Reggie Bush is going to be a father! The Miami Dolphins running back – best known in the celebrity gossip world as the serious ex-boyfriend of Kim Kardashian – is expecting his first child with girlfriend, Lilit Avagyan, In Touch Weekly confirms. “She is 100 percent pregnant,” an insider tells the tabloid of Avagyan . “Reggie’s friends were saying to him, ‘At least you’ll have something to celebrate in 2013,’” a jab at the Dolphins unlikely odds of winning the Super Bowl. They stand at 2-3. Bush and Avagyan – who friends describe as “extremely excited to be a mom” – have been together for about a year and she is due in April. As for Kardashian’s reaction? It’s less positive, an insider claims to Radar Online. “Kim had pressured Reggie for a very long time to get married while they were together because she wanted to have a family with him… She feels it is a slap in the face that Reggie would consider having a baby with this woman when he wouldn’t with her.” Oh well. At least Kardashian has a fake boyfriend to comfort her at night.

They were spotted on a lunch date over the weekend, and now new reports are filtering in that claim Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush really might be running back their relationship in the near future. “They don’t know what will happen,” a source tells People . “They’re taking it slow. They love each other so much and miss each other, but their relationship is so complicated.” Kardashian and Bush split in 2010, but rumors have abounded ever since that they could have a future together. And it helps that Reggie now plays for the Dolphins, a team based in Kim’s second home. Of course, if Bush really does intend to pursue the reality star again, he’ll have to confront step-dad Bruce Jenner, who told Ellen DeGeneres this week any future suitor will have to go through him to get to Kim. But while the movie may prove inspiring to human viewers, Movieline dares to ask the question that all too commonly eludes our species: What about the dolphins?
Man, these football wives are something else. NFL matrimony-dom isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who is laid up in a hospital bed after getting into a spat with his wife. Brandon Marshall was stabbed in the stomach Friday night by his wife and the Dolphins wide receiver remained in intensive care in a Miami hospital after surgery Saturday morning. Michi-Nogami-Marshall, 26, was arrested Friday night on one charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. According to Broward County police records cited by the Orlando Sun-Sentinel, Nogami-Marshall told deputies she stabbed Marshall in self-defense. Nogami-Marshall is being held on a $7,500 bond. Sources told ESPN.com that Marshall was taken to Broward General Hospital and underwent surgery late Friday night for the stab wound. Doctors are saying no vital organs were pierced and that the Pro Bowler will be okay in two to three weeks. Marshall’s agent Kennard McGuire released the following statement: “This is a very difficult time for Brandon and his family, thankfully he will make a full recovery. We simply ask during this time we respect his privacy.” The Miami Herald is reporting that a high-end team source sent a text message saying Marshall is “stable” and the stabbing isn’t life threatening. The Herald also said the Dolphins are now fully aware of the situation. Marshall, who was acquired from the Denver Broncos last April, lead the Dolphins in receiving yards in 2010 with 1,014 despite only playing 14 games. A hamstring injury caused him to sit out two games. Marshall, who was involved in the fight at a Denver nightclub that ended with the shooting death of his teammate Darrent Williams on New Year’s Eve in 2006, has a history of off-field incidents. He has multiple arrests for disorderly conduct, drunken driving and domestic violence on his record. In 2008 he was suspended for three games by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, but the suspension was later reduced to just one game With Marshall’s history of getting slizzed and domestic abuse there may be a whole lot more to this story.
