6 Snapshots of the Superheroes Who Stormed City Hall

They did it, everyone! Or, they did something. As promised , a motley crew of Hollywood Blvd superheroes stormed City Hall in Los Angeles yesterday, including Superman, Darth Vader, the Hulk, and the White Power Ranger (still don’t get that one). Will their efforts keep future Batmen out of jail for setting up illegal tourist traps ? Who knows, but at least our costumed crusaders got some press, and that may be the greatest victory of all.

Feudal Japanese Star Wars Art

Artist Steve Bialik represents legendary Star Wars characters as samurai from traditional Japanese art. Darth Vader and Jabba The Hutt are a lot less scary when they are illustrated as a bald dude in a mask and a giant bullfrog. The Best Links: From Stevapalooza! Via DBSW View

Laughin’ with Lando

According to horrifying new reports, Lucasfilm Animation is teaming with Seth Green and Matthew Senreich (of Robot Chicken ) for a Star Wars comedy series . Thrilling, of course. Hopefully the Luke/Leia incest will be reimagined as a Marx brothers mistaken identity routine, and Darth Vader will be voiced by a slightly more somber Gilbert Gottfried. Then again, the Star Wars franchise is no stranger to terrible TV comedy … [ THR ]
