The Jonas brother’s episode airs on May 23, before the two-hour live finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” On “Minute,” contestants take a shot at 10 “deceptively simple” games, each with a 60-second time limit, for the chance to win $1 million. “We can’t wait for Kevin to come on the show and take on some of our most nerve-wracking challenges,” executive producer Craig Plestis said in a statement to “Access Hollywood.” “We’re anxious to see if he can win it in a minute and raise some big money for his charity.” Kevin and his brothers, Nick and Joe, are currently shooting their hit Disney Channel series, “JONAS,” prepping for a possible summer tour and gearing up for the release of their Disney Channel flick “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.” Earlier this year, Joe revealed that though the Jonas Brothers have been pretty busy working on their own projects, they have no plans to break up any time soon. “I’m doing a lot of writing and I’m not sure where that will pick up,” Joe said . “I’m kind of sure, but I can’t really talk about it. Why Google Is Now Topeka

The search engine continues its proud tradition of April Fools’ Day jokes. By Eric Ditzian Topeka Photo: Google Early-morning Web surfers woke up Thursday (April 1) to a strange sight: Google was no longer Google, but a multicolored search engine called Topeka. Say what? Oh, Google, you and your Internet hoaxes! Following in a long line of elaborate pranks, Google decided that for April Fools’ Day , the company would change its name to Topeka, brand equity be damned. The purported name change followed an actual March decision from the town of Topeka, Kansas, which declared its intention to change its name to Google in a bid to become one of the cities in which the company plans to build high-speed broadband networks. On the first day of April, Google repaid the compliment. “We’ve been wondering ever since how best to honor that moving gesture,” the company announced on its official blog . “Today we are pleased to announce that as of 1 a.m. (Central Daylight Time) April 1st, Google has officially changed our name to Topeka.” The hoax is merely the latest for a company that prides itself on a having a sense of humor and famously trumpeted its founding edict: “Don’t be evil.” For April Fools’ Day 2006, the company announced the launch of Google Romance , a send-up of online dating services. A year earlier, Google proudly revealed its intention to sell a line of “smart drinks” to “maximize your surfing efficiency.” In 2004, the search company started advertising for jobs located on the moon . In its most recent announcement, of course, Google gave no indication that the name change was anything less than a verified fact. The decision to switch to Topeka, it seemed, had not been made lightly. “Google employees once known as ‘Googlers’ should now be referred to as either ‘Topekers’ or ‘Topekans,’ depending on the result of a board meeting that’s ongoing at this hour,” read the company’s blog post. “Whatever the outcome, the conclusion is clear: We aren’t in Google anymore.”

Ashley Tisdale To Star In ‘High School Musical’ Spin-Off

Actress will reportedly return to Disney Channel for ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.’ By Jocelyn Vena Ashley Tisdale Photo: Eric Charbonneau/ Getty Images Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu have all said goodbye to their “High School Musical” alter egos for now, but apparently Ashley Tisdale wasn’t ready to just yet. She’s reportedly going to play Sharpay Evans again in her own spin-off film for the Disney Channel called, “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.” A rep for the actress hadn’t returned MTV News’ request for comment by press time, but the rep did confirm to JustJared.com that Tisdale will star in and executive produce the movie, which will shoot this summer. It’s expected to premiere in 2011. There is no word on whether any of her former “High School Musical” pals (particularly Lucas Grabeel who plays her twin brother, Ryan) will also return for the TV-movie. “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” hit theaters in 2008, and there have been rumors that “High School Musical 4” is expected to go into production. While Tisdale and her co-stars seemed ready to try new projects after “HSM 3,” she didn’t rule out playing Sharpay again. “We don’t really know anything about ‘HSM 4,’ actually. It’s flattering to leave the door open for a character, so that’s really awesome,” she said in late 2008. “I’m just kind of looking forward to other projects as well. It’s something that we’ve always loved to do … and [we’re looking forward to] growing in our careers and looking ahead.” Tisdale has been busy with several non-“HSM” TV and movie projects, including the comedy “They Came From Upstairs” and a pilot for a CW series called “Hellcats.” Tisdale also started her own production company, Blondie Girl Productions . Are you excited to see Tisdale return as Sharpay one more time? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Ashley Tisdale
