This has been quite a week for young Jackson Roloff. First, as hilariously documented by his famous mother, the one-year old went ahead and covered himself with pretty much ALL the poop earlier this week. Really, this actually happened . But Jackson has now rebounded from this embarrassing incident and managed to focus attention on him elsewhere. Specifically, from his very messy crib and body to his very impressive and nimble feet. That’s right, folks, Jackson Roloff is now walking all by himself! In a video Tori Roloff shared to her Instagram Stories page on July 30, we get a pretty clear glimpse at the toddler taking a few of his first steps. And, for good reason, Tori could not be more proud or excited. “So in case no one told you guys, Baby J is walking,” Tori captioned her video, adding in a second piece of special footage: You’re so big!” We don’t want to get all sappy or cheesy here, but this really is a pretty awesome occasion for those of us who have been following Jackson and his parents ever since the tiny Little People, Big World star was born. He entered the world in mid-May of 2018 and has become a rising Instagram sensation ever since. Okay, perhaps we’re exaggerating a little bit there. But Tori and husband Zach Roloff have been generous enough to share a steady stream of photos of their firstborn ever since he became a full-fledged human being. Each month for the first dozen of Jackson’s life, Tori would provide fans with a helpful update on what he’s been up to and what he is now able to do. But amid the revelry were a handful of serious moments that spoke directly to the past, present and future of Black people in America. 1. Al Sharpton Rev. Al Sharpton ’s keynote address at ESSENCE Fest implored attendees to realize the dire consequences of both America’s immigration policies, the president choosing a new Supreme Court justice as the importance of voting. There should never be a question of NOT voting! Miley Cyrus once sang that it was all about The Climb. However, according to a sad new report, she and Liam Hemsworth are on a descent. Miley Cyrus once asked Who Owns My Heart? And now, for the first time in ages, the answer isn’t clear. Miley Cyrus once rode a wrecking ball while being totally naked. And now her romance is allegedly wrecked while many men with balls likely prepare to woo her and hope she gets naked with them soon. Which is all a roundabout way of saying that Cyrus has supposedly split from her long-time fiance. The last we had heard about these stars, they had actually gotten married in a secret ceremony . But an anonymous insider says the exact opposite to Radar Online, alleging that there’s actually been tension between the singer and the actor for a long time now. And said tension has finally boiled over. “They’ve been hanging by a thread for months,” this source tells this website. “Now they’re as good as broken up and there will be no wedding.” It’s unclear exactly what has caused these celebrities to go their separate ways. Liam and Miley have been famously tight-lipped about their romance for years, making it difficult to discern crazy rumors about them from accurate reports. In this case, Radar writes that Miley has left the Malibu home she was sharing with Liam and that she’s no longer wearing an engagement ring. “Miley’s been spending a lot more time at her parents’ house,” says a source. “She needs time to herself.” Cyrus and Hemsworth have been engaged for what feels like a decade. They met way back in 2009 on the set of the movie The Last Song and then dated for a couple years. But then they broke up, like a million times, only to get together in early 2016. They’ve quietly been going strong ever since, only occasionally showing affection for each other in public , but also avoiding any sort of scandal or controversy. So… what the heck has gone wrong? Why is the relationship now over? Radar claims that Cyrus has grown tired of wedding planning and years for more independence. “She’s accomplished a lot in her life, but there’s still a lot she wants to do – and Miley doesn’t want to have to answer to anybody, least of all a husband,” this insider sort of hilariously says. Yes, Miley has been known to march to the beat of her own proverbial drum. But it’s been pretty clear for a very long time that Hemsworth is cool with that. What else may have therefore driven the pair apart? Liam’s desire to settle down and have a family, Radar finally claims. “Liam’s over it,” a source concludes. “He wants kids and doesn’t want to keep putting it off… “It’s ultimatum time for Liam. And pals aren’t betting on Miley making the commitment he wants!”

We give up. When it comes to the relationship between Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, we just… give up. You can go ahead and try to figure these two out; we’re just gonna sit back and eat some hot dogs on this special birthday. Indeed, the Jersey Shore cast member and his on-again/off-again/on-again/off-again girlfriend apparently put their differences aside on Wednesday in order to celebrate America. Ortiz-Magro shared a photo on Instagram Stories this morning of himself and Harley snuggled close, flag-themed hearts floating around the duo as she made a kissy face at the camera. “Happy independence day,” over the image. How cute, right? How sweet, no? How romantic, yes? Sure, we guess. But that would only be true if you ignored the fact that Harley was arrested mere days ago for DRAGGING RONNIE BY A CAR in Las Vegas. The couple had reportedly got into an argument on the way home from a barbecue and, as Ronnie tried to unbuckle his seatbelt and exit the vehicle, Harley allegedly sped away, dragging her boyfriend down the street. She was taken into custody by local authorities, but will not be charged with any crime. It’s important to note two things while we relay that news: 1. Harley and Ronnie are the new parents to a baby girl named Ariana; she was born on April 3. (And she was in the car at the time of the above incident.) 2. This above incident was certainly NOT the first time Ronnie and Jen got into it in a very serious manner. In late April, Jen and Ronnie went back and forth in very ugly fashion on social media. She accused him of cheating. He accused her of holding on to old sex tapes of herself and an ex. Harley slammed Ronnie as a “cokehead” and deadbeat dad. It’s troubling and scary and disturbing and you can judge it for yourself here: Ronnie Magro Gets Into Altercation with Jen Harley Ronnie and Jen have tried to maintain a healthy relationship amidst all this craziness, mostly for the sake of their newborn. “I remain focused on my daughter and she is my No. 1 priority,” Ronnie told us Weekly a little while back, for example. Last we heard, however, friends were encouraging Ronnie to stay away from Harley and to even file for primary custody of Ariana. It doesn’t look like he’s taken this advice, however, based on the first photo posted above. We’re afraid, though. There’s plenty of July Fourth to go and we have a feeling that if these two are together… and the alcohol is flowing… that things may get explosive between them tonight. And not because they’ll be watching fireworks.
