Gemma Arterton and Stefano Catelli: Married!

Sorry, guys worldwide. Gemma Arterton is now a married woman. The Prince of Persia star swapped vows with Italian love Stefano Catelli in a picturesque hilltop ceremony in the Spanish village of Zuheros, Britain’s Daily Mail says. Catelli proposed last summer and they made it official Sunday. The 24-year-old said she knew he was the one immediately, writing in her journal the night after they met that she had met the man she was going to marry. Gemma Arterton is now Mrs. Stefano Catelli! “I gave that diary entry to him for his birthday two weeks later,” Arterton, who also got Daniel Craig hot and bothered in Quantum of Solace , told InStyle . “But it didn’t freak him out, because he was thinking the same thing. I just really want to spend the rest of my life with him. He’s an amazing man.” Amazingly lucky, too. Congratulations to the newlyweds – and scroll through some Gemma Arterton pictures for good measure. They’re pretty nice.

Is Avatar Star Sam Worthington Going To Be The Next James Bond?

The lead actor of Avatar, Sam Worthington, has been tipped to be the next 007 in the heat of the news that the 23rd Bond film has placed on indefinite hold. Worthington was tested for the James Bond role prior to Daniel Craig’s casting. The bookmaker William Hill has made the 33-year-old 5/2 favorite to take over the role if Daniel Craig will not return for his third installment in the series. However, Craig is expected to return as Bond for another film. The continued uncertainty regarding the future of the MGM studio had prompted Bond producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli to announce that work on the unwrapped film would halt. The making of untitled 23rd James Bond movie was stopped due to uncertainty over the future of the MGM studio as told by producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli had a lot of goodwill and momentum coming out of the 2006 franchise reboot Casino Royale ; since then, however, there’s been nothing but trouble. Roger Michell was originally in negotiations to direct Quantum of Solace , then dropped out (Marc Forster eventually replaced him), while writer Paul Haggis rushed to finish his script before the WGA strike. The resulting film was coolly received. Now, the make-or-break follow-up has run into an even bigger obstacle.

Rachel Weisz: Bond role would be a Dream

Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz has revealed that she would love to land a role in the next Bond movie, according to reports. Weisz, 40, who is currently filming new movie Dream House opposite Bond actor Daniel Craig , said she would definitely like to be a Bond girl in the next flick, Bond 23 . “I’ve been filming with Daniel in Toronto. We’ve been getting on really well and yet I still haven’t had an offer to be a Bond girl – but if he asks me, I’d definitely do it.” Weisz recently won the Best Actress gong at the recent Olivier awards in London and we think she’d be a very sexy Bond girl.

Susan Boyle Tipped For Bond

Susan Boyle is reportedly being tipped to sing the theme tune for the next Bond movie. The 48-year-old Scottish star found fame on the UK talent show Britain’s Got Talen and her voice has been compared to Dame Shirley Bassey, who sang three Bond tracks. Bond composer Monty Norman said that Susan is ‘great’ and added: “They’ll think seriously because she’s got the right kind of sweeping voice.” The 23rd James Bond movie is due out in 2011 and will see Daniel Craig reprise the role of the world’s most-famous spy for the third time
