Actor Lane Garrison has been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence following his alleged attack on ex-girlfriend Ashley Mattingly last week. While it appeared Lane would be cleared as recently as mid-week, the L.A. County District Attorney filed the charges against him late Thursday. Based on surveillance video which appears to show Lane slapping Ashley Mattingly in the face last Saturday, the D.A. felt he had a case to make. Lane Garrison Slaps Ashley Mattingly Garrison insists he did not hit his ex, and says the tape helps his case. Lane’s lawyer says he was merely reaching for his phone at her Beverly Hills apartment and it was not a slap, but evidently the D.A. begs to differ . Garrison is being held without bail because he’s on a parole hold. He was convicted of vehicular DUI manslaughter back in 2007 and went to prison. If convicted of domestic violence, he faces up to a year in jail, which is very unlikely, however, he could do even more time if his parole is violated. That prospect is much more likely. Stay tuned.

Deion Sanders’ soon-to-be-ex-wife Pilar Sanders has just been released from jail after being arrested for domestic violence, and she’s forbidden from returning to the couple’s…
When will the drama end? We earlier reported on Pilar catching fade with Deion in front of their children. But it looks like “Psycho P” has been freed but could be without a home to return to. Via TMZ reports : Deion Sanders’ estranged wife has just been released from jail after her domestic violence arrest yesterday — and she’s forbidden from returning home … for the next 60 days. A judge issued an emergency protective order against Pilar Sanders today before releasing her from custody, banning her from entering the ex-couple’s Texas mansion for the next two months. She’s also prohibited from threatening or harassing any member of the family. But on her way out of jail, Pilar told reporters, “I am innocent. I understand that I have a very little chance at beating a Hall of Fame, two-sport man that everyone seems to love and adore. I am a full-time mom 100 percent for my children and I have just not gotten a fair shake.” As we previously reported … Pilar was arrested after allegedly jumping Deion in his bedroom — “kicking, biting, and scratching” him in front of his sons. This is just sad! Deion went from a Hall Of Fame athlete to a battered housewife from a Lifetime movie. Our childhoods wept. More On Bossip! Georgia Restaurant Makes Joke About Chris Brown Beating Rihanna In Reference To Their Black & Bleu Burger A Georgia restaurant is being accused of poor taste after posting a Facebook message about their Caribbean black and bleu burger that made reference to Chris Brown’s attack on Rihanna : A Watkinsville, Georgia restaurant, Chops & Hops, has come under fire for naming its Caribbean black and bleu sandwich for Rihanna — referencing the abuse she received from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. “Chris Brown won’t beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and ends with A,” the restaurant wrote on its Facebook page. The post struck a nerve with customers. “This is the most disgusting attempt at humor I’ve seen in a long, long time,” one person wrote. “I’m not sure I would trust someone with so little judgment and decorum with food preparation,” another commenter wrote. The restaurant later backtracked, stating that the staff doesn’t support domestic violence — and that they’ll donate proceeds from the burger’s sales to domestic violence charities. Those are just a sampling of the responses though, many people protested that the comments shouldn’t have been taken so seriously. What do you think? Source Facebook More On Bossip! A new batch of Battleship stills show singer-turned-actress Rihanna in Navy gear manning all manner of combat machinery as the resident weapons specialist in Taylor Kitsch ‘s crew. But can her feature debut in Peter Berg’s summer blockbuster counteract the criticism she’s getting from reuniting, at least professionally, with Chris Brown? The stills (below, via Universal and Digital Spy ) hit the web at a conspicuous time for Rihanna, who was assaulted in 2009 by then-boyfriend Brown. After a three-year split, during which time Brown was sentenced to domestic violence counseling and community service and ordered to stay away from Rihanna by restraining order, the two collaborated on a pair of songs released this week. According to producer The-Dream, who oversaw the “Birthday Cake” remix featuring Brown, the move was Rihanna’s idea. “The true thing really is to forgive,” he explained to Billboard Magazine . “And … you want to believe in people.” Some celeb-watchers take the reunion as more than just a professional expression of forgiveness. “The message couldn’t have been clearer to the world,” writes Hollywood Life’s Bonnie Fuller. “We’re a couple again and we’re saying it in the strongest way that we know how — through our music.” That seems like a bit of a stretch, but whatever the relationship, many fans who supported Rihanna as she bounced back from the public fallout of the 2009 incident are understandably upset that the 24-year-old would unite on any front with her former attacker. Enter Battleship . Over a year after the assault, Rihanna was cast as Petty Officer Raikes in Universal’s naval actioner. She’d been looking to break into film already, telling MTV in 2008 that she was looking “seriously” into making her acting debut. Battleship , then, provided a prime opportunity; as Raikes, Rihanna gets to play a strong, serious-minded character involved directly in action sequences whom she’s described as “one of the guys” — as opposed to the film’s eye candy, as embodied in Brooklyn Decker as Kitsch’s love interest. That character quality alone may have been reason enough to break into a side career in acting with Battleship , but it also allows Rihanna to project an image of strength and resilience to her fans. At the helm of a gunboat or wielding assault rifles, she is seen in a position of control and dominance, the would-be executor of violence (against aliens, in this case) instead of a victim. Of course, that’s not to say Battleship will erase the image of Rihanna, battered and bruised, from our collective memories. It certainly shouldn’t, in the least. And it’s not quite a pointed personal statement that, say, a G.I. Jane or a Brave One -styled vigilante pic might be; it’s a subtle move that simultaneously eases first-time actor Rihanna into the movies in a supporting role with more seasoned actors around to do the heavy lifting. Conspicuous as it is that new Rihanna-holding-guns images were released into the world around the same time as her Chris Brown collaborations (joining a few more that were previously released by Universal), it hints at an effort to protect her image from the backlash that any Brown-related association invites. But Battleship has yet to be seen, and Rihanna, who hasn’t yet directly addressed the Brown collaborations, may yet still win back or further alienate her following in the weeks to come.
There was a war happening on Twitter this past Tuesday involving Chris Brown and WWE wrestler CM Punk . The WWE champion sparked the feud by saying he’d like to see Chris Brown fight someone who could defend themselves. Breezy responded by clowning the wrestler by accusing him of taking steroids and not being able to work the middle because his thing is too little. CM Punk has elevated the feud by recording a video challenge to Breezy. Punk posted the video message on TMZ calling Chris Brown out once again. Punk’s message included references to Chris Brown needing a PR team to tell him when to tweet and when to delete tweets. Referencing Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who Brown viciously assaulted, the wrestler also told Chris that he was able to defend himself without bodyguards and would like to challenge the R&B/pop star to a wrestling match where Punk could make Breezy feel as helpless and alone like any other battered female. Of course, the proceeds would go to a battered women’s shelter of their choosing. How much would you pay to see Chris Brown and CM Punk in a wrestling match? Miranda Lambert has continued to publicly berate Chris Brown following her Grammy’s Twitter rant last week. The country superstar made it clear that her feud with Brown, 22, is far from over during a show at the University of Massachusetts Thursday. Prior to performing her song “Gunpowder and Lead,” Lambert, 28, brought out a neon green poster bearing the words “Take notes Chris Brown” to let her fans know that she hasn’t dropped the ball in her campaign against the singer. “Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter,” Lambert told the crowd. “I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately … but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from, beating up on a woman is never okay.” According to E! Online, the singer then smirked, “So that’s why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun.” “Gunpowder and Lead,” a hit off Lambert’s 2007 album, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” is about a woman who prepares to shoot and kill her abusive husband just as soon as he’s released from jail. Earlier in the week, Brown responded to haters with two messages on Twitter that have since been removed. “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F–k OFF!” he wrote following an outpouring of outrage on the social networking site. “I’M BACK SO WATCH MY BACK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy,” he later posted. Both comments no longer appear on the singer’s Twitter feed. In response to his tweets, Lambert posted a smug: “Oh and one more thing for all who are asking … I have a Grammy too.” Yoooooo. We understand having strong feelings about the man performing at the Grammy’s but the Grammy’s are over. Breezy has served his probation and apologized and clearly Rihanna isn’t even looking to “put him back in his place” so what is with Miranda Lambert’s personal vendetta? Wouldn’t she be better served devoting her energy by volunteering with women and kids at a shelter? Or should Breezy just be put out of business for life???? Source Image Via Facebook More On Bossip!
