The report was created 10 days after the fact and surprise, surprise…there’s almost nothing in it. SMH. Ferguson, MO Police Department Make Delayed Mike Brown Incident Report Public Well at long last, here’s all that “ additional information ” police sympathizers have been urging us to wait for. What a big shocker…there is none. Via TIME : Nearly two weeks after Michael Brown’s death, a police report on the shooting has finally been made public. But the glaring lack of detail is likely to increase widespread criticism that the law-enforcement community is closing ranks around Darren Wilson, the officer who fatally shot Brown on Aug. 9. The incident report, filed by the St. Louis County police department, contains no new information on the encounter between Brown and Wilson. There are no written details about the event. As a result, the officer’s account of what transpired when the two men met just after noon on Aug. 9 remains a mystery. And it will be for some time, according to Brian Schellman, a spokesman for the St. Louis County police department. Schellman told TIME that the department does not intend to release the “investigative” component of the incident report, the part that details Wilson’s version of events. Schellman said that under the Missouri State “Sunshine” Law, the department was not required to release the information during a pending investigation. As a result, Wilson’s account of what happens will remain confidential unless it is presented by a prosecutor, Schellman said. “We will not release it,” said Schellman, who noted that this is the county’s normal procedure. “This isn’t any different than a typical larceny from a local convenience store.” Wilson never filed a report on the incident, according to the office of the St. Louis County prosecutor. The case was quickly turned over to the county at the request of local police. According to the document, the St. Louis County police entered the incident report on Aug. 19, 10 days after the shooting. It was approved for release the following morning. The bare facts of the incident report were made public after the ACLU of Missouri filed a lawsuit demanding the public documents, as pursuant to Missouri’s Sunshine Law. Why it took so long for the department to comply, considering the lack of information contained in the documented, is unclear. The ACLU could not immediately be reached for comment. So…the Ferguson Police Department has essentially said “F*** you, we don’t have to explain our side of the story.” Wow. Is this honestly how little Black life matters in this country???
As a St. Louis native, he knows the Ferguson community well. John Hamm Speaks On Protests In Ferguson With so many celebs quick to spout a lot of Black community blame and “ what about (insert irrelevant topic here)??” nonsense around the events occurring in Ferguson, it’s a little refreshing to see a celeb who speaks on behalf of those seeking justice rather than deflecting . Via USAToday : Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, a St. Louis native, says he hopes “cooler heads prevail” in the Missouri city of Ferguson and that “people come through it for the better.” Hamm, who’s in London to promote his latest movie, Million Dollar Arm, told reporters he has a special reason for speaking out about the unrest in the St. Louis suburb since the fatal shooting earlier this month of an African-American teen, Michael Brown, by a white Ferguson police officer. Hamm said the situation there is “difficult to watch because it’s my hometown.” But he said he supports the protesters. He says, “They have a legitimate reason to protest and they’re exercising their right to do that and so hopefully, in the end, people will come through it stronger.” He said cities should not “be measured on how they have failed, but how they get through and how they clean up after their mistakes.” Sounds like he sides with the protesters…but still doesn’t want to step too far into it. What do you think of his statement?
Who is still smashing this chick? Karrine Superhead Steffans Announces New Tell-All On Social Media Karrine “Superhead” Steffans came into infamy when her 2005 Book “Confessions of a Video Vixen” hit stands and turned the rap game on its head with her explicit tales of whoring her way through the Hip Hop industry, naming names and giving dates and locations. She spring-boarded a rash of similar tattletale nonfiction and even taught put some newbies on to game in the process. Now, nearly a decade later , Superhead says she’s on her way back to bookstores…we assume to recount even more of her vaginal misadventures: Seriously…10 years later and she hasn’t written about anything other than the whos, whats, whens, wheres, and hows of her lady business? Maybe this book will go deeper than her last three, but with her focus on vengeance it seems like she’ll just be ushering more people’s private business to front street. Will you be grabbing a copy?

They’re just going to have to replace the entire cast at this rate… Whoopi Goldberg Looking To Leave ‘The View’ Never one to mince words or share even the most unpopular of opinions , Whoopi Goldberg has been a near-perfect fit for The View for over a decade. But now, according to RadarOnline , she feels boxed in by the program and wants out: Even though Whoopi Goldberg just signed a four-year contract as a co-host on ABC’s The View, a source tells The National ENQUIRER that Goldberg wants out! “Whoopi regrets roping herself in like that and is trying to figure a way out,” said a source close to Goldberg. “She wants to do other projects and feels network honchos are holding her back.” According to one report, Goldberg dissed The View’s executive producer and founder Barbara Walters, who retired in May, following a screening of potential replacements. Goldberg allegedly snapped, “I’ve been working with a cranky 85-year-old woman who’s been mad about everything for 2 years, and I need a break,” referring to Walters. After co-hosts Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd were forced out, and it was announced recently that controversial host Rosie O’Donnell will return, Goldberg doesn’t trust anyone that’s left on the hit show. “Whoopi will miss working with Sherri Shepherd, whom she mentored,” the source told The ENQUIRER. Well everyone she could possibly need a real break from — Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd, Jenny McArthy — are all gone now. Seems like she could steer the show’s direction with the new people coming in. What do you think? Should she stay?
“We’re the monster now that refuses to be dismissed, overlooked & ignored…” T.I. Rants About Ferguson On Instagram After at first saying protestors were too quick to react to the unarmed shooting death of Mike Brown, T.I. has released a lengthy rant about black people becoming a “monster” based on years of oppression and racism in America.
