Mashable tries to get to the bottom of the hilarious internet incident… If you Google “Trump Tower,” you’ll see a pin labelled “Dump Tower” on Fifth Avenue. Don’t expect it to stay that way for long, though. Changing a landmark name appears to be a manual process that needs authorisation from an employee. According to Google’s instructions, changes to the map database are reviewed by hand, so theoretically, someone would have had to deliberately hit “confirm” on Dump Tower. We salute you!

Fry…his….azz… Judge Says Dylann Roof Is Competent To Stand Trial A judge has thrown out any possibility that Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof could get off with an insanity plea. Today, November 25, Judge Gergel ruled that Roof is competent to stand trial for gunning down 9 black people in a horrific hate crime. WCNC reports: Dylann Roof, the white man accused of killing nine African-Americans in a Charleston church has been declared competent to stand trial. Judge Gergel made the declaration around 9:30 a.m. Friday. The jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday. Roof, 22, has been federally indicted on 33 counts related to nine murders in the June 2015 killings, some of those charges drawing on hate crime laws. Authorities say he walked into a Wednesday night Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and opened fire. South Carolina lawmakers answered by ridding its statehouse grounds of the Confederate flag. Prosecutors are now trying to narrow down the jury pool that started at 3,000 and now stands at 512. 12 jurors will determine Roof’s fate in his death penalty trial. Faithless Electors Refuse To Vote Trump, Want Others To Follow Suit America isn’t just gonna go quietly into the night and allow Donald Trump and his bigoted administration to take over the government. As some of you might remember, we reported weeks ago that several electors had already vowed not to vote for Donald regardless of the outcome in their state. Today, there are a total of 6 “faithless electors” who have come forward and they are working to convince others to withhold a Trump vote prior to the official casting on December 19th according to Politico . Obviously it’s VERY unlikely that these men and women could swing enough voters to turn the election on it’s head, but the idea is to challenge the electoral system so staunchly that it brings forth change, and possible elimination, for future elections. “I do think that a byproduct would be a serious look into Electoral College reform,” said Micheal Baca, a Democratic elector from Colorado who is spearheading the anti-Trump effort, along with Washington state elector P. Bret Chiafalo. “If it gets into the House, the controversy and the uncertainty that would immediately blow up into a political firestorm in the U.S. would cause enough people — my hope is — to look at the whole concept of the Electoral College,” said another elector involved in the anti-Trump planning, who declined to be identified. What these folks are plotting is unprecedented in United States history. “If you could get eight or 10 Trump electors to vote for someone else … then that would probably get people’s attention,” said George Edwards III, a political science professor and Electoral College expert at Texas A&M University. “We haven’t ever had that many faithless electors in one election.” In order to reverse the outcome of the election, Democrats would have to convince 37 Republicans to not vote for Donald. Which is extremely unlikely to happen. This isn’t to get your hopes up that Hillz will be taking the oath of office on January 20th, but it is a silver lining that reflects the will of the people and the power we still have to combat the evil that Donald has planned for us as a nation. T.I.P. Sues Over His Scales 925 Restaurant Remember when we told you that T.I.’s Scales 925 restaurant was facing claims of bounced checks and mismanagement leading to Tip to call it a “mistake” ??? Well T.I. recently filed court docs against the previous owners of the establishment for allegedly owing him and his business partners $1.7 million after Tip remodeled the location only to find that the previous owners changed the locks. TheJasmineBrand reports: Scales 925 Atlanta LLC. – the company behind the rapper’s restaurant – filed suit against The Social Life Restaurant Group, The Venue Restaurant Corp. and Tyler Williams. The suit describes the defendants as owners/operators of a poorly run, financial ruined ATL club named Vibe. Around 2014, the owners approached members of Scales 925 seeking investors, asking for money to pay off their numerous debts and promising a huge return. They invested $1.7 million dollars+ to pay off numerous debts and remodel the entire restaurant and reopen it as Scales 925 in June 2015. The deal stated Scales 925 would be paid 75% interest in the net profits generated in the future from Vibe’s (or other named restaurant) operations. The defendants maintained 25% control and were responsible for managing the lease, dealing with the landlord and maintenance of all necessary licensing requirements for food and business licenses. Both parties agreed to close Vibe for several months to significantly makeover the club and plaintiffs spent over $1.6 million to remodel. SMH…Tip and his partners are asking that the space previously known as Scales 925 be shut down and that the defendants pay $1.7 million along with legal fees. Y I K E S, this is a mess.
