Last week, Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke , claiming that her former producer had sexually assaulted her several times over the course of ten years. Luke countersued and accused Kesha of blackmail and extortion. Earlier today, evidence that seemed the corroborate the singers claims surfaced in the form of tweets that were posted back in February in which Kesha attacks Luke and accuses him of abuse. Now this strange case has taken another unexpected twist, as TMZ has obtained a transcript of a deposition from 2011 in which Kesha swears under oath that Luke never drugged or molested her, as she had previously claimed. Asked by a lawyer if she’d ever had “an intimate relationship” with Luke, Kesha responded, “No.” She later stated, “Dr. Luke never gave me coke,” and answered in the negative when asked if he’d ever given her a “roofie.” This information directly contradicts Kesha’s previous claims that Luke had drugged and raped her on several occasions. However, Kesha’s lawyers issued a statement earlier today saying that the singer had waited so long to file a lawsuit because she was afraid of repercussions from Luke. TMZ reports that Braun bailed on the deposition in order to avoid being humiliated by the same hard-nosed lawyer that questioned Justin. Specifically, Scooter is concerned that lawyers for the photographer who was allegedly assaulted by Bieber’s bodyguard last year will ask Braun if he’s ever seen Justin use steroids. Reportedly fearing that video of his deposition would be leaked to TMZ (as it almost certainly would) Braun was a no-show for today’s proceedings, and he instead sent his lawyer, who delivered documents requesting a guarantee that the footage be kept under wraps. Smart move from a smart guy. Braun and Bieber’s partnership dates back to 2006 when the then-unknown music producer and talent agent discovered the Canadian crooner on YouTube. The accountants say Rihanna’s at fault, and that she’s been blowing off the deposition repeatedly, costing them massive sums in attorneys’ fees.
