That’s not to say there weren’t negative comments in our article on the original round of comments, but the haters were on the defensive.

House Democrats hope to divert bailout funds to ‘Jobs for Main Street Act’

When the Senate takes up a jobs bill later this month or early in February, the debate will center on whether it really will create jobs and be worth plunging the government tens of billions of dollars further into debt. Republicans scoff at the “Jobs for Main Street Act” title that House Democrats put on their $174 billion package last month.

When news first broke that North Carolina's ban wind turbines from being installed on mountains–on the grounds that they were too ugly–it generated some lively debate. But now, it appears the debate is over and the state senate has voted overwhelmingly in favor of the ban (a stunning 42 to1).

After reviewing a new political advertisement calling for the full legalization of marijuana in America, NBC’s highly rated Today Show took on a debate of the issue. High honors go to Marijuana Policy Project’s Aaron Houston for presenting our side’s common sense arguments, including reminding the rest of the world that marijuana is far safer than alcohol.
