Solange Joins Black-Owned Financial Institution With many African Americans looking for ways to make a statement in light of recent events , many are looking into investing their cash in Black-owned institutions instead of major banks. Now, Solange Knowles decided to “put her money where her mouth is” and help lead the charge. Solo announced over the weekend that she was researching financial institutions owned and operated by African Americans to which she could transfer her funds in support and to make a stance. Nice! Joe Paterno Knew Of Jerry Sandusky’s Pedo Ways Back In 1976 A victim claims former Penn State coach Joe Paterno knew of Sandusky’s pedo ways back in 1976 after coming to him about an alleged sexual assault in a shower according to TIME Magazine : A man who claims Jerry Sandusky sexually abused him in 1976 says in newly unsealed court documents that he told Penn State football Coach Joe Paterno about the incident the very next day, and Paterno responded callously. The man identified as John Doe 150 testified in October 2014 that about six other boys in a shower heard him yell that Sandusky had sexually penetrated him with a finger. A judge unsealed extensive records Tuesday from Penn State’s insurance litigation over coverage of Sandusky-related claims. John Doe 150 says he told several adults about the incident, then sought out Paterno to tell him what occurred. He says Paterno’s response was that he didn’t want to hear about it and had a football season to worry about. Really Sandusky??

Carmelo Anthony Makes Public Stance Against Police Brutality Carmelo Anthony has joined the small ranks of sports stars to speak out against the heinous acts of police brutality that have occurred within the last week — followed by an act of terror against police in Dallas, Texas. Whereas many athletes have been slow to speak, Carmelo is calling on his fellow sportsmen to stand up and rise together to use their recognition and influence to denounce what’s happening and work toward solutions. Two Florida Men Arrested After Bragging On Facebook About Burglary Two Florida men have been arrested and a third is still on the run after they were busted bragging on Facebook Live Video according to NBC Miami reports: Raderius Glenn Collins, 18, and Marcus Terrell Parker, 27, were arrested on multiple charges including burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief and dealing in stolen property in the crime spree that brought them more than $500,000 worth of jewelry, police said. Police say Collins, Parker and a third man burglarized a house in the 13200 block of Southwest 63rd Court and a home on the 6300 block of 107th Street in Pinecrest. The burglars stole a safe from one home with jewelry valued at more than $500,000 and jewelry valued at more than $10,000 from another. Authorities are looking for a third suspect who was seen on a Facebook video with a bag full of $100 bills bragging about their illegal earnings, saying on camera “We got a safe.” One of the men arrested told police that he and the other two subjects sold the stolen jewelry to a shop and received $1,300 each in return. Drake Drags Troll To Hell For Sick Comment About Deceased Friend Anton Yelchin We recently reported the sad news of after ‘Star Trek’ star Anton Yelchin was found dead in his driveway after a freak accident involving his Jeep. According TMZ : Actor Anton Yelchin, known for his roles in “Star Trek” and “Alpha Dog,” was killed early Sunday morning after getting pinned by his own car … TMZ has learned. Yelchin’s friends became alarmed because he was supposed to meet them hours earlier for a rehearsal. They went to his San Fernando Valley home at around 1 AM and found him pinned between his car and a brick mailbox pillar, which was attached to a security gate. Law enforcement tells us the engine was running when his body was discovered, and the car was in neutral. The driveway was on a fairly steep incline. It’s unclear why he got out of the car.
