Ahmad Rashad and Sale Johnson to File for Divorce

In what can only be described as the anti- Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries way of working out a split, sportscaster Ahmad Rashad and wife Sale Johnson are quietly negotiating terms of a divorce settlement, sources say, prior to filing the paperwork in the near future. Insiders tell Gossip Extra that the couple, who wed in 2007, has been estranged for months. Johnson is the ex-wife of New York Jets owners Woody Johnson and reportedly received over $100 million from that pair’s divorce many years ago. She and Rashad made news in 2010 after Johnson’s daughter, Casey Johnson , passed away from diabetes complications and left her adopted daughter to be raised by Ahmad and Sale. The reasons for this divorce are unclear, but insiders say Johnson has grown “weary” of Rashad’s close friendship with Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan. We could understand that. Especially if Tiger had been bringing any of his waitressing friends by.

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant: Reconciled!

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa Bryant are officially back together, happy, reconciled and dismissing their divorce papers. They confirmed the un-split on Instagram! Friday, Vanessa’s page read: “We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future.” Kobe Bryant posted a message on Facebook: “When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers.” “I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family.” Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in December 2011, citing irreconcilable differences, nearly 10 years after she stuck by him during his Colorado rape trial. Kobe was acquitted of all charges, but admitted straying from Vanessa with the desk clerk at a Vail-area resort hotel in a memorable public apology. Vanessa filing to leave Kobe was rumored to be a product of his cheating, as well. This was never confirmed, but he definitely did not want to get divorced. The future NBA Hall of Fame member spent pretty much all of 2012 trying to win his wife back , privately and publicly, and it appears it finally worked. The couple has two daughters. We wish them all the best!

Bethenny Frankel Discusses Divorce, Feelings of Failure

Just days after filing for divorce from Jason Hoppy , Bethenny Frankel sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview that airs today and told the host she’s going through an “excruciating” time. “I feel like a failure,” Frankel said. “I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale. I thought I had it. And [my 2-year-old daughter] Bryn is my fairy tale.” Bethenny Frankel on Ellen: Divorce Interview Frankel and Hoppy wed in a televised ceremony in 2010, with the former Real Housewives of New York City star admitting: “I can’t just only be on reality TV and show everything when it’s fair princess, fairy tale and then not take my hits when I have to. I’ve kind of had the best worst year ever.” Frankel added that she needs to handle this split with “grace and dignity” because she feels like a role model. “I get letters from people saying now I don’t believe in love and that’s just not true, love is everywhere,” Bethenny says. We agree with that sentiment, but… really, people?!? If you no longer believe in love because Bethenny Frankel is now divorced, you may need to re-evaluate your definition of this emotion.

Bethenny Frankel Files For Divorce From Jason Hoppy

Looks like Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are officially done. Having announced a separation over the holidays, the reality star began the divorce process by filing the paperwork earlier this week in New York. Sources say the Bethenny Frankel divorce will be quick and easy from a legal standpoint, but that doesn’t make it any easier to cope with emotionally. “Bethenny is devastated,” a friend tells People . The split with Jason Hoppy comes after months of rumors that the pair, who wed in 2010 and are parents to daughter Bryn, 2 1/2, were on the rocks. It’s unclear what specifically drove them to this sad point. “It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating,” Frankel, 42, said in a statement on December 23. “This was an extremely difficult decision.” “As a woman and a mother, I have to accept it as the best choice for our family.”

While the Kim Kardashian pregnant news may have reality TV’s First Family putting on a giddy face in public, the latest issue of Star alleges that life is getting ugly behind the scenes. Yes, the Bruce and Kris Jenner divorce may soon be a reality, according to this tabloid, and the case is bound to turn nasty. According to imaginary inside tabloid sources, Bruce is most concerned over his daughters and the fear that Kris will exploit them just like she did with Kim Kardashian . In fact, Bruce is worried that “[Kris] might encourage Kendall to make a sex tape,” the magazine actually claims, adding, of course, that Kris would then “be pulling the strings behind the scenes, making sure word gets out” about the video. Sounds crazy… but have you met Kris Jenner?!? The mom-ager, meanwhile, is reportedly determined to remain married. “Kris made it clear that if Bruce embarrassed her by filing for divorce, she’d crush him and expose all the skeletons in his closet,” a source says. We doubt any of this is true, but allow us to issue a warning to Baby Kimye anyhow: make a run for it, kid.

A lil chubby lumpkins chitchatter… Rob Kardashian took a moment from eating away his pain over Rita Ora to throw a lil hate his sister’s way this New Year’s. Via RadarOnline reports : “I’m so proud of my sisters, but I’ll be married before I have a baby,” Rob said while hosting the CIROC Vodka New Year’s Eve countdown at STK Miami on Monday. Of course, pregnant Kim is not yet free to wed Kanye, as she’s still in the midst of her divorce from Kris Humphries. Another of Rob’s famous sisters, Kourtney, still hasn’t walked down the aisle with Scott Disick, the father of her two kids. The couple is raising son Mason, 3, and daughter Penelope, 6 months, together. Although Rob has a “married first” policy for himself, he didn’t seem too concerned about Kanye proposing to Kim. “I think everyone is just excited about and focused on the baby right now,” he said. “Kim and Kanye are over the moon happy. Katy Perry was definitely feeling the holiday spirit on Christmas. As was her boyfriend John Mayer, Santa costume and all. Katy Perry and John Mayer spent the day at home with her parents in Santa Barbara, and the “Wide Awake” singer gifted her 30 million followers this gem of a photo. “Santa Baby” reads the caption. You may hurl on cue. It’s the most public display of affection yet for Katy, who has been dating the 35-year-old himbo crooner for about five months (including a brief August split). Could be the first of many, too. “They are seriously in love and exclusive,” a pal says of Perry’s first long-term romance since she and Russell Brand finalized their divorce this summer. “John is surprised at just how cool and smart she is, while John has proved he’s matured and learned from his mistakes … Katy is blown away.” Hopefully she made Santa’s nice list this year, otherwise this naughty fellow might deposit some sexually transmitted diseases in her proverbial stocking. In other Saint Nick Impostor news … a grey Santa outfit angered a guest at a Swedish spa and conference center Tuesday. Wrap your head around that.

The Real Housewives of Miami Recap: Make Ups & Break Ups

The Real Housewives of Miami make a “Healing Hole” in their season finale. Who’s making up? Who’s breaking up? And who’s making babies? We break it all down in THG’s +/- recap! Karent made it home to see her ailing father but the rest of the ladies are stuck in Bimini Bay. Plus 15 . I could think of far worse places to be stuck in, even with the rain. With no sun shining and time to kill, Marysol suggests a healing ritual recommended by her mother.  Plus 10 . What do they have to lose? Well the water might be a little cold but the flowers are pretty and that crystal blue water is just stunning. Marysol asks the ladies to make sure their minds are blank.  Plus 12 because with this crowd that shouldn’t be hard. Adrienne asks to heal old wounds and start fresh with lots of love. Lisa wants to start a family. Marysol needs to remove the obstacles and move on. Ana wants the strength to let go. Joanna realizes she loves Romain and wants all the negativity gone from their lives. And Lea…well Hell. Her life is damn good the way it is so she just wishes the rest of the ladies well.  Plus 20. But honestly, the entire healing hole ritual was just a snore fest.  Minus 25. If it weren’t for that gorgeous ocean it wouldn’t have been worth filming. The Housewives finally make it back to Miami and Adriana and her son perform a piano duet.  Plus 11 . It was quite lovely. Frederic and she announce the news that they plan to get married next Spring…and live on the boat.  I’m holding off on awarding points because that silly boat might blow this thing before it ever sails. Joanna arrives home to find Romain down on one knee proposing…again.  I guess since the first one didn’t take he thought he’d try it again with a diamond necklace this time.  Plus 15 because it was pretty darn romantic. Joanna even said yes to setting a date this time. But with all of this wedding talk there are plenty of break ups too.  Ana finally signs the divorce papers after two years.  She thinks Robert’s making light of it all to make her feel better but personally I just think he’s an ass. Minus 13 . Marysol’s finally willing to officially call it quits with her ex but since we haven’t seen him all season do we really care? Minus 11. Then she heads out to lunch with momma Elsa and they’re both wearing leopard prints which prompts Marysol to share that she can’t take off her jacket because she’s not wearing a bra.  Minus 10 . I didn’t need to know that. And what is up with the restaurant they’re at? It’s connected to a gas station and the emergency cut off switch is even on their door.  Weird. Lea visits with Lisa and gives her some good advice. Perhaps her whole world shouldn’t revolve around Lenny. Maybe she should find her own passion and become a little more independent. Plus 16 . But if Lisa can’t have a baby, apparently she’ll put all of her motherly instinct towards Daysy.  Ugh. Minus 18 .  Why would anyone want to stand around and watch Daysy’s tummy get liposuctioned. That was just gross. Lisa really does need a life. And back at home Karent was taking care of Dad and still defending Rodolfo to Mom.  But thankfully she may have come to her senses. As the season closes, Marysol throws a final blowout party and Elaine Lancaster shows up to perform…but honestly, does anyone really care? Maybe that’s just the way you bury the hatchet in Miami. With a drag show. At the close of the episode we learn several things… Lisa’s still not pregnant. Lea’s writing a tell all book. Elsa predicts Marysol will marry again…and again. Adriana is still planning her wedding. Joanna is not. She and Romain have gone on yet another break. Ana is still fool enough to be doing Robert’s laundry. And Karent finally broke things off with Rodolfo. Are Joanna and Romain over for good?  Is Ana separating Robert’s colors from his whites? Will Alexia screech I told you so to Karent?  For that and more fussing and fighting check back next week for the big reunion show. EPISODE TOTAL: +22! SEASON TOTAL: -280!

Track Palin, 23, and Britta married in May 2011. The high school sweethearts welcomed daughter Kyla three months later. Track, who served time in Iraq, is a commercial fisherman and plans to go back to college.
