True Blood’s Alexandra Breckenridge on Her American Horror Story Role: "I’ve Never Played Someone So Sexual Before"

We’re big fans of sexual thrillers here at Skin Central, so when we heard Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy ‘s new show American Horror Story billed as a “psychosexual thriller,” we thought we’d give it a chance. The opening episode had everything you’d expect from the title- creepy twins, basement monsters, and, uhm, a guy in a gimp suit- but imagine our delight to see Alexandra Breckenridge show up as young Moira , the hyper-sexual incarnation of a housekeeper who most of the time appears as a glass-eyed dowager. Only Ben ( Dylan McDermott ), the head of this haunted household, sees the sexy Alexandra scrubbing his floors. Lucky stiff! This isn’t Alexandra’s first time appearing in a genre show- she bared boobs as vampire spy Katerina last season on True Blood – but she tells HitFix.com that this is one of the most daring things she’s ever done- and it’s not just the hair: “I’m always looking for a chance to play somebody who’s completely opposite of me, just because I find it more interesting. I’ve played a lot of bubbly girls. This is an extremely different role. I’ve never played someone so sexual before. ” Ok, so maybe it’s the hair: “I get hit on so much it’s not normal. I didn’t realize so many men liked redheads… People I’ve known for years have been texting me, all of a sudden out of nowhere, just randomly paying more attention to me than normal. And men seem more aggressive. It seems to be working well for me.” Members can see boob tube star Alexandra Breckenridge nude right here at MrSkin.com!

MTV Movie Awards: Top Five Moments You Didn’t See!

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner greet each other with a ‘Twilight’ chest bump, a Foo Fighter invites a ‘Harry Potter’ villain out to drinks, and more. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart at the 2011 Movie Awards Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Given that we are MTV News, and the Movie Awards is one of our biggest events of the year, our intrepid team of writers, reporters and producers enjoy what is, hands down, the best behind-the-scenes access to any and everything that happens before, after and during the live broadcast. With that, we narrowed down a pretty impressive list of can’t-believe-it-happened-off-camera moments for you. In no particular order, here are the top five “events” witnessed backstage at the 2011 Movie Awards : Dave Grohl Hijacks Our Best Villain Interview Minutes after accepting his second Movie Award for Best Villain, MTV News was chatting up “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton about the win, where he’ll keep his award, and so forth. Foo Fighters frontman Grohl suddenly jumped into the frame and asked what we were talking about. He went on to congratulate Felton on his win with a friendly hug. Grohl ended the brief encounter by extending an invite to a visibly star-struck Felton to join him for some post-show Absinthe. Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart Chest-Bump We love it when the stars of our favorite films seem to be genuinely good friends both on and offscreen — especially when those real-life pals are two of our favorite “Twilight” actors, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. In between accepting and presenting awards, we watched Stewart and Lautner greet each other backstage with an actual chest bump, which they followed up with a friendly hug. Emma Watson Gets McDreamy’d In spite of the fact that stylish Emma Watson always looks so composed, not even the “Harry Potter” star could resist the dashing good looks of “Grey’s Anatomy” hottie Patrick Dempsey, a.k.a. McDreamy. We witnessed Watson and the “Transformers: Rise of the Fallen” actor passing each other with a smile and a nod. But once Dempsey was out of earshot, Watson turned to her rep, put her hand over her heart and sighed at his dreaminess. “Chocolate Wasted” With Alexys Nycole Sanchez For its sheer adorableness, this moment might be the lead contender for the best thing we witnessed backstage. Moments after “Grown-ups” starlet Alexys Nycole Sanchez nabbed her first Golden Popcorn trophy for her “I want to get chocolate wasted!” line, our MTV News team caught up with the pre-tween to get her reaction. Really, she was too cute for words. And You can see the delight in our faces in the photo posted on our a href=”http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2011/06/05/mtv-movie-awards-behind-the-scenes-live-blog”> Movies Blog as we had to kneel to speak with Sanchez. ‘Hard Times Of RJ Berger’ Stars Rave About Weezer, Paris Hilton Cameos

‘Jersey Shore’ star Vinny also stops by for new season, which kicks off Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on MTV. By Vanessa WhiteWolf Amber Lancaster Photo: MTV News With the second season of “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” set to return to MTV on Thursday at 11 p.m. ET, the already large ensemble cast is getting past the sophomore slump by adding some star power in the way of some huge guest stars. The first one fans can look forward to seeing is “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino, who plays RJ’s cousin in the March 28 episode. Jareb Dauplaise, who co-stars as RJ’s sidekick Miles, told MTV News: “To get Vinny on the show is funny, because the episode is titled ‘My Cousin Vinny.’ So what more would you want than the most famous Vinny I think we got right now? So we are finally going to learn how to GTL from the original GTL member himself.” Jayson Blair, who plays RJ and Miles’ archenemy Max, admitted, “You see these [reality] shows and you don’t know what to expect because people are always different. I talked to him here and there at events, but when he came onto set, he was super focused and super dedicated and really passionate about acting, which I couldn’t be more excited for. And he was great.” Fellow reality star Paris Hilton also dropped by the set, to the delight of Dauplaise and his family. “Paris Hilton comes on the show, and I was lucky enough to have the scene with her, and Paris is great,” Dauplaise gushed. “She’s beautiful, and my mom’s a big fan of Paris Hilton. Actually, my mom got to meet Paris, and they got along great!” And Weezer, whose Pinkerton album provides the name of the show’s fictional high school , also make an appearance in the new season. “It’s actually the one band that I’ve never gotten the chance to see live until I met them on the show, and of course I was like, ‘Hey can I please get some tickets? You know, come see you guys for free?’ ” said self-proclaimed “huge” Weezer fan Dauplaise. “Rivers Cuomo is great. Got to go with Paul [who plays RJ Berger] to the set of ‘Magic,’ the video Weezer shot with B.o.B, and it was great to meet them all. Just so cool to look at these guys that you’ve been listening to for over a decade now.” Amber Lancaster almost didn’t make the cut for Weezer’s big scene. “I was, like, so mad, because I was originally not in that script, and I was like, ‘I want to be at that concert! I love Weezer!’ So they wrote me into that episode. That was cool. So you’ll see me [my character] Jenny gets to go to Weezer.” Don’t miss “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” season premiere Thursday at 11 p.m. following the “Jersey Shore” season finale on MTV. Bright Eyes Go To The Opera For Surprise SXSW Show

Conor Oberst dazzles in a secret gig held at a 130-year-old Austin opera house on Friday. By James Montgomery Conor Oberst (file) Photo: Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images AUSTIN, Texas — When one thinks of Conor Oberst, a 130-year-old opera house probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. Or the second, for that matter. And yet, on Friday night at South by Southwest, there was Oberst and his Bright Eyes band, standing beneath the crystal chandeliers and velvet drapes of the Austin Club , a lavish, limestone-layered building first opened in 1878 as the Millett Opera House. The occasion wasn’t a wedding or a banquet (both of which the club plays host to on the regular these days), but rather, an AOL Pop Up Show, announced only hours beforehand, much to the delight of fans and SXSWers alike, who lined up early and hoped against hope that they’d be one of the lucky ones to snag a spot inside. Of course, most were turned away. But the folks who made it past the front doors were treated to a shambling, rambling (though all-too-brief) Bright Eyes set, as Oberst and his six-piece ensemble ran roughshod over songs from the past decade of his songbook. Needless to say, the band probably felt a little out of place — at one point, after surveying his stuffy surroundings, Oberst joked, “Have you guys ever been to the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland? Very soon the walls will start stretching to the stratosphere” — but if they were uncomfortable, they didn’t show it, starting somberly with “An Attempt to Tip the Scales” (from 2000’s Fevers and Mirrors ) and building steam on “Hot Knives” (from ’07’s Cassadaga ), the former featuring Oberst’s warm, warbling vocals and the latter a stirring mix of wiring, winding guitars and wind-swept synths. “Take It Easy (Love Nothing)” powered along with a pair of drummers, with Oberst flailing and hammering out chords on his electric guitar, and “Jejune Stars” (from his just-released The People’s Key disc) was an exercise in frayed, frazzled fret abuse. Of course, most Bright Eyes fans prefer Oberst’s softer side, and they got that on “Beginner’s Mind,” which he prefaced with, “The next song is about trying not to become a cynical a–hole,” and, thanks to some nifty vocal effects, sang as if his voice was at the bottom of a well. He also delivered a shuffling, austere take on “Bowl of Oranges.” He brought things to a hush with the stirring “Poison Oak,” which started off whisper quiet, grew louder on winsome guitars, and then positively unspooled into an impressive din, pushed forward by a pealing organ line. The band continued that momentum with “The Calendar Hung Itself,” a walloping, clomping stomper featuring dueling drummers and a blaring horn line. And then, like most Bright Eyes sets, the band finished with “Road to Joy,” which built to a froth and then, as Oberst spat, “Let’s f— it up, boys, make some noise!” boiled over into a squall of feedback and horns and organs. The crowd — some of whom had been waiting more than eight hours for this moment — losing their collective mind, surging forward and creating several worried looks amongst the Austin Club staff (thankfully, none of the good china was broken). And when the band departed from the stage, the crowd chanted for an encore that never came. It was about the only down moment of the evening, but as those fans filed down the building’s ornate staircase and out into the Austin night, you got the feeling they weren’t focusing on the negative. It just didn’t seem proper, given the surroundings. Related Videos On The Scene At SXSW 2011 Related Photos 2011 SXSW Music Festival Related Artists Bright Eyes

Odd Future Run Wild At The Woodies: Watch Backstage Footage Now!

MTV News is with the L.A. collective as they take over Texas for South by Southwest. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Christopher “CJ” Smith and Dominic Masi Photo: Tim Mosenfelder/ Getty Images AUSTIN, Texas — If you’ve seen any of their performances — like, for example, their reign of terror last month on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” — then you probably knew what to expect from oddball L.A. rap collective Odd Future at the mtvU Woodie Awards on Wednesday: It was definitely going to be memorable, probably to the point of psychological scarring. And while what we got during the show was most certainly, well, odd (a pair of furry mascots, two beefy security guards, one masked little person, garden gnomes, rainbows and a whole lot of growling, to be precise), there was also a focused, snarling intensity to their set — perhaps due to the fact that, in their first South by Southwest, despite the thousands of other bands in attendance, Odd Future knew they were the center of attention. That much was apparent from the minute they arrived at Woodies rehearsals. Between photo-ops with Wiz Khalifa, hugs from Zoe Kravitz and onstage shout-outs from Pete Wentz, OF put on a show both on camera and off, tearing across the stage during rehearsals and then, minutes before stepping into the spotlight for their performance, pacing the backstage hallways, snarling and swearing, psyching themselves up, much to the delight (and terror) of those around them. (As one stagehand joked, “This is the best bar mitzvah I’ve ever been to.”) Much like last month, MTV News’ cameras were there , following the Odd Future crew every step of the way. And while we’ll be rolling out more in the coming days, in honor of their Woodies performance, here’s Odd Future seconds before stepping onstage. What did you think of Odd Future’s performance? Let us know in the comments! Related Photos Woodie Awards 2011: Show Highlights Woodie Awards 2011: Behind The Scenes

Justin Bieber Talks Sex, Abortion In Rolling Stone

Justin Bieber Talks Sex, Abortion In Rolling Stone Justin Bieber is the cover boy for the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and he’s speaking out about abortion, girls, politics…and, to the delight of girlie tweens and teens, his take on sex. The Biebs, 16, who has been romantically linked to Selena Gomez , thinks love should come before sex. “I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them … I think you should just wait for the person you’re in love with,” he says. Check out some more interview highlights below: On politics: “I’m not sure about the parties. But whatever they have in Korea, that’s bad.” On abortion: “I really don’t believe in abortion. It’s like killing a baby?” When asked about in the case of rape, he said, “Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.” Selena Gomez is his desktop background: “Near the end of their time together [contributing editor Vanessa] Grigoriadis caught a glimpse of Bieber’s desktop image: It was him and [Selena] Gomez against an orange sunset.” Bieber quickly shut his laptop when Grigoriadis caught sight of it. On never becoming a US citizen: “You guys are evil. Canada’s the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard’s baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby’s premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home.” On his voice changing Bieber’s voice began to change on his last tour. He’s now working with a vocal couch, which involves doing 20 push-ups before before a session to warm up his chest. “He’s got a nice tone tone to his voice now,” says his vocal coach Jan Smith. “It’s a good texture, but it doesn’t sound like what his fans think he sounds like. He’ll get four octaves eventually. He’s still young.” Click on over to Rollingstone.com for the full interview.

Did Justin Bieber Cut His Hair , Justin Bieber bald images are nightmarish for girls fan. The look bald Justin Bieber certainly attracts fewer girls than his hairstyle now iconic. Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ 3-D Movie Is Uplifting Even to ‘Non-Beliebers’

It’s easy to laugh off Bieber Fever. It only takes a shake of that perfectly side-swept mane to send teenage girls into hysterics. But in Justin Bieber’s 3-D movie ‘Never Say Never,’ even the non-Beliebers among us will appreciate the heart and hard work that’s gone into making the 16-year-old heartthrob a worldwide phenomenon. The could-be-boy-bander’s musical aptitude is often glossed over by the media, but in the film we see the real talent that launched his career. Home movies of Justin at age 3, rhythmically keeping the beat and drumming to the delight of his mom’s 20-something friends, add some intimacy to the epic production. More family footage showcases his flourishing musical skills, showing a young Bieber performing at local talent shows and picking up a multitude of new instruments at his church. The kid proves he was launched by his voice and musical abilities, and he wasn’t another mediocre-sounding youngster put in a pretty package and sold by Disney. ‘Never Say Never’ leads up to Justin’s first headlining performance at Madison Square Garden, and the audience gets to know the wunderkind’s real and extended families. We meet Pattie Mallette, the single mother who became pregnant with Justin when she was only 18, and the endearing, small town grandparents who helped raise the Canadian sensation. We also get to know Scooter Braun, the now 29-year-old manager who happened upon a then-12-year-old Bieber’s soulful living room performances on YouTube back in 2007. Scooter clearly cares about Justin on a personal level, and worries about preserving his childhood and helping him grow up to be “a good man.” But when it’s time to get down to business, Scooter plays disciplinarian and is described by Justin as “the dad” of his multi-person tour company. It’s fascinating to see how much hard work Justin and the seemingly down-to-earth cast of characters working with the teen idol put into making and maintaining him as a star. Sure, now the kid can bat his eyelashes and shut down Times Square, but he sang for all the tiny town DJs who would listen, break danced for any water parks that would have him and broke hearts in middle school auditoriums across the country long before the world came to know him as a star. And as frustrating as it was for the typically impatient teen, neither he nor his team gave up when things didn’t come easy. ‘Never Say Never’ is really the first feature to really explore fame in the 21st century. It combats the notion that the constant connectivity that comes with the Internet overexposes a star. On the contrary, new technology (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook) is precisely what has made Justin the huge, modern-day celebrity he is today. So whether you’re an avid fan or a cynical non-Belieber, ‘Never Say Never’ is an insightful, uplifting look at the world’s biggest teen phenomenon. The film opens nationwide Feb. 11, just in time for millions of adoring young ladies to spent some quality time with the Biebs in theaters on Valentine’s Day.
