Michelle Obama Says Malia Didn’t Manage To Follow Her Advice We’re sure every parent worries at least a bit that their kid will go into full wild-out mode as soon as they drop them off on a college campus to further their education. Things were not much different for the First Family last fall when their eldest daughter Malia ventured off to Harvard. Michelle Obama imparted some advice for Malia to keep it together in her new grown-ish world…but it looks like it may have fallen on deaf ears. According to Page Six , the former first lady revealed at Klick Health’s Muse event that she specifically told her daughter to keep a low profile and stay off the gossip page’s radar. Unfortunately…Malia couldn’t make it happen: “[I told her] Don’t wind up on Page Six. I don’t know if she managed that.” Of course, you can’t COMPLETELY fault Malia on this one. 90 Day Fiance star David Toborowsky married Annie, even though she’s twice his age and his … well, he didn’t exactly win over a lot of viewers. But while David is dismissed as a “deadbeat” by his daughter , it looks like he has a better relationship with his son, Jacob, who is 18 years old. Jacob Toborowsky is currently recovering from a gunshot wound to the face, and David is thanking fans for their prayers as his son struggles with recovery and complications. Guns are scary, folks. David took to Facebook a few weeks ago to share the unfortunate news with his followers: “On behalf of my family we wanted to thank each and everyone of you for the thoughts and prayers that have been sent and said for Jacob Toborowsky.” Jacob is, of course, his son. He spelled out his name so awkwardly so that he could tag him in it. The shooting, which is said to have been accidental but is nonetheless serious, took place on January 28th. “He was shot in the face by a so called friend in a senseless stupid act. We will continue to monitor the situation on a legal front to ensure that justice prevails.” We have an update on that, as well. His son is alive, but undergoing medical treatment. Because he was shot. In the face. “Jacob went to Texas today to continue his recovery and possible surgeries. I will update as I can.” He thanks everyone for their support, prayers, and well wishes. “Again, we thank you from the bottom of our heart for the prayers and ask for continued prayers as he has a long road ahead of him.” And, of course, there are updates. “I wanted to give an update on my son Jacob,” David writes in a separate post. “He had surgery yesterday down in Houston. The damage to the muscles in his face are more severe than 1st thought.” Complications can be absolutely brutal. “The main part of the bullet was removed.” This was not a Dick Cheney situation — the gunshot came from a handgun. “Please keep him in your prayers as the road he has is going to be long and hard. Thank you all again for the prayers, messages and thoughts.” And, in case anyone was worried about the photos of Jacob that David posted, David went ahead and posted a disclaimer. “I am posting these pics with his permission.” Jacob’s mother, David’s ex, has also spoken up: “He has to have surgery tomorrow to have a drain put in.” A very necessary drain. “He is accumulating fluid in the wound from the gland that was impacted from the bullet.” And until the fluid build-up can be addressed, Jacob won’t be able to recover. “His wound cannot heal with all the drainage.” But his recovery will take more than healing some tissue, unfortunately. “Then OT and speech therapy will begin as well. He will have to put bite blocks in his mouth to start trying to get it open.” OT means occupational therapy. There’s much more to recovery than waiting for the swelling to go down, folks. “I think I am still in shock from all of this.” Speaking to RadarOnline , David Toborowsky gives further details on Jacob’s condition . “Jacob had his surgery on Thursday to remove the bullet.” That, of course, is only a small piece of the surgical puzzle. “A significant amount of tissue was damaged. He will never be able to fully open his mouth all the way.” Heartbreaking. “A lot of scar tissue had to be cleaned to remove the bullet. There is a lot of deep-tissue scarring.” He shares what his ex had also revealed. “He’s going back into surgery on Tuesday. They need to put a drain in for the gland to heal. He was in a lot of pain this weekend. It’s worse than we thought.” David has also shared what’s happening in Kentucky, on the legal end of things. “The Commonwealth of Kentucky charged the other kid with 1st degree assault and will go before the grand jury next month.” Accidental or not, a teenager should know better than to, you know, shoot their friend in the face. It’s easy — the vast majority of people spend their entire teen years not shooting people. Real actions should have real consequences, right? Jacob is certainly facing consequences for the gunshot. At last, Chicago West is here. Really, legitimately, 100% clearly here. Picture style! In mid-January, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child via surrogacy. Due to health problems that complicated her first two pregnancies, Kim was advised by doctors not to even try to give birth to another boy or a girl. As a result, she and her husband hired a woman to carry their child to term. We didn’t get a look at the baby girl they named Chicago (for real; they named the baby girl Chicago ) until Kylie Jenner released a video of her pregnancy journey shortly after she became a mother. Mixed in with many scenes and snapshots of her and her family, Kylie included two glimpses at Chicago West . You can click on the above link to view them for yourself. Now, however, Kardashian herself has presented the world with its very first, official straight-on and straight-up precious picture of baby number-three… … and here it is! In the adorable image, the 37-year old reality TV star is donning a white robe as she cradles her daughter, who is also dressed in white. They’re each rocking teddy bear ears and noses, thanks to a filter on Snapchat. “Baby Chicago,” Kim simply captioned the photograph. That does say it all, doesn’t it? To Kim and Kanye’s credit (kredit?), neither superstar has said much about little Chicago since she came into their world. For all the criticism you can justifiably hurl their way, you can’t really say the couple ever flaunt its kids in public or exploits them in any way. Just think: how much have you really seen of North and Saint over the years? The only problem for Kimye with this admirable strategy of keeping their offspring out of the spotlight and away from the press… is that this same press is going to generate its own headlines for the sake of clicks and pageviews. It’s a shame that’s how the world works, but that is how a lot of the world works. For example: there’s already been talk that Kim is neglecting Chicago . And also talk that Kim doesn’t ever want Chicago to know that she was born via surrogate . Over the weekend, meanwhile, the former sex tape star offered an update on her daughter to a commenter on Twitter. According to TMZ reports Bill Cosby’s 44-year-old daughter Ensa died Friday night in Massachusetts. Ensa’s cause of death is unknown, but TMZ reports that their sources say she’s had serious medical issues in the past and may have been in line for a transplant due to kidney issues. Ensa was a staunch supporter of her dad in recent years as he faced numerous sexual assault allegations.
Ensa Cosby, the daughter of actor/comedian, Bill Cosby, was found dead in her Massachusetts home on Friday evening, multiple outlets have now confirmed. She was 44 years old. The cause of death is unknown at this time. However, TMZ reports that Ensa (who worked as a Yoga instructor) suffered from a number of health issues, including a very serious kidney problem. It is believed she was on the list for a transplant at the time of her passing. Ensa made news last year when she issued a lengthy statement in support of her father, who has been accused of drugging and assaulting over 60 women . The comedian’s rape trial ended in a mistrial last summer and the date for a new one has not yet been announced. Cosby and all members of his family have maintained the star’s innocence ever since the first allegation came to light. Ensa made her voice known in May of 2017, ahead of one of the Cosby Show alum’s court appearances. This is what she wrote about her dad and the charges against him: I am a very private person and have chosen to live my life quietly with my family. But for my child, my niece, my nephew, and my father, I cannot sit quietly anymore. The accusations against my father have been one-sided from the beginning. When he tried to defend himself, he was sued in civil court. I’ve seen the accusations become more horrific and extreme with time, and I’ve witnessed my father’s reputation and legendary works be dismissed without any proof. The statement continued as follows: I strongly believe my father is innocent of the crimes alleged against him, and I believe that racism has played a big role in all aspects of this scandal… My father has been publicly lynched in the media. My family, my young daughter, my young niece and nephew have had to stand helplessly by and watch the double standards of pretending to protect the rights of some. But ignoring the rights of others and exposing innocent children to such appalling accusations about someone they love dearly and who has been so loving and kind to them is beyond cruel .
