SMFH: Minnesota Cop Charged For Punching Handcuffed 14-Year-Old Girl

REALLY?! Minnesota Cop Faces Misdemeanor For Punching 14-Year-Old Girl A St. Paul cop is on paid leave after he punched a 14-year-old girl TWICE in the face for spitting on him. A teen who was described as being upset, possibly suicidal and in need of psychiatric help, allegedly spat in the face of officer Michael Soucheray who then punched her and called her a “f*** b***.” The Washington Post reports: St. Paul Police Officer Michael Soucheray and his partner, Chris Rhoades, were sent to defuse the situation at Brittany’s Place, a shelter for girls on the east side of the Minnesota city in December. But the teenager “became agitated,” a criminal complaint says, and she gave officers and shelter staff the silent treatment. […] Then she cleared her throat and spat in Soucheray’s face, the complaint and the officer’s attorney say. Soucheray, a seven-year member of the police department, balled up his fist and punched the girl in the face, the complaint says. Then he did it again. He grabbed her by the jaw and called her “f—— b—-,” according to the complaint. On Monday, Soucheray was charged with fifth-degree assault, a misdemeanor that could land the officer in prison for 90 days. And the officer’s punch in the back of a patrol car has embroiled another Twin Cities police department in the heated national debate about police use of force. Soucheray is on paid administrative leave, as his police department conducts an internal investigation, according to his department’s Facebook page. Wow, only a misdemeanor? A rep for the officer says he was protecting himself from possible diseases when he punched the 14-year-old. Do YOU think the cop got the right punishment for assaulting a child?

BOSSIP Exclusive: Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson Claims He’s Too Broke To Pay Bills In Foreclosure Suit

Homeowners Association Suing To Foreclose Ex-Athlete’s Home Ex-NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson said he’s struggling to keep up on his bills and cannot afford the $2,600 owed to his homeowners association over his Miami home. Johnson filed a letter to the court Sept. 9 in response to the foreclosure lawsuit from the Coconut Cay Homeowner’s Association, but he says he plans to pay the debt off next month in hopes he can save the pad from being foreclosed. Coconut Cay Homeowners Association sued Johnson last month , and wants to foreclose on his Miami home because he stopped paying the association fees. The former NFL star purchased the 3,410 sq. ft. six-bedroom, four-bathroom home for $265,000 back in 2012. The association explained Johnson purchased the home knowing he had to pay the monthly and quarterly association fees and other costs. Despite numerous invoices and demands for payment, they accuse him of failing to pay his assessments from September 1st, 2015 until now. The association slapped him with a lien back in June. The lien states he owes a grand total of $2,643.20 in fees, interest and attorney fees. Now, they have filed suit demanding that Johnson be ordered to pay the $2,643 in unpaid fees and if he doesn’t do it quick they want his home taken from him ASAP. Then on September 9th, Chad filed a letter to the court in the case explaining he is struggling financially but has every plan to pay the association the money owed. He said, ”I apologize for the delinquency in paying the monthly HOA fees on the property. I am currently dealing with financial hardships that made it very difficult to pay in the past few months.” Chad continued, “I expect that I should be able to (pay) the current amount of $2,242.36 no later than October 1st. He then asked who he should make the check payable to and where to send it. Neither the association nor the judge have responded to Chad’s letter in the case. Chad is currently selling his other Florida home in Davie, Florida for $2 million dollars. He narrowly avoided having that property foreclosed on, when he settled debt with the homeowners association at the last minute. The scheduled auction was cancelled only days before it was set to go live.

Did You Know: 67 People (And Counting) Have Been Killed By Cops Since Colin Kaepernick Began Anthem Protest

67 People Have Been Killed By Cops Since Kaepernick’s Protest How many people exactly have been murdered by police since NFL star Colin Kaepernick decided to protest the National Anthem? A lot more than people are willing to discuss reports HuffPo : At least 15 black people have died during encounters with the police since San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began protesting police violence by kneeling before NFL games, based on numbers compiled by The Guardian . Kaepernick’s decision to sit or take a knee during the national anthem first drew attention after his team’s Aug. 26 preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, when he told NFL.com that he was “not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” Since then, Kaepernick’s continued protest has drawn considerable criticism from politicians, police unions, pundits, other professional athletes and many on social media who have opposed both his message and his method of conveying it. But the problem Kaepernick wants to highlight has continued. And on Monday, it was back in the news again, after police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, released multiple videos that showed the fatal shooting of Terence Crutcher. Overall, police have killed at least 67 people since Kaepernick’s protest began, according to The Guardian’s database. Roughly 22 percent of the victims have been black. Police have killed more than 780 people so far in 2016, according to The Guardian’s numbers. At least 193 of those people ― or about 25 percent ― were black. Of the 15 black people killed since Kaepernick’s demonstration started, at least 11 were shot, according to The Washington Post’s tracker of fatal police shootings. The white officer who shot Crutcher, Betty Shelby, was placed on paid administrative leave while the department investigates the case ― another issue Kaepernick highlighted when he spoke out against police killings. Robert Wagner to Be Arrested For Murder of Natalie Wood?

It’s been almost 35 years since Natalie Wood drowned during a boat trip with husband Robert Wagner and friend Christopher Walken. Despite the fact that decades have passed since Wood lost her life under mysterious circumstances off the coast of Catalina Island, there’s been a renewed interest in the circumstances of her death in recent years. The case began making headlines again back in 2012, when Wood’s death certificate was officially changed to include “mysterious circumstances” as one of the causes of her passing. Shortly thereafter, rumors that Wood caught Wagner and Walken in bed together on the night of her death began to circulate online. In December of 2014, Walken was questioned by police in connection with Wood’s death, but insiders say the interrogation produced no new information. Several members of Wood’s family have remained persistent in their efforts to get to the bottom of what really happened on that fateful night in 1981, and the campaign to get all parties involved to participate in the ongoing investigation led to a videotaped confrontation between Wagner and Wood’s sister last year: Natalie Wood: Late Actress’ Sister Confronts Robert Wagner Over Murder Investigation Now, a private detective firm called Cold Case Investigative Research claims to have assembled sufficient evidence to offer to convince police to arrest Wagner for Wood’s murder. CCIR investigator Mark Rulli recently revealed to Radar Online that the firm has turned a file containing their findings over the Los Angeles Ounst Sheriff’s Department, which reopened its own investigation into Wood’s death in 2011. “Natalie was married to a jealous man, who ended up robbing her of life,”  Rulli tells the website. While he’s unable to confirm the rumors about Walken and Wagner being involved in a sexual relationship, Rulli says he’s been able to prove conclusively that Wagner was carrying on two simultaneous affairs while Wood was still alive. In order to avoid compromising the investigation, Rulli declined to offer forensic details, but an insider familiar with the case has assured Radar that “a bust is looming.” A spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed that the department is “fully aware” of CCIR’s findings, but did not offer any further information. It remains unclear if police have any intention of pressing charges against the 86-year-old Wagner. We’ll have further updates on this story as more information becomes available.
