US Weekly got the exclusive on this one: Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o has been dating GQ Style fashion editor Mobolaji Dawodu “for six months,” a Dawodu pal reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. The Kenyan-raised actress, 33, and the tastemaker — his website says he’s “informed the visual language of cosmopolitan life and style for more than a decade” — were introduced through mutual friends in the fashion world, adds the friend. Nyong’o and Dawodu, who has a young daughter, are clearly on the same fashion page. In a June 12 Instagram he shared with his nearly 6,000 Instagram followers, they posed in coordinated denim and orange-hued outfits. Since becoming Instagram official, Dawodu, formerly an editor at Fader magazine, Details and Style.com, has let pals in on his relationship. Says the friend, “He’s discreetly told people they are dating.” Ironically Mobolaji styled Jared Leto for his last GQ cover story… He’s also the brilliant guy behind that beautiful Marley spread we featured a few weeks ago. Inside the issue, Tika talks playing the FLOTUS , and doing her best to bring positive images of Black women to the screen. The actress also opened up on why she decided to remain mum on her baby news until it was just unavoidable to share… Via RollingOut : Sumpter loves the fans and she’s very giving but she definitely believes in saving a lot for herself. “I’m really selfish with my life,” she declares with no guilt. “You want to share some aspects of your life. But, for me, I can’t give everything because then I have nothing to come home to and to have for myself and my family. And I need to store up on that love and all that stuff, in order to create, in order to act. “Sometimes when you let everybody in your business, I think it makes relationships harder than they need to be,” she continues. “Relationships are already tough. Raising kids is already tough. And then having somebody say something crazy or spread a rumor or say something that’s not nice and hurts your spirit — that I can’t deal with. And that’s why I’m very protective of my peace. I’m protective of my private life. Even getting pregnant, people are just now finding out, but it’s something that I wanted to keep for me and enjoy it for a while. And then I was like, ‘OK, cool here you go’ and I couldn’t hide it anymore,” she laughs, adding a little more levity to her tone. Motherhood, she knows, is serious business, especially raising a young lady. As she prepares for it and the responsibility of living a life for something much greater than herself, she ponders the images her daughter will see and the example she, herself, will set for her. “I just want her to see images of strength out there and of women who are doing something with themselves. I want to be able to dictate something about the images that my daughter will see and also [for her to] look up to me as a great mom and a great woman that she would want to one day hopefully be like,” she reveals. Blac Chyna Says She’s Kool With Kylie Playing Step-Mommy To Baby King We recently reported that Blac Chyna posted a playful video of her son having fun with his new stepfather, Rob Kardashian . Despite her mother’s best efforts, Sophia Abraham is occasionally guided in the right direction. Of course, this usually only happens after a third party intervenes or there’s such a massive public outcry that Farrah has no choice but to do the right thing. This time it was a combination of the two as Teen Mom fans and the admins at Snapchat simultaneously rose up and shouted, “Wtf are you doing?” at Farrah. You see, Farrah recently made the controversial decision to sign her daughter up for a Snapchat account . That would be fine, of course, were it not for the fact that little Sophia is only 7 years old. Given that the social media app originally took off in large part due to the fact that it allowed users to safely send nude photos, you can see why 7-year-olds having their own accounts might not be the best idea. Sure enough, the decision blew up in Farrah’s face almost immediately. Shortly after news of her account became public, Sophia posted a video in which she reportedly said: “Give me text, I’m coming for you … Give me more texts.” Yes, you’re right to feel uncomfortable right now. The most famous example, of course, being Sophia’s modeling career , but there are countless other cases. Remember the time Farrah involved Sophia in her feud with Nicki Minaj ? If you managed to block that out, congratulations. It’ll probably take Sophia years of therapy to accomplish that.

We’ll also overlook her failed attempts at starting a Snapchat account for the 7-year-old, because it’s not Sophia’s fault that her mom is…different. What’s great is that Farrah is exposing Sophia to opportunities like modeling , but in small doses so that she can still enjoy her childhood. “The first thing she did was in New York Fashion Week,” Abraham told Us Weekly . “There are just a bunch of children’s designers that come together who we know, and so she hosted that. And also Orlando has a huge children’s model magazine, so Sophia is featured in that quite often. Aryanna Gourdin is 12 years old. But she isn’t into Frozen or softball or Pretty Little Liars or anything like that. Well, she may be into those things, we don’t want to presume. But Aryanna Gourdin has become a source of heated debate online because she’s most definitely into hunting. Gourdin and her father, Eli, recently took a trip from Utah to South Africa, with Aryanna excitedly sharing a photo on her Facebook page of her sitting on top of a dead zebra. She’s holding a bow and arrow and she has written the following as a caption: “One of my dream hunts for sure.” Should a 12-year old really be out hunting for big game? Gourdin sees nothing wrong with it. “It’s something I cherish and enjoy and I want other people to see what I experienced,” she said in an interview with Good Morning America. This father-daughter trip was one of several the pair have taken over the past five years, but her Facebook postings have turned Gourdin into a topic of heated discussion. One recent photo received over 73,000 comments, with some users are calling Aryanna “sick” and an “animal hater.” In a post on Tuesday, Gourdin did acknowledge the uproar. “My last profile picture was very offensive to others and I have learned my lesson with that pose, [sic] I apologize.” But Gourdin’s father doesn’t want his daughter saying she’s sorry for having a hobby. Or, on a grander scale, he doesn’t want her saying she’s sorry for who she is. “We’re proud to be hunters and we’ll never apologize for being a hunter,” Eli told GMA. Eli also wants to clear up misunderstandings about hunting: the giraffe he and his daughter killed? The one she’s posing with above? It was offered to them for a kill by the farm they were visiting. “They actually had an older giraffe that was eating up valuable resources other giraffes need to survive,” he said. He also said that the meat from the animals they’ve killed was donated to a local village and will feed 800 orphans over the next month. Despite the controversy, Aryanna said she doesn’t plan to give up one of her favorite activities. “I would never back down from hunting,” she says. “I am a hunter and no matter what people say to me, I’m never going to stop.” This is merely the latest in a long line of viral hunting controversies. Remember Walter Palmer? The dentist who reached a level of Internet infamy when he killed a lion named Cecil ? Or Kendall Jones, the college student who also liked to post photos of her kills online? Vin Diesel has spoken out for the first time since Dwayne Johnson basically called him out on Instagram. A surprising brouhaha has erupted between Diesel and Johnson after the latter shared a scathing post on social media this week. In a lengthy rant, Johnson made it clear he had some issues with at least one male co-star on the set of Fast 8. “This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8,” Johnson wrote. “There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.” Okay, great. All is good then, right? Wrong… “My male co-stars however are a different story,” the action star added. “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. “When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.” Whoa there! Shots fired! At whom? At Vin Diesel , it appears, with TMZ writing in detail about the problems Johnson had with Diesel throughout the filming of the latest installment in this beloved franchise. And a follow-up report claims Johnson wasn’t alone. Diesel reportedly would show up late to the set… insult other stars… and generally act like disrespectful jackass while filming. Conversely, this same report had nothing but positive things to say about Johnson. According to Fast 8 crew members, he was friendly, easy to work with and pretty much everything you’d expect from the popular star. So… where does Diesel stand on all of this? We’ll soon find out. On Wednesday night, Diesel addressed this feud for the first time, pretty clearly admitting he’s the one beefing with Johnson. But not saying much else. Yet. “So much has gone on this year. Earlier today, video of a physical altercation between Lindsay Lohan and her fiance , Egor Tarabasov, was leaked online, drawing astonished reactions from fans. The footage, which many have described as highly disturbing, is being taken by some as definitive evidence that Lindsay was desperately crying out for help when she described herself as a ” victim of domestic violence ” early on in her relationship with Tarabasov. The accusatory post was quickly deleted, but it was only the beginning of Lindsay’s very public relationship troubles.
