Killer Nudity News from Manson Girls Tania Raymonde and Brit Morgan

Last month on the Mr. Skin blog we reported on the titillating thespians, Taryn Manning and Monica Keena , who have been cast as two of Charlie’s naked angels in the upcoming killer hippie epic Manson Girls . Now Lost babe Tania Raymonde , who is playing Leslie Van Houten , and True Blood alum Brit Morgan , making her nude debut as Patricia Krenwinkel , are talking Helter Skelter with Manson Girls director Susanna Lo on horror site Stay Thirsty, and it looks like Tania and Brit will be getting nude as well! Susanna Lo: You are both young and upcoming actresses on the big and small screens. Some of your older and more experienced co-stars have admitted to avoiding nudity and strong sexuality early in their careers. Do either of you have a concern about doing the girl-on-girl sex scenes between your characters or the group sex scenes at such an early stage of your career? Tania Raymonde: You can’t make a movie about the Manson girls without showing how the girls related to one another. They shared sexual connections as well as emotional ones. They were coerced and brainwashed into group sex situations that they more or less enjoyed. Sex was the glue that held their family together. It’s important to show how these girls lived. I’m only portraying a character as accurately as I can, as I would with any role. As far as the nudity is concerned, I’ll get over it. Brit Morgan: I have been avoiding nudity, for almost everything, so far in my career as well. So the sex scenes are new territory for me, but I am not as concerned as I imagined I’d be. Probably because this is one of the only films I’ve read where it seems like it’s necessary and integral to the authenticity of the story. Sexuality was such an important factor in the 1960’s and in the lives of these girls, so I am willing to express that part of myself. Girl-girl sex scenes? Group sex? Manson Girls is shaping up to be the grooviest love-in since the dawning of the Age of Aquarius! Until all the, uhm, brutal murders, of course. Stay tuned right here on the Mr. Skin blog for all the newest, nudest news on Manson Girls and other nude movies currently in development!

Great Nude performances: Yumi Takigawa in School of the Holy Beast

When you think about the world’s top producers of nunsploitation, Japan isn’t the first that comes to mind. Italy? Of course, the Pope lives there. Mexico? Sure, they’re all Catholic. But Japan? You bet your sweet ass- or, in this case, the sweet ass of Yumi Takigawa , the sacrelicious star of School of the Holy Beast . This bizarre slice of nude cultural misappropriation comes to you courtesy of Norifumi Suzuki , the director of cunt fu fightin’ classics Sex & Fury and Girl Boss Guerilla , two of the most mam-orable entries in Japanese movie giant Toei sudios’ “pinky violence” line. Though the number of Japanese Catholics is very, very small- just under 0.5% of the population- the titillation factor of ladies of the cloth losing their habits for scenes of bondage, whippings, and lesbian lovin’ proved to be just as appealing in the Land of the Rising Sun as in the shadow of the Vatican. As the 70’s wore on, the nunsplotation craze hit Japan full force with titles like Cloistered Nun: Runa’s Confession and Sins of Sister Lucia , but all these titles owe a debt to School of the Holy Beast , which brought the genre to Japan and created the template for all the blasphemous, bawdy fun to come. Yumi Takigawa stars as Maya, a young woman who joins a mysterious convent to find out what happened to her mother, who died in the care of the nuns years before. What this undercover sister finds is a virtual pressure cooker of suppressed carnal desires, which the lesbian Mother Superior urges her charges to (literally) whip out of themsleves. In one scene, two nuns seeks Sapphic solace in each others’ arms in the bath; in another, two nuns suggestively gorge themselves on fish sausages for want of the man kind. When the Mother Superior catches these two sausage-suckers in the act, she forces them to engage in a topless whip fight as penance. When Yumi’s secret motives for joining the convent are revealed, the nuns bind her with thorny vines and beat her with roses in a beautifully staged scene that is heaven for bondage fans. Is Nicki Minaj A Good Fit For Britney Spears’ Tour? Experts Weigh In

‘If people are going mainly for Britney, they will be excited to see Nicki as well and vice versa,’ one insider tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears Photo: Getty Images After lots of rumors, it was officially announced Tuesday (April 12) that Britney Spears would be bringing along Nicki Minaj (as well as up-and-comers Nervo and Jessie and the Toyboys) on her Femme Fatale tour, kicking off this summer. The Spears/Minaj matchup may not initially make sense, given their very different styles, but according to industry insiders who work on booking talent for venues throughout the country, this really is a match made in heaven. “Bringing [together] two genres of music — one icon and one rising icon — is great for the music business. The combination of Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj on tour together is great for the music industry [and] shows its growing diversity,” Matt Levine of Brandsway Creative, a branding and marketing group in New York City, explained to MTV News. “It gives concertgoers the opportunity to see two independently creative females excelling in their craft and showcasing their talent.” Dawn M. Britt, the director of public relations for the Venetian and Palazzo hotels in Las Vegas, said seeing these ladies on tour together screams girl power. “Both Britney and Nicki give off a very ‘girl power’ attitude, and combining the Femme Fatale and Barbie themes is a smart marketing tool with the all-female tour,” Britt explained. ” … Nicki is a mainstream rapper and collaborates with a lot of pop artists . Their audiences overlap enough that if people are going mainly for Britney, they will be excited to see Nicki as well and vice versa.” Britt said this tour makes tons of sense as it combines “two of the biggest names in music right now. Britney is a legend and in the midst of a huge comeback right now with her new Femme Fatale CD,” she said. “Her recent performance in Vegas was a huge success and really got people excited for the tour. Nicki has been making a name for herself the last few years and is in high demand for collaborations and appearances.” Gary Bongiovanni, editor in chief of Pollstar, explained that Nicki is a good fit for the tour since “that tour likely needs a strong support act, and Nicki is not a bad choice. Options at this late date had to be limited.” He added that since Spears is launching a new phase of her career, “Fan response on an act like Britney … is always a question mark until you put the first shows on sale and the public answers the demand-level question with their wallets.” What do you think of the Britney/Nicki combo? The ladies will also be joined by Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo on the all-female lineup. “This is the Femme Fatale tour, and I’m thrilled to have the hot Nicki Minaj join me and Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will get everyone on the dance floor,” Spears said on her website . “Can’t wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road.” Minaj will join Spears after she wraps up touring with Lil Wayne on his I Am Still Music tour, which finishes up May 1 in New Jersey. Last week, Minaj told to MTV News that she was in talks to join the tour, after rumors began swirling that the sassy Queens MC would be hitting the road with the veteran pop superstar. She tells us what interests her and excites her, and from there, we have [the input of music tour director] Jamie King and [choreographer] Brian Friedman.” What do you think of the Nicki/Britney match-up? Sidney Lumet death at 86

Sidney Lumet, despite having a very Hollywood career, was a New Yorker at heart, and the city he loved was the backdrop for many of his greats, including Serpico (1973) and The Pawnbroker (1964). “Locations are characters in my movies,” he said. “The city is capable of portraying the mood a scene requires.” Sidney Lumet, the director behind American movie classics such as 12 Angry Men, Dog Day Afternoon and The Verdict, died Saturday. He was 86. Lumet died from lymphoma at his home in New Yor

The Game Shoots Apocalyptic Video For ‘Red Nation’

‘It was crazy, man,’ rapper says of Los Angeles shoot with director Parris. By Matt Elias The Game on the set of “Red Nation” Photo: MTV News On Tuesday night, underneath the 4th Street Bridge in downtown Los Angeles, the Game stood surrounded by smoldering dirt and flashing red lights. Smoke billowed in the background and road flares flickered brightly. It wasn’t the scene of an accident, but the post-apocalyptic set for Game’s music video “Red Nation,” the lead single from his long-awaited R.E.D. Album. “We shot this real rebel scene. I was over there in a bunch of dirt with rocks, and behind the gate were a bunch of guys I couldn’t see, looking all menacing and scary and [with] bats and sticks and poles,” Game told MTV News on the set. “And that was kinda crazy, man. I was in sort of like an army fatigue thing, doing my thing. But it was fun, man, the first shot — had a lot of fun, got real sweaty ’cause I was jumping around, man. A lotta dust and smoke — it was crazy, man.” The clip is helmed by director Parris, whose recent work includes Enrique Iglesias’ “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)” and Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Angels.” The track features a collaboration with Lil Wayne and a familiar sample: Zombie Nation’s club classic “Kernkraft 400.” The West Coast rapper was sporting a maroon Mohawk, and while the hairdo is new, his approach to making music videos hasn’t changed. “You know what the funny thing is about the video treatment is that I just go as they tell me — I never read it,” Game said. “And just so you know, I ain’t never read a video treatment for none of my videos. I kinda just show up, I put in whatever the stylists got picked out for me, and then I go meet the director — usually for the first time — and we kind of just go with the flow.” Stay tuned to MTV News for more from our set visit with the Game, along with more details on The R.E.D. ‘Source Code’: Unresolved Questions Answered

Jake Gyllenhaal and director Duncan Jones explain the sci-fi thriller’s trickier moments By Eric Ditzian, with additional reporting by Kara Warner Jake Gyllenhaal in “Source Code” Photo: Summit Entertainment If you’re anything like us, you walked out of “Source Code” with a whole lot of questions on your mind. What exactly is this computer code that sends Jake Gyllenhaal back into the past, in another man’s body? What is the true implication of the film’s twisty ending? With these questions still swirling in our heads, we hit up Gyllenhaal and director Duncan Jones for some answers. (Needless to say, major spoilers exist below). Where Does The Source Code Take Place? So the Source Code is a government computer program that allows Gyllenhaal’s Captain Colter Stevens to jump into another man’s body — a guy named Sean Fentressis, who died in a terrorist train bombing — to experience the final eight minutes of his life in an attempt to prevent the terrorist from detonating a second bomb. But is what Gyllenhaal experiences just a computer simulation? Or is it actually real? “The idea is that it’s a simulator, but it actually opens up access to a parallel reality,” Jones explained. “It literally creates new realities where things can happen in very different ways. Every time Colter is sent into the Source Code, they’re creating a new reality where a new terrorist event occurs. So in a sense, every time Colter fails, they actually created a new terrorist event.” Why’d They Make The Terrorist a Lone Gunman? As Gyllenhaal searches the train for the bomber, he finds himself engaging in more than a little bit of racial profiling. As it turns out, the true culprit is not some clich

Katy Perry’s ‘E.T.’ Video Look Inspired By Jellyfish, Stylist Says

‘I just wanted [Katy] to look really odd … but still fashionable,” Carol Beadle tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry in her “E.T.” music video Photo: Capitol Katy Perry leaves Candyfornia for outer space in her latest video, “E.T.” The otherworldly clip follows an alien woman played by the Teenage Dream singer as she falls to a planet to find her lost extraterrestrial lover. While fans are used to seeing Perry in dresses made from cupcakes and cotton candy, this time around she sports flowing gowns, metal body armor and lots of intricate makeup. Stylist Carol Beadle, who worked with director Floria Sigismondi on the style for the video, explained to MTV News that she wanted to take things to a more “avant-garde” level in the clip. “I just wanted [Katy] to look really odd, unreal if we could, but still fashionable,” she said. “I was looking at jellyfishes and amoebas; those words were constantly used and we wanted it to look like a flash of an amoeba and then it coming to life,” Beadle explained about the video’s fashion inspiration. “It’s like falling to the sky and the amoeba brought in the color palette and I wanted to hit it with a bit of color, so that it would pop. But to make it look 2011, it has to have a context and a reference point.” While Beadle kept Perry in mind when thinking up looks for the video, she also wanted to make sure that the fashions would fit the clip’s themes and story. “I tried to see her body type and her personality and how she’s perceived but, really, the main focus was on the director and I and making the story work and making her the lead,” she said. “I designed her first outfit and last outfit,” Beadle continued, adding about the flowing red dress Perry is first seen wearing, as she falls from space to the planet where her lover waits for her, “We wanted her to look like she was on fire and falling from the sky.” Soon the red dress becomes this “one massive white piece” by Viktor & Rolf, which, Beadle said, was “one of the most interesting pieces from the runway.” Perry’s next look is a flowing gown combined with metal pieces. “I built all the metal,” Beadle revealed. “All the skirts and stuff were designed and built by me.” While Perry went spacey glam in the video, her “E.T.” collaborator Kanye West kept his look decidedly Yeezy. “I went and talked to him and went through his things and his stylist had gone shopping,” Beadle said. “I’ve worked with him before [on ‘Love Lockdown’]. I did one of his other videos. He’s got very good style. I always find him very lovely. He’s got good taste, a good eye.” Related Videos MTV First: Katy Perry’s ‘E.T.’ Related Artists Katy Perry

‘Hangover Part II’ Trailer: Five Key Moments

First full trailer shows return of Ken Jeong as Leslie Chow. By Eric Ditzian Ken Jeong in “The Hangover Part II” Photo: Warner Bros. Kanye West’s “Dark Fantasy” playing during the trailer’s opening moments tells you everything you need to know about “The Hangover Part II”: “Can we get much higher?” Apparently we can. At least Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) can as they drop into Thailand — or “Thigh-land,” as Alan calls it — for Stu’s destination wedding. The “Hangover Part II” teaser trailer gave us a taste of the sort of madness the sequel to 2009’s blockbuster comedy would deliver. But the first full trailer, which popped up online Thursday evening, gives us a more robust — and occasionally more raunchy — idea of exactly how these three jokers once again end up effed up and racing to get back to their loved ones. Here are our picks for the five key moments from the trailer. The Worst Rehearsal-Dinner Speech Ever Stu should know that as soon as Alan gets up to give a speech in front of friends and family, things are not going to go well. No sooner does Alan say he can never speak of what happened in Las Vegas (during the events of the original film) then he proceeds to do just that. “This is not Stu’s first marriage. There was a whore in Las Vegas a couple of …,” he declares before being cut off. Besides being highly inappropriate and pretty darn funny, the speech lets us know that the storyline of the sequel takes place a few years after Vegas, perhaps in real time following 2009’s “Hangover.” Teddy Is Bad News Stu’s bride-to-be comes up with one unfortunate idea when she suggests the guys go out for a drink and take her little brother Teddy along. Cut to the next morning and, once again, one seriously vicious post-party hangover. Teddy is missing. The boys have somehow landed in Bangkok. And Stu can’t return to his bride until he locates her bro. Is Teddy the one responsible for dosing them with drugs and kicking off their misadventure? Alan promises that, unlike last time, it wasn’t him. Teddy seems a likely culprit. Although there’s also … Leslie Chow?! As Phil says when they find him in their dive of a hotel room, “Chow, what are you doing here?” That’s a great question. Well, apparently he is Alan’s plus one, whatever that entails. And according to Chow himself, “We had a sick night, bitches!” Though the way in which he figures into the plot remains to be seen, it’s great to see 2010 MTV Movie Award winner Ken Jeong back in the mix. Stu, Unleashed Blink and you’ll miss it, but around the two-minute mark, we get a glimpse of Stu going buck-wild on what looks to be the streets of Bangkok. Is this a peek at what happens before the hangover sets in? Or perhaps Stu lets loose a second time? It’s impossible to tell when exactly this scene takes place, since the left side of his face — the one that bears a Mike Tyson-esque tattoo — is not revealed to the camera. Call PETA! Let’s just put this out there: Director Todd Phillips digs masturbation humor. In “Hangover,” he had Galifianakis take advantage of a baby. In “Due Date,” he had Galifianakis do unclean things to a dog. And now, it’s a monkey’s turn: After hiding a water bottle under a monk’s robes, he has the animal simulate, well, let Zack explain: “When a monkey nibbles on a weenus, it’s funny in any language.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
