start production for its next season this July, just when Paramount had wanted to start filming the movie. While the film still lacks a leading man, “Dancing With the Stars” pro Julianne Hough is still expected to play the film’s female lead, which was played by Lori Singer in the original flick. Leading men issues haven’t been the shakeups plaguing the film. “High School Musical” director Kenny Ortega was set to helm the musical, but dropped out last year. There have been screenplay problems too: A version penned by Susannah Grant, who wrote “Erin Brockovich,” was later replaced by one written by “Hustle & Flow” director Craig Brewer. EW reports that the studio would also like Brewer to direct, but previous commitments may make that impossible. Initially, Crawford seemed excited by the prospect of starring in “Footloose,” telling MTV News last year that he hoped he had the skills to pay the bills. “I hope so, right? I got the part,” Crawford said. “I hope they know I can dance. I don’t know. It’s a fun script, and actually stepping out of my shell and doing the dancing thing is probably the most exciting part.” Who do you think should star in the “Footloose” remake?
