Another eviction rocked the house on Thursday, and for the first time in a good few years, all the drama came in the lead up to the eviction. We picked up right after the veto meeting, and Bayleigh was furious that she had been wrongfully outed as the hacker. She made her way into the bedroom to start packing her belongings, presumably because she knew there was a bigger plan in play, and that she was going to be taken out of the game. After that, she confronted Tyler and said that she trusted him and now she’s on the block. Tyler wanted to steer clear of her, however. Bayleigh was blindsided. She opened up about wanting to keep her power for another week out of respect for Angela. She liked her as a person but felt like she stuck the knife in at the first opportunity. Haleigh then felt bad about being the hacker and opened up to Bayleigh about it. Bayleigh was mad, but she respected Haleigh for trying to make a move to take out a bigger target. Meanwhile, Angela was in the diary room acting like she was the best at the game because she managed to get Bayleigh up on the block. She even went as far as claiming that she would jump under a bus for Tyler. Yes, that’s how sad her game has become of late. At the house meeting, Haleigh confirmed she was the person who hacked the game and opened up about Tyler meeting with Bayleigh about getting Angela put up as the replacement nominee. Tyler denied it, but the argument went nuclear with Tyler and Bay getting into a heated exchange that found Bay leaving the room with a burst lip. No, we’re not saying anybody lifted their hands. Bay was shouting so much that she burst her gum with her teeth. At the eviction, the hacker took Tyler’s ability to vote away. Maci Bookout held little back as a guest this week on Kailyn Lowry’s “Coffee Convos” podcast. First, as previously detailed, Maci spoke out for the first time since ex Ryan Edwards got arrested for approximately the 174th time. From there, Bookout delved into the most pressing topic facing Teen Mom OG viewers at the moment… … the addition of Bristol Palin to this franchise. In mid-July, this daughter of an ignorant, close-minded and controversial former Vice Presidential candidate confirmed that she was headed to MTV , claiming she was joining the series in order to serve as a role model. Asked about Palin as a co-star, Maci at first took a shot at former co-star Farrah Abraham , who was dismissed from Teen Mom this past winter due to her penchant for appearing in amateur porn videos. “I really feel like I’m not gonna be mad about anybody joining because anybody’s better than Farrah,” Maci told Kailyn on the podcast. Not many folks out there will disagree with this opinion. It wasn’t exactly Maci’s most scorching take of all-time. Bookout went on to tell Lowry and cohost Lindsie Chrisley that she doesn’t “really care if other people join the cast,” nor does she blame Bristol for doing so. She simply would have appreciated any kind of heads-up prior to MTV announcing the decision. “I think me and Catelynn [Lowell] and Amber [Portwood] are all pretty much on the same page,” Bookout explained, adding: “If they bring in new cast members, we don’t want it to be called Teen Mom OG because that’s not true if there’s new cast members. “We don’t really care who joins because in our minds, we’re like, if somebody is presented with the opportunity, or like, say, one of us was never on the show and they asked us, no one’s going to turn the opportunity down. “You can’t be mad at somebody for accepting an opportunity.” This is a reasonable point of view. Of course, Palin is reportedly making $250,000 for one season of filming, which may be cause for tension between her and her new colleagues. This huge salary could be considered disrespectful to those who have been part of the cast for years. Bookout says she would have appreciated a “courtesy call” from producers, but didn’t sound all that peeved about Palin: “That’s my problem. Like, hey, they know when it’s going to come out. They know when the official release is coming out so, like, an hour before, call. Give us a call and be like, ‘Hey, by the way, this is who your new cast member is going to be. it’s being released today. … We’ve been doing this for 10 years!” In her own statement since the news went viral, Bristol said the following about her upcoming role on Teen Mom OG: I am excited to join MTV’s ‘Teen Mom OG.’ I look forward to sharing my experiences and hope that I can help others on their journey. Elsewhere, Lowry also asked Bookout about the reports that The Challenge’s Cheyenne Floyd and Corey Wharton are joining the cast. But the long-time reality TV personality did not confirm or deny the casting rumor. Or seem to care much. “I think because Bristol Palin has such a … I mean, her mom ran for vice president, so I think it’s just a bit of a bigger deal than fellow MTV stars coming on,” she said. Teen Shoved Off Bridge By Friend, Suffers Serious Injuries With friends like these who needs enemies? 16-year-old Jordan Holgerson was treated for five cracked ribs, a bruised esophagus, injuries to her trachea, and air trapped in the lining of her lungs after being pushed from a bridge in Washington state. In a 10-second clip that has since gone viral , the teenager hesitates to jump into the Lewis River, at which point a “friend” shoves her. The incident is reportedly being investigated by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, according to the NY Post . Holgerson’s mother told KATU that her daughter “is lucky she is not paralyzed or dead. They calm down a bit and A1 asks him about what happened with Lyrica again, and Safaree gives a stupid, “It is what it is” answer. He also antagonizes A1, telling him that he’s going to text Lyrica and tell her how he’s acting, then he clowns A1’s sparkly shoes. Y’all know A1 has a flamboyant sense of style so that’s always an easy target for everyone. They stay coming for your boy’s pearls too. Anyway, this drama isn’t over but the friendship is definitely a wrap. Meanwhile, Lyrica has been staying with her mother, who plans to ride for her daughter. Fast forward a bit. Now we’re at some Ray J business event on the heels of Safaree’s Eggplant Scandal. You remember when those photos leaked. Now we’re witnessing their reactions in real time. This doesn’t help given the current climate of friendship between A1, Safaree and Ray J with the latter feeling like he’s stuck in the middle. Brooke Valentine is feeling bad for telling Marcus that bit of gossip, especially since Lyrica kept all her tea to herself. She tells Bridget how Lyrica told her that Safaree’s thang wrapped around his leg. This was before Safaree’s pics leaked. Basically, she puts some base in her voice, which rubs Mama A1 the wrong way because Mama A1 don’t like Big Lyrica either. But then out of nowhere (or due to editing), A1’s mom throws some cornbread she was preparing and acting like a wild banshee, and all hell breaks loose. Some of that food hits A1 so he’s irritated. Then the moms start trying to throw hands and A1 kicks both of them out. That’s when A1’s mom gets super pissed and tells him that he went Hollywood ever since he met Lyrica anyway and that he think she’s better than she and his big brother. Then she says that Lyrica and her mom her Illuminati It’s a mess. This obviously isn’t a productive situation. via GIPHY Now we find Apple in the studio with Roccstar and it’s just what we suspected. Roccstar is actually trying to steal Apple away from A1 as a way to antagonize him. Like, he wants her to just work with him, and he’s talking crazy trash about how A1 can’t help her, but Apple is hip to game (you know Strippers be knowing). She’s says that now she doesn’t trust Roccstar because how can you trust someone who acts like this. Even Roccstar agrees that he ain’t ish for this. So, Apple refuses to be a pawn and decides to take it on back to A1 and sort everything out. No hit producer that’s really about business would be trying to poach unknown talent. Apple is smart. Be like Apple. Lyrica G continues her lunatic tour by attempting to confront K Michelle at her show. This is a show that Lyrica was actually supposed to open for but got kicked off. Y’all remember that. So, there’s that and then the fact that K Michelle sparked the Safaree drama. Lyrica G is literally outside K Michelle’s dressing room yelling and screaming for K Michelle to come out. Security won’t let her in. Paris, K Michelle’s former assistant, tries to talk sense into Lyrica G. That doesn’t work either but Lyrica G finally gets a clue and leaves. Then more drama comes in to play because Ray is also backstage with K Michelle. Moniece comes through to see K. Michelle and Ray J confronts Moniece about trying to throw a chair at his pregnant wife and for starting the rumor that Brandy was Ray and Princess’ surrogate. Moniece doesn’t care that they feel some type of way and tells Ray to tell Princess to stay out of her way. But Princess can’t wait until she’s clear again to deliver some fade. via GIPHY A1 feels bad about the drama with his mom so he meets up with her for dinner, and it just so happens that his big brother is in town too so of course he’s there. The brother tells him he has some explaining to do for disrespecting their mother. Then they give him the talk about how he changed, and how how Lyrica is a problem and he should consider divorcing her. All that jazz and A1 doesn’t take kindly to this. The convo between A1 and his brother gets really tense and they actually almost fight. It’s like they’re not even related. Security comes through as usual but this situation is sad. Finally, Ray J meets up with Safaree to get to the bottom of the situation with Lyrica because he doesn’t like being in the middle of his friends’ beef. Safaree maintains that he didn’t do anything but then says that he and Lyrica were having a conversation and that he “accidentally” sent her a picture of his meat. Accidentally? via GIPHY Then Ray J pulls a genius move but also one of the oldest tricks in the book for extracting information. He lies to Safaree and says that A1 and Lyrica got back together because Lyrica admitted that it happened. Safaree is there looking like: via GIPHY And that’s how the episode ends. Now we’re getting really annoyed because that’s still not really confirmation whether they had sex or not. What does it mean, huh? They probably didn’t have sex and it could just be the picture incident, though. You know how they like to milk storylines to death. In the weeks since, the happy couple has been doting on their daughter and gushing about little Felicity every chance they get. A little backstory is required in order to fully understand why Jeremy’s seemingly innocent tweet from Monday night is being widely interpreted as anti-Dillard shade. As you probably know, Derick was fired from Counting On after unapologetically sharing his bigoted views with the world on Twitter. And it’s not just his former bosses who have taken issue with D-Dill’s big mouth. There have been rumors that several members of the extended Duggar clan want nothing to do with Derick. And reports of a feud between Vuolo and Dillard have been especially common in recent weeks. “Jinger and I are so grateful to TLC for giving us the opportunity to share our lives with all of you!” Jeremy wrote on Twitter before Monday’s Counting On season premiere. “Tune in this Monday night — July 30th, 9/8C — for the new season of #CountingOn.” Sounds innocent enough, but it’s not hard to see why many Duggar-watchers took the remark as an extremely subtle jab at Derick. “Some Dillard shade,” wrote one fan. Another echoed the sentiment with a reluctant shoutout to Jeremy: “He’s good at throwing shade in a fundie acceptable way,” the viewer commented. “I don’t like him, but damn if it ain’t entertaining.” Dillard has made his distaste for his former home network abundantly clear in the months since he was unceremoniously kicked to the curb. He was fired for attacking fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings , and he’s since accused network execs of espousing values that run counter to everything the Duggars stand for.
