Nic Cage: Argumentative, WASTED at Tattoo Parlor Prior to Arrest

Surveillance video taken inside a tattoo shop just before Nicolas Cage was arrested this weekend shows the actor drinking and arguing with his wife and others. Cage is clearly shown carrying some sort of drink as he stumbles around, fretting to employees about not recalling where he lived and getting testy with wife Alice. Nic began throwing his clothes around, demanding to get inked up. Intoxicated, he then asked employees to call the cops … ’cause he didn’t know where he lived. Police report that this was the topic he and Alice were arguing over – the address where they’re living while he films Medallion – when he allegedly grabbed her. In the surveillance tape, Cage, holding a clear plastic cup, can be seen with his arms around two friends as he enters. Nic walked out and back in and out again. At that point, he can be seen arguing with his wife and friends. His wife can be seen motioning to herself throughout, as if to say, “Listen to me” or “Come with me.” Eventually, Nic acquiesced and left the shop … only to later be arrested on charges of domestic violence and disturbing the peace, having taunted police to bust him. He was released on $11,000 bail after Duane “Dog” Chapman posted bond for him, which is easily the most random and hilarious part of an already classic story. [Photo: WENN.com]

The Hood Life: Sara Stokes And Her Husband Catch Fade Again

By no means are we making light of domestic violence. But when toxic people choose to stay in their toxic situations, the outcome is usually pretty predictable. According to TMZ , Sara from Making The Band and her hubby went at it again over the weekend. Except this time, he’s the one who ended up in cuffs. Sara Stokes from “Making the Band 2″ was allegedly choked and beaten by her husband Tony, who was thrown in jail after the dispute … TMZ has learned. Sources close to Sara tell us, it all went down last weekend at a friend’s house in Georgia — Tony Stokes accused Sara of being with another man … and then allegedly choked and hit her. According to law enforcement, Tony was arrested for simple battery — and released the next day on $2,000 bail. Tony’s taking it all in stride … telling us, “Everybody speculates and blows things out of proportion. It’s a crazy kind of life. We’re dysfunctional. We need our own TV show. I love my wife.” This isn’t the couple’s first alleged domestic incident — back in 2009, Sara was accused of stabbing Tony after an argument went nuclear. “We’re dysfunctional?” We’re gonna need someone in this situation to love themselves enough to walk away. SMH.

Tom Bergeron won’t be the only one refusing to give Chris Brown a standing ovation tonight. The Dancing with the Stars host has already voiced his displeasure over that controversial star appearing on this week’s results show, and now Cheryl Burke has spoken out against the performance, as well. “As a victim of domestic violence, I don’t agree with him coming on the show, but it’s out of my control,” she told Extra . Earlier this year, Burke opened up about her past and admitted she was molested as a child . It should be an interesting evening on ABC, that’s for sure. Do you think Brown should be welcome on such a national stage?

Chris Brown’s Restraining Order Modified

Singer is now allowed near ex-girlfriend Rihanna if he doesn’t ‘annoy’ her. By Ryan J. Downey Chris Brown Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images Chris Brown is legally allowed near Rihanna again. In a downtown Los Angeles court on Tuesday, a judge altered the restraining order imposed upon the singer following his brutal beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna after a 2009 pre-Grammy Awards party. The restraining order has been replaced by a “level one order.” Brown, who was in court with his attorney Mark Geragos, is now allowed to be around Rihanna, provided he abides by certain conditions. “I’m approving the order,” Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown, according to Radar Online . “You can’t annoy, molest, or conduct surveillance of the person on the order.” Rihanna was not present in the courtroom, but her lawyer, Donald Etra, was. “I have spoken with my client, and she does not object to it being modified to a level one order,” he said. It’s been just over two years since the assault, which resulted in Brown being ordered to stay at least 50 feet away from Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to five years probation and more than 1400 hours of “labor-oriented service.” In November, Schnegg praised Brown for his progress since his initial sentencing. “Of all probationers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had thousands of probationers, no one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have,” the judge said at a progress hearing, and on Tuesday, she spoke positively of Brown’s participation in domestic violence counseling.
