People divorce and get back together all the time. This could totally be the case for Hilary Duff and her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, even though they finalized their divorce on January 28th (Duff filed two years prior). Us Weekly has a photo from May 15th, which shows Comrie leaning into Duff’s Mercedes to give her a kiss in Beverly Hills. The exes share joint custody of their four-year-old son, Luca, and have been known to spend a lot of time together in the past. Days after the ink dried on their divorce papers, Duff and Comrie took Luca to Hawaii. When Duff appeared on Ellen , she told the talk show host that they still like hanging out, even though they aren’t technically together. “We’re good friends and we laugh a lot,” Duff explained. Mike Comrie and Hilary Duff: Behind the Break-Up? “And we have a great communication and we share pictures when one is not with Luca. He’s great, we are great, and we keep on trucking. Whave such a great kid. And we’re both so obsessed with him.” Duff was required by the court to pay Comrie $2.5 million, reportedly to keep their former Beverly Hills home. This is strange, since Comrie’s family is very wealthy. She was able to keep that, as well as a second home. Comrie got two luxury cars and jewelry, according to reports. What prompted Duff to finally file was an incident that took place at Mastro’s Steakhouse in LA. Comrie had downed shots of tequila, then tried to proposition a waitress for sex. The incident was printed, which must have been humiliating for Duff. “I have to say, as the server who saw all of this, I feel bad for Hilary,” a source at the restaurant said, according to the Daily Mail . “I know that she and Mike are separated but I’d heard that they’ve been trying to reconcile for the sake of their little boy.” Love is a battlefield. Even though Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting got divorced after less than two years of marriage, it was widely believed that the former tennis pro would make out like a bandit in terms of spousal support. After all, it was just a few months after their wedding that Kaley signed a $90 million contract for three more seasons of The Big Bang Theory , thus making her one of the highest paid actresses in TV history. Unfortunately for the unemployed Mr. Sweeting, it seems Kaley spent a large chunk of that fortune on hiring the best divorce lawyers money can buy. TMZ is reporting today that Sweeting will get next to nothing from Cuoco thanks to an ironclad prenup. In fact, it seems that all of the cash in that record-breaking contract will remain in Kaley’s bank account. That’s right – Ryan won’t see a cent of the sweet TBBT money that’ll allow Kaley to retire at 35 if she wants to. Sounds like a decent deal by regular non-celebrity standards, but you have to remember that Ryan probably thought he would never have to work again. $165,000 is a nice chunk of change, but it’s not “go live out the rest of your days playing shuffleboard in Cabo” money. The fact that Kaley sicced her legal team on Sweerting in such ruthless fashion has been taken by some as an indication that the split wasn’t as amicable as the ex-couple initially pretended. Whatever the case, we think it’s safe to say Ryan will probably no longer watch The Big Bang Theory online after the settlement is finalized.
I had an interesting conversation with a pretty well established photographer this past weekend at a club, where we were talking about how every girl thinks she’s a model and how models who are actually models aren’t getting the work anymore because they aren’t the marketing “influencers” they need to be… We were saying how the right girl for the job isn’t hired, as everyone knows, but the person who can get more people to see the picture is hired, and it’s too bad because you get really average looking girls in the campaigns…instead of the right girl for the campaigns… So in doing this we don’t have iconic people, we just have people like the Jenners who aren’t necessarily disgusting, but who are only memorable because they are shoved down our throats all fucking day everyday… And what ends up happening is that models, who would normally only be seen in these high produced, big budget shoots, are now forced to selfie, and because they are models and not creative directors and make-up artists, their images are more “real” or “honest’ and thus disgusting… While these instagram whores know how to trick people to take hot pics… So what we have is a group of average girls who know how to pose to look hot – getting famous or jobs….and a group of amazingly hot models who don’t know how to pose for a selfie because they need a director looking like shit – who don’t get famous for jobs… So these paparazzi pics of a model, who prior to trying to sue me for posting her honeymoon images pre divorce pics…I had the right to post, Lara Stone, who was at one point spectacular with great tits…is looking fucking horrible, dumpy, huge…because either she’s been buying food with her divorce money, mainly cake, or because this is just how she always looked, she just takes a good pic… Whatever the reason, a terrible looking model is still better than a good looking pic of an average girl…even if she’s the worst.. Aisha Tyler’s Estranged Husband Jeff Tietjens Files For Divorce It’s a wrap for Aisha Tyler’s swirly matrimony-dom! Via TMZ reports : Aisha Tyler’s husband Jeff Tietjens is pulling the plug on their 20 year marriage. Jeff finally filed divorce docs earlier this month in L.A. Superior Court. They’d been separated since January 2015. They got hitched in 1994 after being college sweethearts. Aisha has been vocal on “The Talk” about her and Jeff’s inability to conceive, but it’s unclear if that played a role in the breakup. He cited irreconcilable differences. Aisha’s rep, Lisa Morbete, tells TMZ although their marriage is ending, their friendship will continue. Jeff isn’t asking for spousal support now, but indicated in the docs he’s reserving the right to do so later. Khloé Kardashian is done. She has pleaded with Lamar Odom to get help for his addictions, but he just won’t listen. She stayed by his side throughout his time in the hospital following his near-fatal overdose after partying in a Nevada brothel. She called off their divorce so she could make decisions for him when it looked like he might not make it. And when he did make it, she cared for him and included him in important family gatherings. But despite all the sacrifices his wife has made, it seems Lamar continues to destroy his body with drugs and alcohol, and Khloé wants nothing to do with it. “She doesn’t agree with some of Lamar’s choices in the past few weeks,” a source tells People . “She plans on refiling for divorce soon. She and Lamar are just figuring out the finances first.” “Khloé was there for Lamar when he needed her,” the source added. “She spent months making sure he got the best care and was able to recover. Lamar was her main focus, and it was draining for her. As previously reported, Megan Fox is pregnant with baby number-three. This is both exciting news and surprising news. The former because… hey, awesome! A baby! The answer is yes, of course, but Green and Fox dated for six years before they were married for five years.
