Ashley Wagner’s figure skating short program was hot but the judges scores left her cold. The 22-year-old American skater did a little shimmy with joy as she took her bows on the ice, confident her performance was excellent. But when she saw her score – a 63.10 – she couldn’t hide her disappointment. Like, at all. Wagner’s shocked face quickly became the Sochi Olympics version of McKayla Maroney’s “not impressed” face from the 2012 Summer Olympics. “Bullsh*t”, she mouthed to her teammates, although she later amended her statement to “To score that low was very disappointing to me,” when she spoke to reporters. The score put Wagner in fourth place but it was good enough to advance the U.S. to the next round, where they ended up with a bronze medal in team skating. Flappy Bird, the addictive mobile game that flew to the top of the iPhone and Android app downloads charts in recent months, has now flown the coop. A tweet from the creator suggested that its huge success had become a burden for him personally, despite the insane sums of money he banked. “I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down,” developer Dong Nguyen wrote Saturday. “I cannot take this anymore.” What is the “this” he’s referring to? Flappy Bird Pulled Nguyen, a Vietnamese developer with a studio called DotGears, did not reply to interviews request, but has previously said that the game “ruined” his “simple life.” “It is not anything related to legal issues,” he said. “I just cannot keep it anymore.” The notoriety for creating the no-frills game, in which players steer a tiny bird through an obstacle course of metal pipes, is not something he ever sought. Although new players can no longer download “Flappy Bird,” the popular game remains playable for those who had already added it to their devices. As of last week, “Flappy Bird” had an average four-star rating from more than 543,000 reviews in the Apple App Store and 228,000 on Android. It reportedly earns $50,000 a DAY in mobile ad sales alone. How can an allegation that can ruin a man’s career get this far without the witness being able to identify him? We hope this police cover up isn’t true. According to TMZ: There’s evidence Tallahassee cops tried to sweep the sexual assault investigation targeting Florida State University QB Jameis Winston under the rug to protect the team and its star player … and ONLY took aggressive steps after TMZ Sports started asking questions. Sources in the State Attorney’s Office tell us they never even knew about the investigation until Tuesday … JUST ONE DAY AFTER TMZ Sports began making calls to cops about the alleged assault. Our sources in the State Attorney’s Office say … it was highly unusual cops wouldn’t have filled them in about the case until this week. The sources say cops would have typically notified them when the investigation was completed, and Winston’s lawyer reportedly says cops told him it was completed in February. Now get this … TMZ Sports started calling police about the case on Monday. We were told someone would get back to us later that day, but there was radio silence for 2 days … we made repeated calls Tuesday and Wednesday and no one got back to us until late Wednesday afternoon. Sources in the State Attorney’s Office tell us … the timing — getting notified about the case months after it supposedly was closed and just a day after TMZ started calling — is suspicious. The State Attorney has now re-activated the case and sent it back to cops for further investigation. My name is Kelly and I am 14 years old. I’ve been supporting Justin since ‘09. On November 28, 2012 I met my life. I’ve waiting for that day since I first saw Justin singing ‘One Time.’ My sister @Power2Thebiebs and I had entered the contest on BieberFever to meet Justin for the day we would be going to the Believe tour. To tell you the truth, we really didn’t have hope. I knew that the winners received an e-mail if they won the contest the day before the concert. The whole day I was asking my sister if we had received an email, but she kept on telling me no and that I really shouldn’t get my hopes up. That night I decided that I was going to go to bed early because I would be taking a yearbook picture and didn’t want bags under my eyes. Right as I went into bed my sister screamed, “KELLY! KELLY!” At first I thought something bad happened to her, then it just came out of my mouth, “DID WE WIN?!” She started screaming, “YES YES YES.” I was in complete shock, I literally sat on the floor shaking and crying, not actually taking in the fact that I WAS MEETING JUSTIN THE NEXT DAY. I couldn’t handle my emotions. I didn’t fall asleep that night until 12 and woke up at 5 in the morning. I just sat in my bed thinking of what I would say to Justin. After a few hours in school my mom picked me up I quickly changed into my Bieber shirt and shinny purple leggings. We finally arrived at MSG and I didn’t know what to do with myself. I begged him to take a picture but he said, “You’re about to meet Justin and the guards wont let me, sorry sweetie.” The security held the curtain open for me and I walked in. All of a sudden I see a perfect human being standing right in front of me. I couldn’t get any words out. I wanted to tell you about my Bieber experience because I want to share it with people who actually care about the MEETING and not only the PHOTO, and I know that Beliebers do. It all started when Mona (@ JDBswaggy ) asked me if I was going to one of the three concerts that Justin was going to do in Norway. I was not planning on going because no one wanted to come with me and I was not allowed to travel all the way to Oslo by myself. Mona asked me if I wanted to go with her for the first show, on April 16th! I had to pay twice as much as the original price for the ticket, but I didn’t care, because I had waited for this moment since the signing-campaign to get Justin to Norway in 2010. On April 16th I woke up 4:30 a.m., ready to travel to Oslo! Suddenly Mona called, and she screamed in the phone. I couldn’t understand what she was saying and at first I honestly thought she was just very excited for the concert. When I realized what she said, I couldn’t speak. She had won Bieberfever’s contest, she won 2 MEET AND GREETS FOR THE SAME DAY, AND SHE WAS BRINGING ME! My heart was bouncing so hard and the tears slipped. When I was telling my mom I couldn’t speak, I just stood there and smiled big time. Okay, so when we got in line for the M&G’s they brought us in this VIP room where they had separated the ones that bought the M&G (they got individual photos with Justin) and the ones that won it (we had to take pictures in groups of 6). They gave us some general information about the meeting and there were two TV-screens with the video of Justin doing the free concert in Norway from 2012. Suddenly they told us that they had a surprise for us, but everyone had to stay down on our seats. When we were ready, we saw a man appearing in the room, and guess what, it was Dan Kanter! Everyone started to scream and some cried. Dan was so nice and he took time to hug and take pictures with all of us. When it finally was my turn, I hugged him (he smelled amazing), and we took a picture together. Yeah, I was so starstruck that I couldn’t say anything. Suddenly it was time to get in line for the M&G and we were so excited and scared. The guards kept telling us, “Walk in nice and easy, okay? You ready?” Suddenly the curtains was removed. As we got in there all I saw was my idol in real life. He was moving, he was breathing, he was standing right in front of us. It was so crazy! The guards placed us at his side, Mona was standing right beside him, and I was standing at her side. The best thing was that my arm was long enough to be placed on Justin’s back! When the picture was taken, everyone wanted to hug him, but the guards protected him and dragged us away from him. We all tried to get his attention, I shouted, “Good luck!!” to him (yep, very cute, I know) but it all went so fast that I don’t remember if he answered me. Mona got a wave and a smile from him! When we got out they had to cut off our wristbands and I tried not to cry because I didn’t want to flip out in front of the guards. I saw my group coming out of there and cried their hearts out, while I was just laughing. It was too crazy to me, and I couldn’t understand that it actually happened. When we got outside it was raining and people had already started to get in to the concert-arena. Then I started crying, because everything was just too emotional to me. I couldn’t believe that I just had met the one and only Justin Drew Bieber. It was so unreal. After the meeting we went to his concert, and it was just amazing! April 16th 2013 was the best day of my life, and I will never ever forget that day. I can’t explain how thankful I am to Mona that she brought me, I just can’t thank her enough for this.
