Demi Lovato: 19 (VERY!) Candid Confessions from Her Documentary

Demi Lovato has always been an open book. The singer has never shied away over the years from discussing her battles with substance abuse and an eating disorder. In the YouTube documentary “Simply Complicated,” Lovato is an open… series of books? We're not sure how to phrase it, we just know the artist discusses absolutely everything, from her career to her drug use to her most famous relationship. Scroll down and then all around for a look at all we learned about Lovato in this revealing film: 1. When Did She First Do Cocaine? “I was 17 working on Disney Channel, and I was with a couple of friends and they introduced me to it. I was scared because my mom always told me that your heart could just burst if you do it. But I did it anyways and I loved it. I felt out of control with the coke the first time that I did it.” 2. Yes, She Once Punched a Backup Dancer in the Face After learning someone named Shorty outed her for using Adderall during a Camp Rock 2 tour, “I remember thinking, ‘I’m about to beat this bitch up.’ She had already boarded the plane, I just went up to her and it was like a blur.” 3. This Was a “Breaking Point” Lovato said she slept the whole day afterward, texted her mom an apology and realized she needed major help. 4. She Entered Rehab, Got Diagnosed as Bipolar… … and then fell off the wagon: “I wasn’t working my program, I wasn’t ready to get sober. I was sneaking it on planes, in bathrooms, nobody knew. I went on a bender of two months when I was using daily and there was one night where I used a bunch of coke, I popped a few Xanax bars and I started to choke a little bit and my heart started racing. I remember thinking, oh my god, I might be overdosing right now.” 5. This Was the Last Time She Drank: “I invited 2 random people and basically just drank with them. I got really really drunk until it was time to get on a flight and I was so drunk that I threw up in the back of the car service on the way to the airport to perform on American Idol. I felt like that was a moment in my career where I didn’t care. I just knew that I needed to be high to get through what I was going through at that point.” 6. It Was On to a Sober Living Facility She retired here every night after judging The X Factor. Said her manager in the documentary of this experience: “She’s having to do chores. She has no cell phone. She’s completely and totally submitted to the process of recovery.” View Slideshow

Ariel Winter’s Fat Girl Workout Video of the Day

Everyday, Ariel Winter posts a workout video, yet she’s still fat….in a time when her metabolism is at its highest…which makes no sense other than that she can’t fight the inevitable…or that you can’t workout enough if you’re destined to be 400 pounds…and that if you eat the all you can eat buffet every night cuz you’re rich…you can workout all day it aint gonna do shit… I assume, she’s doing this fitness thing as it is in contract with the TV SHOW that she can’t become a fat fuck…even though she is a fat fuck…and this is her proving her work so she doesn’t get pay cut or killed off the show… Or maybe she’s polarizing her size as muscle mass, body positivity, or whatever lie she’s doing. I just know there is nothing hot in this workout, this is not the workout I’d be on the eliptical jerking off in my sweatpants to… But it happened…and she wants you to see it….it’s like “I’m not fat, I work out”…and at least she’s not just posting pics of her eating cake.. You Can See Elle Fanning’s Bra on Set of the Day

Elle Fanning is working on a Woody Allen movie…where she wore a white blouse and a floral printed bra that you can see through said blouse….and the rumor is that Woody chose her outfit himself…he likes them young, usually his adopted daughter, but a hired version who is less asian, but still young enough to pull off what he needs for his art…you know because that’s how male run hollywood works…it’s just one big porno masked with Disney level marketability… It’s one of those “he’s a genius but he’s Roman Polanski, but he’s a genius does it matter that he’s Roman Polanski..”…. People who aren’t creepy don’t get into Hollywood to become power players…. The world is about finding ways to get laid…even the Rolling Stones started the band to get pussy…it’s the number 1 motivator…and when you’re a neurotic Jewish man like Woody ALlen, you need an angle to get pussy…so you best excel at whatever it is you do…to get pussy…even if the adopted daughter pussy was almost like shooting a fish in a barrel… you know what I mean.. Jennifer Lawrence Tits and an Old Lady of the Day

Jennifer Lawrence brought her tits, that are great tits, I’ve seen em, you’ve seen em, we’ve all seen them in her strategic leaked nudes, that made her a more interesting character, who was still overrated and annoying, overly celebrated and awarded, hired for too many jobs, but the nudes, made her more tolerable…for every irritating thing she did, or Oscar she was nominated for for playing herself…in every role, just different costumes…I could look to the nudes and say…OK..It’s ok…great tits. She’s at an event with a 90 year old French movie director woman, who I guess broke down boundaries and is now promoting her documentary on traveling through france painting portraits of people…. I guess it’s a PR move for her, support women in the industry, act like she cares, maybe her weirdo boyfriend made her go…who knows…but she’s there and all she has to say for herself is “look how much taller I am than this old bitch”…because ultimately, she’s an old lady mocking cunt. Dick Gregory Dies; Iconic Comedian Was 84 Years Old

Dick Gregory, a legendary comic who was also well known for his work as a civil rights activist, died on Saturday in Washington D.C. He was 84 years old. Gregory had recently rescheduled an event in Atlanta due to a hospitalization, although the cause of his illness and his subsequent passing is unknown at this time. “The family appreciates the outpouring of support and love, and respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time,” wrote son Christian Gregory on social media, adding: “More details will be released over the next few days.” While serving as a member of the military in the 1950s, Gregory started his career as a stand-up comedian. He didn’t specialize in harmless, observational humor, however. Quite the opposite. Gregory satirized segregation and racial injustice in his acts; he was arrested several times in the 1960s for joining civil rights rallies. In 1961, he rose to prominence as the first black performer to perform at a white club after Hugh Hefner gave him a regular gig at the Playboy Club in Chicago.   He earned rave reviews at the time and eventually signed a three-year contract to serve as a headliner at the establishment. Always with an eye on societal issues greater than his own career, Gregory was once invited to perform on The Tonight Show in the days of Jack Paar… … refused unless he was able to have a seat on the couch. “He taught us how to laugh,” wrote Reverend Jesse Jackson upon learning of Gregory’s passing. “He taught us how to fight. He taught us how to live. “Dick Gregory was committed to justice.I miss him already. #RIP.” A motivational speaker later in life, Gregory wrote several books, including “Murder in Memphis,” which analyzed the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Also a writer – particularly respected for the documentary “Joe Louis: America’s Hero… Betrayed” – Gregory was ranked by Comedy Central as the 82nd best stand-up comic in history. “Dick Gregory lived an amazing, revolutionary life. A groundbreaker in comedy and a voice for justice,” John Legend Tweeted as a tribute to the icon, while DL Hughley added: “Heaven just got funnier.” We send our condolences to the loved ones of Dick Gregory. May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam

Is Wearing Your Bonnet In Public Tacky?

My sister loves her bonnet. So much so that she’s created a hashtag for the life she leads. #BonnetLife. Most Black girls know how far a good bonnet can go in preserving the moisture in your hair, preserving your style and the strength of your hair as well. Still, the assumption is that bonnets will be worn in the privacy of your own home. So you can imagine my mortification when my sister decided that she would have continental breakfast, in the lobby of our hotel, wearing her beloved bonnet. We were in Savannah, Georgia celebrating my birthday and my sister just didn’t want to take it off before we went downstairs. While it certainly wasn’t something I would have done, I admired the fact that my sister didn’t care about the opinions of others enough to let it deter her from moving as she wished. I took a picture of the moment and put it on my Instagram. [ madamenoire ] United Airlines: “Your Leggings Are Welcome” (Despite Yesterday’s Mess) If you hopped on Twitter yesterday and saw United trending, you might’ve thought, “Great, another airline I’m going to have to stop flying.” But before you jump to conclusions, it seems special circumstances were involved in United’s decision to block two teenage girls wearing leggings from boarding a flight to Minneapolis yesterday. The young passengers weren’t your everyday customers, they were “pass riders” — relatives or friends of United employees allowed to fly at discounted rates — and as such they are required to follow the airline’s dress code when flying which, apparently, does not include leggings. Despite the explanations being tweeted from United’s Twitter handle during the debacle, celebs and citizens alike dragged the airline for their “policing” of women’s clothes which, understandably, was deemed sexist. Today, United put out a formal statement on the incident, attempting to assure its regular customers their leggings are all good, but it might not be enough for the airline to recover from yesterday’s mishap.
