North West Becomes A Cover Girl At Age 5!!

Move over fam!  North West may be too young for a boyfriend , but she is not too young to be a cover girl.  The 5-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has landed her first modeling gig!  And it is absolutely adorable. You can find little Nori on her first solo cover for WWD’s issue about Generation Z , titled “Keeping Up With the Future.” Not to anyone’s surprise, Kim helped style her own daughter for the shoot, showing off North’s rainbow Dr. Marten boots, a bright pink tunic top and even pink eyeshadow!  “My most stylish and beautiful baby girl North shot her 1st cover for @wwd !!!!” Kim wrote alongside pictures from the photo shoot. “She loves fashion & beauty and has so much fun doing this!” The reality star also took to Twitter to share her excitement, “I’m seriously so proud of my Northie! She picked her looks and eyeliner color and is so involved and loves fashion & beauty so much so she has the best time at her @wwd shoot!” “Kanye & I always say she’s Kristen Crawley’s style twin.” “All she wanted was nachos on shoot day and we made that happen!” Kim went on to tell her followers.  “Thank you @wwd for capturing these amazing memories for her.”  WWD also shared their thoughts on their youngest cover girl:  “At five years old, North West, the famous daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has captivated the digital realm with her cross-generational appeal,” WWD wrote. “Without a public Instagram or YouTube channel of her own, she’s too young to fully understand what a digital footprint is. And yet, hers is already wildly popular.” The outlet continued to praise North for her distinct fashion sense and impressive eye makeup skills. As if she had no guidance from her makeup obsessed family members.   “West, whether she knows it or not, is at the forefront of a generation that is highly connected, engaged with fashion and beauty and individualistic in style,” said the fashion magazine.  “Called Alpha, signifying a new beginning, this age group is unlike any the world has ever seen.” Forget Millennials, Gen. Z is taking over! (particularly the ones with important parents) Kendall Jenner, who is the family’s most “skilled” member , if you will, due to her successful modeling career, tweeted “North is giving me a run for my money that’s for sure” after seeing her niece’s cute photos.  And while most little girls stick to dressing up their dolls, North isn’t playing pretend.  I mean come on, she’s so Vogue.  View Slideshow: 13 Times Kim Kardashian Has Dressed Up Her Daughter

We’ve watched North West grow on Instagram and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and magazines — here, she poses for her first solo cover. Her distinct fashion sense belies her age, and lately, so does her eye for makeup. Called Alpha, signifying a new beginning, this age group is unlike any the world has ever seen. And combined with Gen Z, their slightly older counterparts, their numbers are strong. ‘Red Dead Online’ Beta Update To Highlight Trolls To Curb Destructive Behavior

Original post:

Source: Rockstar Games / Red Dead Online Beta Rockstar Games right now is basking in the success of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the steady but cautious rollout of Red Dead Online beta. Listening to feedback from gamers, the studio is rolling out a massive update that aims to tackle some of the online component’s most significant issues. While it did not stumble out the gate like Grand Theft Auto Online , Red Dead Online had a much smoother introduction but has suffered from some in-game issues since its November launch . Players were quick to point out the lack of missions, problems with the in-game economy and players hell bent on just being destructive trolls in the game or as some describe it “grieving.” To combat those issues, Rockstar announced a massive update coming February 26 that will hopefully improve Red Dead Online . New features and more coming to the Red Dead Online Beta on Feb 26th with new improvements and enhancements to the game’s open world, including a new Law and Bounty system, weapons balancing, changes to player blips on the mini-map and more. https://t.co/MOSaXStj7m pic.twitter.com/huXgpk4Dcd — Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) February 12, 2019 First, we will focus on “grieving” and how that main issue alone took the fun out of Red Dead Online . Being a Black gamer, of course, my character in the game reflects that. The minute my created character stepped foot in the digital Wild West I was greeted with racial slurs and regularly killed and chased down by white players. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve experienced racism while gaming before but when you play Red Dead Online it just feels too real,. In speaking with The Verge’s Patricia Hernandez who wrote a piece about Black players enduring racist nonsense myself others detailed our experiences within the game. “I remember a player actually saying ‘get that nigger’ with a Western twang to his voice,” Smalls says. “It was like they felt they have the perfect game to do so.” I would dread playing the game alone opting to only hop on with friends in hopes to deter trolls from aggressively targeting me. Now the game does allow you to initiate a parlay with that person who is hellbent on killing you, but Rockstar will take things even further. The upcoming update will now reduce your visibility or blip over long distances only revealing your location on the map to players within 150 meters of you. Your position will only be shown if you’re firing your weapon. This new feature aims to stop people from continually targeting you from long distances. Now if you are one of those players who like to cause trouble on the regular the new system will highlight your over-aggressive play by darkening your dot on the map. The only way to make your visibility fade is by good behavior but if you keep killing innocent players and horses a bounty will be placed on your head, and NPC bounty hunters will track you down this also another new feature coming with the update.  Another much-needed improvement is the ability to parlay with an entire posse because of course trolls run in gangs. Last but not least there some bug fixes and minor improvements as well as the introduction of daily challenges such as foraging for herbs, selling items at a Fence, hunting, and skinning animals, clearing hideouts, winning feuds and so much more that will reward players with gold nuggets and XP. Rockstar says it will continue to expand and evolve the challenges over time. This sounds like a step in the right direction, and I personally applaud Rockstar for listening and taking some sort of action to make Red Dead Online fun for EVERYONE. — Photo: Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2

The Rewind: ‘Glass’ Comes With A ‘Trigger Warning’

Source: iOne Digital, The Rewind / IOne Digital Video Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise return with another week of your favorite series, Global Grind’s “The Rewind”. Like we always do at this time, we’re giving you your much-needed dose of recap reality. Every week we revisit some of the pop culture trends, movies, viral moments and music from the week before and give our hot takes. Our experts Landon Lavarius and DJ Franchise share their opinions, sprinkle in some facts and then when it’s all over and done with, provide a rating of 1 to 10. We listen to the songs, watch the movies, scour the internet, and do the hard work so you don’t have to. This week, Landon and Franchise will be discussing the M. Night Shyamalan flick, Glass . The film is a sequel to the previous movies,  Unbreakable , which came out in 2000, and Split , which was released in 2016. It stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and of course, James McAvoy, who reprises his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within. Glass hit theaters on January 18, 2019, and was met with mixed reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a mere 36% score while IMDB was more forgiving with a 7 out of 10 rating. Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise got to check out the movie and rate it for themselves. Knowing what you know about how hard these two are to please, what do you think they thought of Glass ? Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise also dig into the new Netflix series, Trigger Warning , hosted by Killer Mike. Trigger Warning hit the Netflix platform on January 18 as well. On the show, the Atlanta native uses various scenarios to confront important social issues and cultural taboos. The first season of the show is six episodes long and has already picked up steam on social media. An episode in which Killer Mike teaches a young grade school student about white privilege quickly went viral just hours after Trigger Warning was available for streaming on Netflix. Killer Mike uses nontraditional approaches to explore the human condition and examine the “what ifs” and “why nots” that limit how people operate in the world. Social media is already fascinated with the show but do you think Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise were feeling it? Our resident critics share their thoughts on the new show and let us know whether or not it’s worth the hype. Find out what they rated these topics and more when you press play on episode 29 of The Rewind up above.

WELP: Tekashi 6ix9ine Pleads Guilty To 8 Federal Counts, Facing 47 Years In Prison

Source: @JustInMyView / R1 Digital Tekashi 6ix9ine Pleads Guilty Looks like things are a wrap for Tekashi 69x9ine. TMZ reports that the rapper who was arrested in November on racketeering and firearm charges has pleaded guilty to EIGHT counts. The counts include; multiple counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. Tekashi did not plead guilty however to a charge involving an April 3, 2018 robbery of rivals of the Nine Trey gang. As previously r eported prosecutors claimed that he fired a gun while committing a crime and the charge for that carries a possible life sentence with a mandatory minimum of 25 years served. They alleged that he and his manager Shottie and two other Blood Gang members robbed rival gang members at gunpoint. In the newly unsealed court docs, prosecutors claim the rapper was involved in dealing heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy, amphetamines, and marijuana, and conspired multiple acts of murder, robbery, and extortion. If you’re curious about the “Dummy Boy’s” fate, you’ll have to wait—he won’t be sentenced until January 2020. The DailyNews reports however that he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 47 years in prison, but could get less for his cooperation. “In the fall of 2017, I met and joined the Nine Trey Blood Gang. As a member of Nine Trey, the enterprise engaged in such activities including shooting at people, robbing people, and at times drug trafficking,” said Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez. He said that on March 20, 2018 he “helped members of NineTrey attempt to kill a rival gang member.” The following month he helped fellow gangsters rob a rival, he said. WELP, so much for that. Someone’s going to jail—PERIOD.
