Highlights From Last Night’s Episode Of “Lala’s Full Court Life” [RECAP]

See the original post:

Last night was the second episode of “Lala’s Full Court Life” on Vh1. On this episode, Lala helped celebrate her Bff Kelly Rowland’s 30th birthday. Lala, Kelly and Po released some stress at the gun range and then Kelly got her very first tattoo with her bff’s Lala and Serena Williams by her side. Lala then let us into her personal life and showed us that even for a super star like her, booking gigs and getting auditions is not easy and requires hard work! She took us behind the scenes as she was getting ready to host the red carpet at the “Critics Choice Awards” and even let us in on her “wardrobe malfunction”. Lala also touched on Carmelo’s NBA trade and the rumors that he wanted to leave Denver and head to New York only because of her. I absolutely love Lala’s show because it shows such positivity relationships with love, family and friendship. It’s great to see a positive black couple on reality television for a change with minimal drama! What did you think about this week’s episode? Will you tune into next week’s episode? Doug Lamborn on "Tar Baby" Comparison: My Bad!

Doug Lamborn is really sorry. When he referred to President Barack Obama’s economic policy as a “tar baby” this week, he meant to use the word “quagmire.” Hey, we’ve all been there, right? In a radio show interview over the weekend, the Colorado Congressman said: “Even if some people say, ‘Well the Republicans should have done this or they should have done that,’ they will hold the President responsible. Now, I don’t even want to have to be associated with him. It’s like touching a tar baby and you get it, you’re stuck, and you’re a part of the problem now and you can’t get away.” Dough Lamborn on Obama Lamborn has since sent a letter of apology to the President and his office released the following statement: The congressman was “attempting to tell a radio audience last week that the president’s policies have created an economic quagmire for the nation and are responsible for the dismal economic conditions our country faces. He regrets that he chose the phrase ‘tar baby,’ rather than the word ‘quagmire.’ The politician told The Denver Post : “I absolutely intended no offense, and if this is at all on his radar screen, I am sure that he will not take offense and he’ll be happy to accept my apology because he is a man of character.” Seriously, who even has the term “tar baby” in his vernacular these days?!?

While the world was wondering what his issues were, Brandon was battling some personal demons. While in jail after his domestic dispute issues, Marshall sought counseling and found out that he has BPD. He now wants to be the face of the disorder to help others: “I’ll make myself vulnerable if it saves someone’s life because I know what I went through this summer helped save mine..This is the most stigmatized disorder out there, but yet it’s very treatable and with the right help, the right treatment program, the right treaters, one diagnosed with BPD, can live a healthy, effective, peaceful life,” Well isn’t this a way to turn lemons into lemonade. The Undefeated Movie Reviews: Terrible Doesn’t Even Do It Justice

Movie reviews of Stephen K. Bannon’s Sarah Palin documentary The Undefeated are about what you’d expect. Not great from the LAME-stream media, with staunch defenders on the other end of the political spectrum. Aside from being erroneously titled (even if you don’t count the 2008 presidential election, Palin lost a 2002 bid for Lt. Governor of Alaska all on her own), the film is essentially a troop-rallying campaign infomercial. Or, as the L.A. Times puts it, The Undefeated is nothing short of a “a hero-worshiping, crescendo-edited, thunderously repetitive talking points briefing.” It gets worse from there. Roll Call calls it: “A flattering portrait of Palin as someone unafraid to take on her own party’s bosses. There’s little doubt Palin, who did not participate in its

Kush Chronic-les: A Denver Newspaper Has Employs A Writer To Pen Pot Reviews

This guy has got to be the envy of college students across the world… Denver is at the peak of a citywide pot boom. It all started after the U.S. Attorney General’s office — in a shift of policy since the Bush administration — announced in 2009 that it would not prosecute marijuana users if their state permits use of the drug for medical reasons. “It just blew up from there,” William Breathes tells weekends on All Things Considered host Guy Raz. Colorado had permitted use of medical marijuana since 2000, but now it had a stamp of approval from the federal government. So Breathes — employed by Westword, Denver’s weekly alternative newspaper — became perhaps the first professional marijuana critic in the country. William Breathes is his pen name, of course. Like a food critic, he remains anonymous to the businesses he reviews. Says “William” about his writing: “We have more than 100,000 licensed medical marijuana cardholders in the state,” he says. That’s fueled the growth of dispensaries, which now outnumber Starbucks in Denver. More than 300 dispensaries are in business citywide. That’s a lot of options for readers of Westword, Breathes says. “When I’m reviewing marijuana, I’m looking for how clean it’s grown, how well it’s grown,” he says. But he’s also reviewing the dispensary itself. “How would an older patient feel going into this place?” he says. “How would someone new to cannabis feel in this place? If it makes me feel icky going into a place, then it would probably make my grandma feel icky. And there’s plenty of grandmas around the Denver community with medical marijuana cards going to these dispensaries.” Damn Denver, talk about Rocky Mountain “high”. Wonder does Mr. Breathes get the munchies, fall asleep, and miss his deadlines? Source
