Catelynn Baltierra will be home for at least one holiday. The troubled Teen Mom star, who missed sharing Christmas with her family because she was seeking professional help in rehab, has confirmed some positive news via Twitter: She’s outta there! “I’m going home tomorrow!” wrote Catelynn on Friday, adding: “So excited for the future and seeing my family!! Six weeks of treatment and I feel good! Gotta work it when I get home thanks for all your support.” The mother of two precious kids (one girl, Carly, was given up for adoption) concluded her Tweet with the hashtag “KeepTalkingMH.” We’re pretty sure that stands for Keep Talking Mental Health because Lowell did not enter rehab for any substance abuse problem. She instead acknowledged the need for assistance due to a disturbing abundance of suicidal thoughts. Back in mid-November, the MTV star surprised fans and concerned them greatly when she Tweeted the following: Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast. She tagged the wife of late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington in her Tweet because the Linkin Park singer, who lived with Depression most of his adult life, had recently committed suicide at the time. Thankfully, fans responded to the 25-year old at the time with messages of support. And the same held true of her husband, Tyler. “It’s going to be a rough holiday without being able to kiss her & tells her how thankful I am for her,” Tyler said on social media the day after Catelynn checked in to rehab, adding: “But we have a strong resilience crafter by our past, we got this!” A couple weeks ago, rumors circulated that Catelynn was thinking of leaving her treatment facility against doctor’s orders. She did then exit on December 14, just prior to the 30-day mark, only to return several days later. No one is quite sure what happened there and why, although one report has claimed Lowell simply missed her daughter. Fortunately, though, Catelynn has at least admitted she can’t overcome her mental health problems on her own. Back in 2016, shortly after giving birth to Nova, Catelynn also sought rehabilitation help for post-partum depression and anxiety. She’s struggled with Depression for at least a few years. Why are fans hopeful that this time the assistance will take? We sadly can’t say for sure. No one is ever fully cured of a mental illness. But Lowell has sounded more open than ever before about relying on others and focusing on a bright future. “I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better,” she wrote back when entering rehab last month. Christmas at Ryan’s Though little Bentley obviously had some fun with his mom, he also spent some holiday time with his father, Ryan, and his stepmom, Mackenzie. Who, by the way, is just like 11 years older than him. Weird! 4. Sending Love from Indiana Amber recently opened up about how her depression kept her from seeing her daughter, Leah, for months, but it looks like they were able to spend some quality time together for Christmas! 5. Meanwhile in Michigan … Catelynn is still in rehab, but Tyler was able to make their daughter’s Christmas special anyway! T hey promised us a shocking death was coming for The Walking Dead Season 8, mid-season finale and they delivered. Episode 8 titled “How It’s Gotta Be” was definitely an hour plus nerve-wracking experience and it didn’t help we knew someone was going to die. There was plenty of action, suspense with a heavy amount of foreshadowing as we waited to find out which beloved character was going to bite the dust. All of the turmoil in the form of Negan and his Saviors that was unleashed upon the Alexandrians and Hilltoppers is a direct result of Daryl not being patient and following Rick’s plan. The Saviors were absolutely pissed that they were trapped in The Sanctuary. But who knew the sacrifice would be so great and the one who would suffer again the most is Rick. While Negan is burning down Alexandria, Rick is racing back to warn them but it’s already too late. His son, Carl is in charge and is trying to get the Alexandrians to safety. Once they leave Carl mans up faces Negan and offers his own life as a sacrifice to give his people time to escape. At first, it just seemed like a ploy but as it played out Carl was really trying to end his life, no seriously he really was. WTF Carl! Carl hops down and is on his own against an army of Saviors led by Negan who are destroying everything on site looking for him. Carl manages to dodge all of the explosions and Negan but his well being remains a mystery. Rick finally arrives back in town frantically searching for his family and finds Negan waiting in his house. They immediately engage in a serious brawl and if we are sure folks thought this might be it for Rick. The fight ends when Negan pushes Rick through a window. So we don’t lose either Rick or Negan at this point. Also, Michonne decided to stick around as well so that also gave fans the impression that damn we might lose our favorite katana wielding bad ass. We just didn’t know who was going to go, but boy did we quickly learn. Michonne and Rick are finally reunited when he finds her chopping up a Savior who made the mistake of trying to kill her. They head back to the sewer and we see a good portion of the Alexandrians have made out alive. Rick is searching for his family and he sees Judith but no Carl. Time to start panicking, he makes it to the end and he sees the lone survivor he scared off in the sewer. Then Carl speaks out and says he brought him to Alexandria. Whew, Carl is alive well sort of, as we get a closer look at Carl he is very pale and we all know what the look means. Carl has a bite, but did it happen while he was trying to escape The Saviors or did he suffer the bit when he was “releasing walkers”? It was a sad moment and the internet quickly reacted to sad moment. In a surprising, heartbreaking turn of events, Catelynn Lowell announced to fans that she'd be seeking treatment after having some suicidal thoughts yesterday. This isn't the first time she's experienced big issues with her mental health — far from it. But the fact that we've seen her go through this before doesn't make it any easier to see this time around. See why Catelynn felt the need to get help again, and what led her to this place, below … 1. The Beginning Catelynn has dealt with depression and anxiety for as long as she’s been famous — which makes sense, given her childhood. Her mother, April, was an emotionally abusive addict, and when Catelynn made the difficult decision to place her baby for adoption, she received nothing but criticism and ridicule from nearly everyone in her life. 2. Moving Forward In the years after giving birth that first time around, Catelynn tried to improve herself, but again, her mother was just unbelievably horrible towards her. Like, remember when she went shopping for her prom dress and her mom told her she looked ugly and called her a bitch? Things like that leave scars, no joke. 3. A NEW Beginning After several years together, Catelynn and Tyler welcomed their daughter, adorable little Nova, in January of 2015. It was a beautiful time, since they’d obviously struggled so much with the decision to place Carly for adoption. 4. Postpartum Depression Unfortunately, Catelynn developed a particularly devastating case of postpartum depression after having Nova — and as we saw on Teen Mom OG, it nearly destroyed her. 5. Hard Times It took over a year for Catelynn to seek help with her depression. In that time, we saw her barely able to get out of bed or get off the couch, and it seemed like her relationship with Tyler suffered for it. 6. As you may recall, Rob was hospitalized following flare ups in his diabetes symptoms, which have wreaked havoc on him over the last month. It’s also been a factor in his depression through the years.
