Who Will Be President? Election 2016 Polls, Predictions & Analysis Says …

After a long and tumultuous campaign season, the question of who will be President will finally be answered in a little over 24 hours. Either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be the 45th President of the United States. That much we know. The rest is up to the voters. Let’s break down where things stand on the final day before an election unlike any other in history, and with so much at stake for America … As of Monday morning, polls show a modest but not insurmountable lead for Hillary Clinton, the baggage-laden Democratic nominee. She’s ahead of controversial Republican Donald Trump in both two-way matchups and a four-way race against Trump, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. Aggregators of polling data agree that her lead is somewhere in the range of 2-3 percent nationally, with similarly close races statewide. Is 2-3 percent within the margin of error? Indeed, and we can guarantee you Clinton is not measuring the Oval Office drapes yet. Nevertheless, she remains a modest favorite Tuesday. A few weeks ago, a more comfortable Clinton win seemed likely, and a landslide victory even felt like something within the realm of possibility. So much for that. Clinton led in national polls consistently by 6-7 points, benefiting from three strong presidential debate performances and Trump … being Trump . The recent reopening of the FBI’s probe into Clinton’s private email server helped galvanize Trump’s base, however, and tighten the race. How much impact the FBI had – as opposed to reliably Republican voters “coming home” to the Donald as they would anyway – is unclear. It didn’t help her, however; Clinton’s once-safe lead dwindled down to toss-up territory, even as the FBI didn’t change its findings ultimately . Clinton probably never thought she’d be sweating it out at this point in her second White House bid, but she undeniably (and wisely) is. No candidate in 2012, 2008 or 2004 improved their national polling by more than two points in the two weeks prior to Election. Trump has. Still, it may not be enough to overcome his own ceiling with independents, and the Clinton campaigns superior’s organizational structure. If Clinton and Trump perform at current polling levels (or if Clinton does better than expected), she will prevail, either by a little or a lot. There are still real paths to a Trump victory, via polling errors and/or a late uprising of previously undetected support for the businessman. How favorable are his odds really, though? Predictive models at FiveThirtyEight, the Upshot ( New York Times ) and the Huffington Post all project a Clinton win … of varying degrees. The HuffPost model cites a ridiculous 1.6% chance of a Trump win, while FiveThirtyEight is more bullish, giving him once chance in three. In fairness, Trump does have a real shot. See the map above. With 270 Electoral Votes needed to win, Clinton would claim 301 – more than enough – if every state’s polling is accurate. It’s more complicated than that, however. Margins in Florida in particular are razor-thin, while Trump is gaining ground in New Hampshire. Take away their 33 combined Electoral Votes? You could be looking at President Trump. On the flip side, Clinton is competitive in 5-6 red states above, so he has no margin for error. This second map (both courtesy of Real Clear Politics) offers a better indication of the extent of both candidates leads in the polls, if any. Using only leads determined to be safe or reasonably safe, Clinton’s lead in the Electoral College shrinks to 203-164, with 171 in play. Still, Trump’s battle is more uphill than Hillary’s. North Carolina and Florida are very close – within a percent – but if she can pull out either one, it’s pretty much curtains for the Donald. How Trump does there will tell us what kind of night we’re in for, although neither is currently part of Clinton’s fabled blue state “firewall.” That’s a problem. Even if he wins both North Carolina and Florida on top of Ohio, Iowa, Georgia and Arizona, he’ll be at 259 Electoral Votes. Very close, but not quite Inaugural Address time. In that scenario, he’d have to cobble together a combination of Nevada (very possible), Colorado or New Mexico (less likely) and N.H. to win. So, unless he can outperform his polling across the nation and “steal” a Pennsylvania or Michigan (he trails in both), he will come up short. It’s just a matter of how short. In the end, we would bet on a Trump victory based on this analysis. However, we’ve also learned never to count out Donald or his supporters. Yet therein lies a central tradeoff of Trump’s candidacy – his outsider persona and populist stances widely appeal to a wide swath of the electorate. They also alienate an equally wide swath. Turning off Hispanics, women, and even traditional Republican groups in his brash run for the Republican nomination put him in a big hole. One has yet to show he can climb out of. For all of Clinton’s many flaws, and her own widespread unpopularity, she seems poised to eke this one out and make history Tuesday. Thoughts? Comments? Votes? Hit it! And the Winner is? They’re With Her: Jay And Bey Surprise Fans At Cleveland Rally For Hillary Clinton

Jay And Bey Surprise Fans At Cleveland Rally For Hillary Clinton The Carters surprised fans at Hillary Clinton’s Cleveland “Stronger Together” voting rally tonight, with Bey popping out to perform ‘Formation’ and ‘Freedom’ and lend her official support to the Democratic nominee. Bey even shared a few words with the crowd about how monumental Hillary’s run in office would be for the nation: “There was a time when a woman’s opinion did not matter… less than 100 years ago women did not have the right to vote, look how far we’ve come to having no voice to being on the brink of history by electing the first woman president. But we have to vote. The world looks to us as a progressive country that needs change. I want my daughter to grow up seeing a woman lead our country and know that her possibilities are limitless.” Nice. Are you with her too? Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber: It’s Over!

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are officially over! After 11-years together, the stars have confirmed that their relationship has concluded . The couple were never married, but spending 11 years of your life with someone is a LONG time.  Schreiber once referred to Watts in the media as his wife in attempt to play a prank.  A joint statement confirmed the news of the split and we can hardly contain our emotions.  “Over the past few months we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple,” Schreiber and Watts said in a joint statement. “It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.” “While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy,” the statement continued. It sure sounds like things are ending amicably. Right? It should be interesting to hear what really transpired before they called it quits. There will no doubt be a lot of rumors about why it really ended.  It was mere months ago that two appeared loved up at the 88th Academy Awards Ceremony. It’s crazy how things can change so quickly.  That was the same awards ceremony in which Liev proved he was the best dad in the world by taking his son as his date.  Have a look at a picture of them below: The surprising thing about the split is that Star Magazine was probably right all along about Watts and Schreiber. There was allegedly a rift between the couple on the set of The Bleeder. So much so that they apparently split as soon as production wrapped, but stayed together in the public eye until the promotional efforts for the movie were over.  Maybe they knew fans would not flock to see the flick if they were over.  Would anyone want to go see a movie with a couple who broke up?  Probably not. Watt and Schreiber are parents to Alexander (Sasha) Pete Schreiber, 8, and Samuel Kai Schreiber, 7. View Slideshow: 18 Most Stunning Splits in Celebrity History The couple first met in 2005 and had an instant attraction to each other.  So much so that Naomi made an excuse to be in New York to meet up with Liev and that’s how they got together.  It sounds like a love story ripped straight from a teen drama… minus the breaking up part.  Well, unless you’re on Pretty Little Liars. The couples on that show get messed with all the damn time.  2016 has not been the greatest year for celebrity couples.  They’re dropping like flies at this rate and there’s no sign of that stopping any time soon.  What do you think about the end of Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber? Presidential Debate 2016: Who Won, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?!

After more than a year of bruising campaigning, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton went toe-to-toe for the first time on Monday night. Coming into the first presidential debate of the 2016 election, the Republican and Democratic nominees were in a virtual dead heat.  Will this evening’s ratings-shattering event change that? And the Winner is? Hillary Clinton Click Here To Vote for Hillary Donald Trump Click Here To Vote for Donald After more than a year of campaigning, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton went toe-to-toe in the first presidential debate of 2016. Who won it?! View Poll » Suspense, and the stakes, have been building for weeks. In an increasingly competitive and historic election, the anticipation could not be greater and the unpredictability could not be higher. Put that all together and the previous debate record of 45 million viewers ( Obama vs. Romney , 2012) could be doubled. Yes, doubled. Two months from now, the showdown at Hofstra University in New York may go down as a watershed moment in U.S. political history. Can Clinton, the first major party female nominee and one-time heavy favorite now clinging to a narrow lead in many polls, right the ship? The Democrat was widely expected to become the 45th President as recently as July, but Donald J. Trump has thrown a wrench into that. From the moment he announced his bid for the Republican nomination, the reality star and businessman has been a true wild card. No one other than his true believers took him seriously. Trump was written off so many times, and committed so many “this is the end of his campaign” blunders, we lost count. By February. His opponents assumed he’d eventually self-implode. Ask the other 16 Republican candidates who competed against him how that worked out. Clinton, however, represents a much tougher foe. Sucking the oxygen out of a room filled with wannabes is one thing. Can he conquer a one-woman political dynasty one-on-one next?  Hillary’s strategy was to knock Trump off balance and force him to stick to facts instead of his trademark vague, outrageous statements. Trump’s was to bring his unconventional, unfettered style to a traditional venue, convincing the American public that he’s up to the job. So who prevailed in this epic tilt? You tell us. Vote above and comment below.

Anthony Weiner: Headed to Prison For Sexting Teenage Girl?

These days, the unfortunately-named Anthony Weiner is better known for his numerous sex scandals than for his political career. Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 after inadvertently tweeting a sexually explicit photo of himself. In 2013, Weiner returned to the political arena with a failed campaign for mayor of New York City that was cut short when it was revealed that Weiner had been sexting Sydney Leathers, a young woman who went on to tar in an adult film based on her involvement with the disgraced politician. It seems even that incident wasn’t enough to keep the 52-year-old from sending explicit texts and social media messages, and Weiner was caught up in two additional sexting scandals in the past month. While his political career has come to an end, until recently Weiner was married to Huma Abedin, a top aide for Hillary Clinton. Abedin left Weiner after the latest round of revelations, but his name is still linked with the Clinton campaign, and thus, his scandalous private life is still making headlines. And unfortunately for everyone involved, Weiner’s dalliances keeping getting more and more shameful. Back in August, Weiner was caught in yet another sexting scandal after having sent a number of explicit photos (at least one of which showed the former congressman lying in bed next to his young son) were posted by a woman who set out to “catfish” Weiner.  Last week, it was revealed that Weiner had been sexting a 15-year-old girl , a move that could land him in serious legal trouble. Page Six consulted with legal experts to find out if Weiner could be facing jail time for the illicit texts. The answer? Some believe that not only is Weiner headed to prison, he latest misdeeds might lead to a new federal law being enacted. “This could be the tip of the iceberg with a minor,” a DC lawyer and former DA who believes Weiner will do time. “This is not the first school girl he wants to see in her uniform.” She added that he’ll almost certainly be facing a civil suit from the girl’s family as well: “This is disgusting and depraved. I would not want to be his lawyer. He is not going to win this case.” As a result of Weiner’s latest scandal, New York State Assembly candidate Dean Hart is calling for a bill to criminalize sexually explicit text messages sent to minors: “When you are an adult you don’t play games with 15-year-old girls . . . This should be illegal and eliminates the difference between images and writing.” Hart added: “This is how he gets his jollies. I thought he needs a shrink … but now [with a minor], they got to make it a crime. “When people drive drunk, they are not permitted to drive a car again, so they should ban him from using cellphones and the Internet.” Others believe Weiner will avoid jail due to the fact that thus far the texts between Weiner and the teen that have surfaced have not featured any explicit photos. Whatever the case, this latest controversy should serve as a decisive nail in the coffin for Weiner’s political career and his marriage.

Pastor Mark Burns Apologizes For Tweeting Hillary Clinton Blackface Cartoon We already know we can’t trust a word that comes out this faux Kappa’s mouth… Via RawStory Pastor Mark Burns, a surrogate for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, told CNN that he did not realize that a cartoon depicting Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in blackface would be “divisive.” In an apology posted to Periscope on Monday, Burns explained that he regreted posting the controversial political cartoon, which he said was meant to show that Democrats “were using black people just for their votes.” “It was never my intention to hurt anyone or to offend anyone,” Burns insisted to CNN host Alisyn Camerota on Tuesday. “Obviously, my message, I stand by. Demi Lovato Birthday Tribute: This is Why We Love the Singer

One of our favorite celebrities on the entire planet turns 24 years old today. Won’t you join us in honoring Demi Lovato? The singer celebrates her birthday on August 20 and we’re only too happy to celebrate Lovato on a constant basis. Why? First, because she’s pretty talented. Lovato writes a lot of her own material and puts on a pretty great show, as millions of young fans who have attended her concerts can attest to. But that’s only the beginning. Lovato is truly one of our role models in Hollywood because she is never afraid to speak her mind. Not even a quarter-century old yet, Demi has been through more in her short life than most people will go through in eight decades. As Lovato has no problem talking about, she spent several weeks in rehab toward the end of 2010, battling an addiction to various drugs as well as an eating disorder. Since that time, to use a cliche, Lovato has been committed to keeping it real. View Slideshow: 22 Times Demi Lovato Has Kept It Real Ask her about being anorexic? Lovato will explain what life was like for her back in the day. Bring up her hard drug use? Lovato will tell you how she used to sneak cocaine on to airplanes . Has she been diagnosed as bipolar? Yes, and Lovato will talk openly about how this still affects her to this day. The artist is unafraid to touch on these topics because she wants to set a positive example to anyone who has ever suffered through any of these problems. As a result, Lovato has been given a national platform at times. She actually delivered a brief speech and performed at the 2016 Democratic National Convention last month. Here is what she said: Demi Lovato Talks Mental Illness at Democratic National Convention Pretty cool, huh? It’s hard to imagine Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber or Selena Gomez ever being invited to do such a thing, isn’t it? And that’s not a slight by any means. They are mostly performers who do their job very, very well. But Lovato has become more than just a performer. She clearly aims to do more than just sell a bunch of albums. And that is why we love her.
