Man Wins $86 Million Powerball Jackpot According to Mail Online A Minnesota man came forward Thursday to claim his share of a $448 million Powerball jackpot, one of the largest in history. Paul White, father of two from Ham Lake, strode into a Minneapolis press conference in along with beaming girlfriend Kim VanRees to receive a giant replica check made out for $149 million, the pre-tax amount he’ll split with two other still unnamed winners. ‘It’s crazy,’ said the 45-year-old. ‘I’ve gone through this in my mind so many times. You almost feel like it’s coming true.’ The project engineer opted for a lump sum and will therefor take home $86 million after taxes. The divorced dad made no mention of his ex-wife, nor has the mother of his son and daughter come forward with her own feelings about her ex’s win. While White’s new partner VanRees appeared overjoyed, his boss Ron Bowen was also on hand and White joked he ‘is going to end the day as my chauffeur.’ White told reporters he intends to pursue charitable endeavors, help out his parents, and buy his son the car of his dreams. As surprised as he was with the huge news he is a newly crowned millionaire, White said he always had a hunch he’d be a winner one day. The father of two teens said he played the lottery around once a month or when the the jackpot was especially big, though he said he was always ‘more of a scratch-off guy.’ He also said he nearly forgot to get tickets this week. Lucky for him, he remembered and bought $10 worth. White said he checked the 10 tickets he bought and realized he had nailed all six numbers on one of them. The ensuing hours, he said, had been a blur. ‘It’s just surreal at this point. I don’t think you guys can understand — it’s crazy. No worries anymore. It’s crazy,’ he said. Must be nice to have $86 Million to play with.

Dayum, she went there with Kris Jenner . Kim Kardashian’s Ex-Stepmom Sues For Defamation The stepmom better be careful. If Kanye, Lamar and Kris come to see her, it’s a wrap. According to TMZ Kim Kardashian’s ex-stepmom Ellen Kardashian has just sued Kris Jenner and the Kardashian sisters for defamation, claiming the K-fam is on a mission to make her look like a bitter gold digger — when they’re the ones who should be ashamed of themselves. Ellen filed the suit against Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Rob, and even Ryan Seacrest Productions — insisting the girls and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” producers attempted to ensnare her in a recent plot line on the show, involving a private investigator attempting to hawk damaging information about the Kardashians. According to the lawsuit, the investigator attempted to sell the information to Ellen — in order to make her look like some kind of black mailing scumbag — but Ellen refused to take the bait. Ellen says the Kardashians trashed her on the show anyway, making up lies about her to fit their anti-Ellen agenda, such as accusing Ellen of marrying Kim’s dad Robert Kardashian for his money — and Ellen’s lawsuit gets downright nasty. Ellen — who was married to Robert Kardashian before he died — calls Kris Jenner a “manipulative and devious mother and ex-wife who simply used and exploited her children.” She also calls the family’s careers meaningless. FYI, the feud between Ellen and the Kardashians has been raging for years … it’s nothing new. Ellen is suing for unspecified damages. Calls to the Kardashians weren’t returned. Good News: Usher’s Oldest Son Laughing, Eating And Smiling After Near-Death Pool Accident

Usher, we’re glad to hear this. Usher’s Son Doing Well After Near-Death Accident According to TMZ Now that their son is okay, maybe Usher and Tameka can work out custody. Almost tragedies like this are supposed to bring a family closer. Usher’s 5-year-old son is showing miraculous signs of improvement after nearly drowning in a pool the other day — in fact, we’re told he’s already sitting up in bed at the hospital, eating, laughing, and talking to people … BUT, it may be days before he’s released. Sources close to the family tell us, Usher Raymond V is still in the ICU — where he’s being kept in a private area — he’s expected to be released in the next couple of days. According to sources, the boy’s mother Tameka — Usher’s ex-wife — hasn’t left the hospital since the accident. As we reported, Tameka blames Usher for putting their son in an environment that led to the near-drowning accident on Monday. She has already filed legal docs seeking primary custody. Must be awkward with Tameka and Usher in the same room with him knowing she is trying to strip him of custody. We wish Usher Raymond V the best with his recovery.

According to US Magazine Is a reconciliation in the works? Robsten fans will be pleased to learn that Robert Pattinson reportedly reunited with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart at her Los Feliz home last week. On Monday, Aug. 5, X17 posted exclusive photos of the 27-year-old Twilight hunk parking outside his former love’s house. Pattinson apparently attempted to keep a low profile by driving a white Durango with an out of state license plate. “Rob looked nervous on his way to visit Kristen,” the photographer told X17. “He was trying to be discreet so no one would see him.” The Rover actor ended his four year relationship with Stewart, 23, in May, after struggling to move past her July 2012 filing with director Rupert Sanders. Pattinson was spotted moving his possessions out of Stewart’s home in a pickup truck on May 19. Since then, an insider told Us Weekly that Pattinson has been “hanging out and hooking up” with longtime pal, Riley Keough. “She’s the first girl he’s liked since Kristen,” a source said of the 24-year-old granddaughter of the late Elvis Presley. “[They’re] having a lot of fun.” But after taking some time apart from Stewart, perhaps a reconciliation is possible? A source tells Us, “They stayed friends and have always kept in touch.” If they do get back together, do you think it will last?

Lawyer Says Illegal Cavity Search Is Standard Policy Lawyer representing women who faced “unconstitutional” cavity searches of their genitals at traffic stops in Texas last year have said that the practice is essentially standard practice in many jurisdictions. In two separate cases last year, four women said that they were humiliated with illegal cavity searches on the side of Texas highways. Angel Dobbs, 38, and her 24-year-old niece, Ashley Dobbs were searched after a trooper saw them throw a cigarette butt out the car window. And Brandy Hamilton, 27, and Alexandria Randle, 26, were searched after a trooper claimed he smelled marijuana. “It’s ridiculous,” Dallas attorney and former police officer Peter Schulte told The New York Daily News. “We would never put our hands anywhere near someone’s private parts… When I saw that video I was shocked. I was a law enforcement officer for 16 years and I’ve never seen anything like it.” “I think the Department of Public Safety is trying to figure out who in the world trained these troopers to think that this is OK,” Schulte added. “The law just doesn’t support that. It just doesn’t.” Texas Civil Rights Project Director Jim Harrington explained that the two incidents showed that there was “some sort of policy” within the department advocating body cavity searches. “It’s such a prohibited practice,” Harrington said. “I don’t know why they think they can do this. Tawana Brawley Starts Paying Debt According to Mail Online A woman who lied about being gang-forced sexed 26 years ago has finally begun to pay back an innocent man whose reputation she left in tatters. In January, former New York prosecutor Steven Pagones filed court papers seeking the $431,000 he is owed by Tawana Brawley, who, as a 15-year-old, falsely labeled him a ‘gang-fore sexing, kidnapping racist.’ Last week, Brawley sent him her first payment – 10 checks totaling $3,764.61 – after the Virginia court ordered the money garnisheed from the nurse’s wages. It comes 15 years after a court ruled that she defamed him with her nasty hoax. ‘It’s a long time coming,’ Pagones, 52, told The New York Post. The ex-prosecutor said he remains more interested in extracting a confession from Brawley than the money she owes. ‘Every week, she’ll think of me. And every week, she can think about how she has a way out — she can simply tell the truth.’ Brawley’s advisers in the case — the Reverend Al Sharpton, and attorneys C. Vernon Mason and Alton Maddox — have already paid, or are paying their debt to Pagones. Until now, Brawley, 41, has refused to pay out but she is now forced to cough up $627 each month to the man who is one of three whose name she dragged through the mud in 1987, possibly for the rest of her life. ‘Finally, she’s paying something,’ Pagones’ attorney, Gary Bolnick told The Post. ‘Symbolically, I think it’s very important — you can’t just do this stuff without consequences.’ She made a mistake back in 1987 and she will have to literally pay for it for the rest of her life. Meanwhile, George Zimmerman kills Trayvon Martin and goes free.

According to TMZ Hip Hop mogul Jermaine Dupri says his bank wined-and-dined him, then treated him like an uneducated idiot in a plot to snatch millions of dollars from him … TMZ has learned. We broke the story … Sun Trust Bank sued the So So Def founder first, claiming he defaulted on a $5 million loan. The bank wanted $2 million for the balance plus interest … AND his entire EMI music catalog. Now, Dupri is firing back with a counter lawsuit … and in the docs, he says he secured a $5 million loan in 2009 with his ST personal banker — a man he’d worked with for years, who was lenient on loan payments and hooked him up with swag: ATL Falcons tickets, dinners, and more. Then, in 2010 Dupri claims his personal banker took advantage of his lack of education (he didn’t finish high school) and told him he had to quickly sign a NEW loan agreement, assuring him it was for his benefit. But Dupri says in fact the new terms increased his loan payments without his knowledge. As a result … he defaulted, and had to sell off his music catalog and his studio to settle with the bank. This ain’t chump change on the line — according to JD his studio was worth $2.5 million, and his catalog … $20 million! Jermaine has made too many hits to be broke and taking out loans.
