This time, they were leaving a house party in Los Feliz on Saturday. The pair, who has kept mum on whether or not they’re dating, got into the same car upon exiting the shindig. You know what that means, people. That they’re reducing their carbon footprint. And maybe having sex. Earlier in the week, she was seen being dropped off after spending the night at his house, and it’s not the first time for the possible lovebirds. A source told E! recently that Katy Perry and John Mayer have been “laying low” at the latter’s home, hanging out and having “sleepovers” together. Wrong. Just wrong.
Good news for Chad Johnson: He’s out of jail on $2,500 bond. Bad news: He’s also out of a job. About 24 hours after Chad Johnson’s arrest for domestic violence , the Miami Dolphins released the loquacious, mercurial six-time Pro Bowl receiver. Johnson was released from jail Sunday after his wife, Evelyn Lozada, accused him of head-butting her during an argument in front of their home. Chad, who married Basketball Wives star Evelyn in Miami on July 4, was officially charged with simple domestic battery, a misdemeanor offense. Only five days earlier, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said Johnson’s roster spot could be in jeopardy if he didn’t temper his freewheeling behavior. This incident apparently was the final straw . Johnson, who recently changed his name back from Chad Ochocinco after four years with that absurd surname, was arrested on Saturday. Allegedly, Evelyn Lozada confronted him about a receipt she found in their car trunk for a box of condoms, police said, sparking an argument. With the two seated in the car, they began talking about the receipt and their marriage, and Chad allegedly got angry and head-butted his wife. Lozada ran to a neighbor’s house and called police. A responding officer said Lozada had a 3-inch cut on her forehead, according to reports, while Johnson did not have any visible marks or bruises. When questioned by police, the NFL star confirmed there had in fact been an argument over the receipt, but said his wife had head-butted him. Johnson has long been known for his unusual antics that annoyed his teammates as well as coaches, yet made him popular with many fans. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. Actor Lane Garrison was released from jail Friday after spending more than two months behind bars following his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence. The 31-year-old posted $50,000 bail and was released. Garrison was arrested April 22 after allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend Ashley Mattingly , and has remained in custody since then because he’s on parole. The former Prison Break star was convicted of vehicular manslaughter back in 2007; He pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence last month. He could spend up to a year behind bars, not to mention even more trouble if a judge determines that the charge was a violation of his parole terms. His next court hearing is scheduled for July 11.

If Jenelle Evans is in fact charged with possession of an illegal substance … no one would be surprised at this point. It’s still unconfirmed if she will be. In April, she accused Gary Head of abusing her, though she didn’t press charges, Tweeting later that she didn’t want to “jeopardize his career.” By early May, the pair had reconciled. On May 16, they got engaged after Head popped the question to Evans with a diamond sparkler. They have since called off the engagement, gotten back together at least once, shot down pregnancy rumors and adopted a puppy. More details to follow on the alleged arrest as the story develops. UPDATE, 1:20 p.m. : “Gary beat the sh!t out of Jenelle,” a friend of the MTV star told Radar Online. “He strangled her with a bed sheet.” “When the cops arrived they asked Jenelle what happened, and if she hit him and she told them, ‘F**k yeah I did, I hit him back.’” Jenelle is said to be “really shook up,” over the terrifying incident. Both have reportedly been charged with assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and another prescription drug.

‘I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle, and I was there,’ MMG rapper tells XXL of last week’s club fight. By Nadeska Alexis Meek Mill Photo: Chris Brown’s and Drake’s reps have issued statements about the NYC brawl between their entourages last week, but so far, the only direct words from the artists themselves have been via Twitter. Brown and MMG rapper Meek Mill have both tweeted about the incident in the past few days, but now Meek is finally speaking up about what he saw in the club that night as he stood next to Drake. In an interview with XXL, Meek was asked if he threw a bottle during the melee, which left Chris Brown, his bodyguard and several club patrons wounded. “F— no,” the Philly rapper responded, adding that Drake and Brown didn’t either. “Chris and Drake, them two was there, but it’s other people that be around that take sh– to the next level,” he said. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of sh–. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle, and I was there.” In the hours following the brawl, Meek’s brief tweets didn’t add any clarity to the situation. He began with the coy line, “It wasn’t me…. (shaggy voice) lol,” and later responded to messages from Roscoe Dash, who blasted him along with Drake and Brown for fighting. Meek snapped back, “You gotta chill b4 you b tweeting my name in some sh– i wasn’t even really in! Stay in ya lane!” Later in the day, Brown — who had already deleted his initial tweets and the photo of his injury, which he posted right after the brawl — sent a follow up message, writing, “Me and @MeekMill ain’t on that bullsh–. Real respect Real….” Although the statement seemed odd, right after reports that Meek had played a role in instigating the fight, Meek confirmed to XXL that things were all good between him and Brown. “What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem,” he said. “I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately. There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third. Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand. That don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake.” Drake made his first public appearance since the brawl at his Club Paradise Tour stop in New York on Saturday night, bringing Meek along with him, but he made no real statement on what went down last week. The talk show maven took to her Twitter on Monday (June 18) to confirm that Rihanna would appear on an upcoming episode of her OWN talk show, “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” Oprah didn’t have an exact date for the interview, but did note that it would all go down in August. A rep for OWN hadn’t responded to MTV News’ request for further information at press time. Rihanna appeared on Winfrey’s talk show back in January 2010 , where she performed Bob Marley’s classic “Redemption Song” to benefit the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Oprah also dedicated an entire episode of her talk show to the issue of domestic violence one year before in March 2009 . The episode was in part inspired by the 2009 assault of Rihanna by then-boyfriend Chris Brown. While Ri didn’t appear on the episode, Winfrey did have a message for young women who find themselves in abusive relationships. “If you go back with a man who hits you, it’s because you don’t think you’re worthy of being with a man who won’t,” Winfrey said during the episode. “I’ve said before, ‘Love doesn’t hurt, and if a man hits you once, he will hit you again.’ ” Given all the headlines that Rihanna has found herself in recently, including reconnecting with Brown on several tracks earlier this year and having her name tossed around as one of the reasons why Drake and Breezy got into a fight last week in New York City, the singer and the talk-show host should have some interesting talking points. In addition to her newly announced interview with Winfrey, Rihanna also made headlines on Monday thanks to her brand-new tattoo. Over the weekend, she tweeted out a photo of her new ankle tattoo. The tat is that of a falcon shaped somewhat like a handgun. “Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep,” she tweeted on Saturday.
