Ryan Vieth: Tamra Barney’s Son Arrested For Domestic Violence

Back in February,  Ryan Vieth welcomed his first child , and fans were hopeful that Tamra Barney’s troubled son would settle down and enjoy a quiet life with his new family. Unfortunately, it appears Vieth and wife Sarah Rodriguez’s happiness was short-lived, as a drunken fight back in June got so out of control that neighbors called the police and Vieth was taken into custody. Tamra’s PR team managed to keep the incident buried for the better part of a month, but now Radar Online is reporting that Vieth was arrested after officers arrived on the scene and found him drunk, shirtless, and in the midst of a violent rage. Rodriguez told police that Vieth had struck her several times, and she believed he had broken her finger. Vieth spent the night in custody and was released the following afternoon. His case has yet to go to trial, and the status of his relationship with Rodriguez is unknown. “Tamra is devastated and embarrassed by the arrest,” a source tells Radar. “She had to bail Ryan out of jail the day she returned from her belated honeymoon from Greece with hubby Eddie Judge.” Vieth was previously arrested in 2011 following a physical altercation with then-girlfriend Daniella Kelley.

Newlyweds Brittney Griner & Glory Johnson Each Suspended 7 Games For Slapping Each Other Up

Brittney Griner & Glory Johnson Suspended From WNBA Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson managed to move past their domestic dust-up last month, but it seems the WNBA hasn’t. The freshly married pair have each been slapped with a 7-game suspension from their respective team games — the longest ban in league history. Looks like the president really wants to set an example. Via ESPN : WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson were suspended seven games each Friday for their domestic violence arrest last month — the league’s longest ban in its 19-year history. WNBA president Laurel Richie said the league “takes all acts of violence extremely seriously” in handing down a suspension that represents nearly one-fifth of the 34-game regular season. Richie called the players’ actions “unacceptable.” “Brittney and Glory’s conduct is detrimental to the best interests of the WNBA and violates applicable law,” Richie said in a statement. “We also understand that people make mistakes, and that education and training are as important as imposing discipline.” “I have already learned a tremendous amount from this experience and am committed to improving myself and my marriage going forward,” Griner said in a statement. “I want to thank everyone for their support over these last few weeks. I realize I let down a lot of people who have been champions for me and I will support my teammates and our organization every day until I am back on the court. I am thankful for the opportunity to make positive changes and become a role model for others to do the same.” The WNBA said the two All-Stars must undergo individual counseling. If either fails to comply with that condition or those by the court, the league says it can revisit the case. Well that’s one way to set the precedent. Do you think the punishment was overkill or just enough? Instagram

The Dream: Charges Dropped In Baby Mama Assault Case

The Dream: Domestic Violence Case Dismissed The Dream danced his way out of an NYC court late last week as the nearly year-long domestic violence case against him was dismissed altogether. The songwriter always maintained that he never laid his hands his former girlfriend, a non-US citizen, and insisted that she was just trumping up charges to gain sympathy to remain in the United States. Via NY Daily News : The-Dream, the 37-year-old music industry bigwig whose real name is Terius Nash, was charged with choking and roughing up his then-pregnant girlfriend Lydia Nam in April 2012. Nam told authorities that Nash threatened to kill her “like O.J. Simpson killed Nicole Brown” during the altercation. But Nash was cleared of charges, including felony assault and strangulation, at a brief appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court. “After a thorough investigation, we have determined that we cannot prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt,” prosecutor Jacqueline Cornell said. She did not elaborate on the Manhattan District Attorney’s decision. Nash, said he felt “joy” over the result and did a short dance by the elevators while sharing a light moment with his new bride, Lalonne Martinez. “God has a way,” he said. “I’m relieved, that’s all.” We bet he’s relieved! Had there been evidence to rule him guilty, he could have faced 7 years in prison.
