Where is Olivia Pope when you need her? Columbus Short was arrested yesterday – for the fourth time in four months – after drinking way too much at a bar in Dallas. According to TMZ sources, the actor (who was let go from Scandal in April) was hanging out at Katy Trail Ice House for a few hours when he got up to leave, seemingly without paying his bill. A security guard confronted Short … words were exchanged… a scuffle ensued… and some off-duty policemen broke up the brawl before anyone got hurt. But Short wouldn’t let it go, screaming at those who tried to attack him. “He was like a dog with a bone who wouldn’t let it go,” an onlooker tells TMZ. Short was eventually booked for public intoxicate and taken into custody. Earlier this year, Short punched some dude during a fight at a bar in Los Angeles, while he’s also been booked twice on charges of domestic violence and was accused by his estranged wife this spring of breaking into her home . Believing that she was a victim of domestic violence, doctors alerted the authorities. The attack is believed to have taken place more than a week ago, but Britnny is still showing serious facial bruising. Britnny, who is best known for her relationship with the Kardashians , has declined to comment or publicly identify her attacker, but his name will likely be revealed in upcoming court proceedings. Embattled actor Columbus Short, who was quasi- fired from Scandal following his domestic violence arrest in February, has gone on the viral offensive against his wife. He shot a video to show his estranged spouse, Tanee McCall, was the violent one in their relationship … and this clip certainly doesn’t hurt his argument. Columbus Short Films Wife’s Fight Columbus Short was arrested for domestic violence for an incident at his house February 18, having been accused of assaulting his wife that night. The next day, after Columbus bailed out of jail, he asked his friend Tilly Key to come over to his house to pick him up. At that point, Tanee went ballistic . When she saw that Tilly was in the house, Tanee (on top) attacked; Tilly gave the video to TMZ to prove that Tanee is violent … even threatening her life. She feared for it, too. Tilly alleges that she suffered a concussion, a cervical sprain, multiple contusions, a lumbar sprain and lumbar strain as a result of this. Tanee has filed for divorce and sought a protective order forcing Columbus (who was also arrested in an unrelated fight in March) out of the house. DL Hughley Apologizes For Calling Columbus Short’s Wife A Thirsty Ho On Radio Last week Hughley came under fire for comments he made on his radio show regarding Columbus Short’s ugly estrangement from wife Tanee McCall-Short . Here’s a rundown of what was said, via xoJane : “I think that broad shouldn’t be telling all his business if she gone take him to court,” said Hughley. He dismisses the concerns of his female co-host, Jasmine Sanders, to converse with male co-host Steve Wilson because he has “nuts.” As Wilson intermittently laughs in the background, Hughley stops just short of calling McCall-Short a liar whose friends posed as witnesses to her abuse. “I don’t think you believe half the isht you saying right now, Jasmine,” said Hughley as Wilson laughed. “This b***h was thirsty. The b****h was thirsty. What, she gone go back to dancing? She gone f**k her money up?” “I think that broad shouldn’t be telling all his business if she gone take him to court,” said Hughley. “When you’re very young, you’re very volatile,” Hughley said. “I’ve been in situations where the police were called. I don’t believe that every time someone says something in the heat of anger, they actually mean it. Columbus clearly needs anger management. Columbus Short Threatened Wife With Murder-Suicide Dude beats the brakes off a man and now he has threatened to murk wifey? Even Olivia Pope couldn’t fix this. According to TMZ: “Scandal” star Columbus Short has been thrown out of his house and his wife has filed for divorce … after he allegedly put a knife to her throat last week and threatened to kill her and himself. According to a new restraining order — obtained by TMZ — Short got into it with his wife April 7 at their Chatsworth home, where she claims he came into her room intoxicated with a wine bottle in hand, acted like he was going to hit her with the bottle and then unloaded the wine on her. Tuere Short claims Columbus then ran to the kitchen for a knife, pinned her to the couch and began choking her. She says he then demanded they play a game he called “Truth or Truth.” He allegedly said if she lied he would stab her in the leg. She says he then started naming men he believed she was having affairs with. She denied them all but he allegedly then put the knife to her throat and threatened murder/suicide. As she tried escaping she says he slashed her tire. The restraining order requires Columbus to move out of the house. We’ve learned cops were there today to ensure the peace as he moved out. Tuere also filed for divorce Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for sole custody of their 2-year-old daughter. In addition to the incident April 7th, Short has been charged with criminal domestic violence and child abuse for allegedly abusing Tuere while their child and his son were in the house. He pled not guilty. And he was arrested for yet another alleged domestic violence incident a few weeks earlier. It’s interesting … just last month — after the first 2 domestic violence arrests – Columbus and his wife put on a united front at The Grove in L.A.
