115 Dead In Southern China Flood

A torrent of floods which is caused by heavy storms have killed 115 individuals in Southern China. According to weather reports, there are still 21 people who are missing. The emergency rescue teams have been sent across Southern China to help the 685,000 victims who were advised to evacuate. A statement on the Ministry of Civil Affairs website was released that the storm had caused £1.53 billion damages. Chen who is an official at the Hunan Water Bureau said that the rain was severe but it begins to subside. 13 provinces were affected by the flood including Guangdong, Sichuan and Zhejiang. Simon Monjack Died Shortly After Wife’s Death

American actress and singer Brittany Murphy died at age 32 last December 2009 due to pneumonia, an iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication but just five months after her husband Simon Monjack, English writer-director-producer, was found dead last Sunday night in their home in Hollywood. Sharon Murphy called 911 when she discovered Monjack around 9:30 being unresponsive. Monjack was then pronounced dead. According to Sgt. Louie Lozano, Monjack died of natural causes. “We concluded there no signs of foul play or any criminal activity involved,” said Sgt. Alex Ortiz, another police spokesman. Linda Monjack, mother of Simon, told PEOPLE that her son was “unwell, and the doctors are carrying out tests. On whether he has a heart problem it is not really for me to say, you must ask him, but yes, there have been health problems in the past. José Lima Dies at 37

A former MLB All-star and a dominican pitcher died at the age of 37. Jose Lima, a former MLB All-star is dead according to ESPN news. In which was comfirmed by Los Angeles Dodgers. Lima died Sunday morning at his home in Los Angeles caused by a heart attack according to his wife, Dorca Astacio. “Jose was complaining while sleeping and I just thought he was having a nightmare,” Astacio told ESPNdeportes.com. “I called the paramedics, but they couldn’t help him. Lima’s body would be released on Wednesday according to Los Angeles Police Department’s forensic unit. Lima’s family told ESPNdeportes.com that he would be buried in the Dominican Republic. No one has ever expected that as healthy as him, he could die that early. Lima was selected to the All-star Game with Houston in 1999,when he won a career-high 21 games. When Lima went 0-4 in four games pitched, he wasnt able to return to the major leauges after released by Mets. According to the Astros president of baseball operations Tal Smith, Lima was certainly one of the most entertaining personalities to ever don an Astros uniform. According to the former Astro Craig Biggio, a teammate of Lima’s “Everyone will remember Jose for his antics on the mound,” said , according to the team’s website. “But he was a tremendous teammate and a great competitor. 160 Killed in Passenger Plane Crashes in Southern India

Government Minister says that at least 160 people were killed when a state-run Air India Express aircraft, with 168 people on board, overshot a runway during landing and crashed near Mangalore airport in the southern Indian state of Karnataka early Saturday morning. According told to the media by V.S. Acharya, home minister of southern Indian state of Karnataka, “The crash happened while landing and the aircraft immediately caught fire. At least 160 passengers have died in the crash.” It was confirmed Anup Srivastava, Director of Air India that there were 160 passengers and six crew members on the plane. Indian authorities said that there are about 160 people were killed and six survived in the crash. The Russian pilot of the doomed Air India Boeing jet tried to abort landing when the plane overshot runway and crashed Saturday in Mangalore in southern India according to the Air India official. Official added that the probe team is being dispatched to Mangalore from Mumbai to seek more details of the crash. The passenger plane crash happened at around 06:30 a.m. when the Air India Express, a budget airliner of the state-run carrier, carrying 168 people, including six crew members, from Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, attempted to land at Mangalore airport but overshot the runway and broke into pieces, causing a huge fire. GOH Keng Swee#39;s widow Dr Phua Swee Liang told reporters at their home in the East Coast area on Friday morning that Dr Goh died at about 5 am. He had been ill for many years and she was the main caregiver, helping to control his diabetes. She told reporters she felt emotionally numb at his death. Death rumors have circulated a lot in the net lately and has victimized a lot of popular names in the world. Another victim of this rumor is American heavy metal vocalist of Dio band and songwriter Ronnie James Dio who gave lot of performances with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell. The rumors started hours ago.  A tweet from Twitter user says rocker Dio died from stomach cancer. The cancer issue is true.  He was admitted in the hospital in a very serious condition.
