Now, to be fair, The Rock has the ideal build and charisma for the role but just doesn’t give us John Henry who was a big, brolic, Blackity Black slab of suspender-wearing, hammer-slangin, ashy-knuckled man’s man whose legend lived on for generations. So yes, his casting is a big deal that inspired us to pick our very own actors to play the beloved folk hero. (Photo by Jerritt Clark/Getty Images) Fabolous Indicted On Four Felony Charges Over Domestic Violence Arrest Rapper Fabolous is facing some pretty severe charges over his alleged violent brawl with longtime girlfriend Emily B. and her family. Video spread everywhere months ago of Fab threatening Emily B., her father, and brother. The rapper tried to make it go away several times, as we reported, by trying to sort out a plea deal. Ultimately the rapper rejected the state’s deal. This afternoon, TMZ is reporting he was indicted on FOUR felony charges and could serve up 5 YEARS on each charge if found guilty. That’s 20 years total…d-d-d-d-damn!!! Reportedly, a grand jury in New Jersey indicted the rapper last week on 1 count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, 2 counts of threatening to kill and 1 count of possession of a weapon (a pair of scissors). Earlier today we reported that Emily B. and Fab are rumored to have gotten hitched, could this all be fro a reason??? According to to something call the “marital communications privilege”, neither spouse can be compelled to testify as to private, confidential communications between them in either criminal or civil proceedings. So this might work in Fab’s favor. But there’s also video! Ouch! So far Fab nor his team have addressed his new charges. He has, however, referenced life giving him “lemons” in a recent post… This is a lot for Fab and Emil B. to digest right now surely. What do YOU think the outcome of all of this will be?

Melissa Gentz , 22, posted a picture of her bruised and bloodied face on social media. Her attacker was her socialite boyfriend Erick Bretz according to New York Daily News . He allegedly attacked Gentz on September 23 in his downtown Tampa condo tower. Melissa, a University of South Florida student, posted her scars on Instagram three days later writing: “You know how we usually have a side of our face that we prefer more than the other? I like my left side. Unfortunately, it’s the side that was severely bruised by violence,” she captioned the image. “Today was the first day in which I felt like passing some mascara and blush on the right side of my face… I won’t hide the marks of my story because NO woman should feel ashamed of (sic) feel blamed for being a victim of domestic violence.” You can check out Gentz’ graphic pic for yourself here . The bruises Gentz suffered went viral in her native Brazil with over 1 million shares of her photo. Even actress and model Luiz Brunet shared Gentz’s story on her Instagram. Brazilian soap star Joao Vicente de Castro also wrote, “Courageous. Doing what you have done is important and necessary. I’m proud of people like you. We are with you.” Four days after posting her initial photo, Gentz shared another pic of her bruised face, but this time it was nestled in a basket of flowers. “Life moves on and we’re all strong enough to put ourselves first,” she wrote. You can check out that photo here . Erick Bretz’s father owns one of Brazil’s largest grocery chains and he’s also known on the Brazilailan Motocross Championship circuit. Gentz and Bretz were reportedly dating for three months before the September 23 attack. The altercation allegedly grew after Bretz mixed insomnia medication with alcohol. He allegedly kicked Gentz in the face and tried to strangle her with his legs. She also told the cops that he punched her in the face, struck her in the face with a bottle, and pulled out chunks of her hair. Bretz, 25 was arrested on charges of domestic battery by strangulation and tampering with a witness. He was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, then was later released on a $60,000 bail. He has since pleaded not guilty.

OK, so Adam Lind is a truly awful person with zero redeeming qualities. We all know this, and we’ve known it for a very, very long time. It would take forever to list all the ways he is the worst, but let’s at least go through a rundown of his greatest hits, all right? The world was unfortuantely introduced to him because he impregnated Chelsea Houska, who had her own episode of 16 and Pregnant and then went on to be one of the mothers featured in Teen Mom 2. They shared an adorable daughter, Aubree, but it was clear from the beginning that he was not exactly the world’s best dad . Or a dad at all, really. He wasn’t around too much after Aubree was born, or ever, as far as we saw. He and Chelsea broke up, then got back together, and so on and so forth. He was really cruel to her and obviously wasn’t too interested in their kid, but still, she kept taking him back pretty much until she met Cole DeBoer, an actual good person and now, her husband . At some point in that mess, he also began seeing Taylor Halbur, and he had a baby with her, too — a precious little girl they named Paislee. Adam wasn’t around for her, either, and it’s since become clear why. As it turns out, he has a pretty big problem with addiction and domestic violence. He’s been arrested plenty of times for DUIs and driving without a license, that sort of thing, but last year, he failed a court-ordered drug test. Because of meth. Yep, Adam was doing lots and lots of meth , and although he’s not on Teen Mom 2 anymore and hasn’t been for a while, we really don’t have any reason to believe he ever stopped. He was also arrested more than once last year on domestic violence charges — his most recent ex, Stasia Huber stated in court documents that he broke her arm when he was high , then locked her in the house and destroyed her phone. In other court documents for another case, Taylor claimed that he once killed two of her puppies , and that on another ocasion, he knocked her to the ground when she was holding Paislee. So meth, breaking girlfriend’s arms, killing girlfriend’s puppies … how can it get any worse? Oh, just you wait! In one of Adam’s earliest appearances on MTV, he sent a text to Chelsea, who had just given birth to Aubree, to call her a “fat stretch mark bitch.” He also wrote “tell me where and when to sign the rights over for that mistake,” and by “that mistake,” he meant their baby. Now, all these years later, he actually did sign his rights over. Not for Aubree, but for his other daughter, Paislee. Yesterday, Taylor took Adam to court to get things done, as reported by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. It was hardly the first time Taylor took Adam to court — they’ve been many times to deal with custody arrangements, child support, visitation — but it was the last. According to the report, Adam was asked several questions by the judge before everything was made official, and he was required to state that he knew his decision was permanent, and that from here on out, he’d have no rights to Paislee. He did, and just like that, he signed away his rights to his youngest child. As a bit of a happy ending to all of this, South Dakota state law requires that when parental rights are terminated, the rights get transferred to someone else, or to some authorized agency. That was no big deal though, because Taylor’s husband adopted Paislee! He’s been in Paislee’s life for a long time, and it seems like he’s been her dad during all that time anyway, it’s just official now. Unfortunately, this doesn’t affect anything with Aubree. If Chelsea wants Adam to terminate his parental rights to her, too, then she’ll have to get her own court date. But in the past, she’s often followed Taylor’s lead — Taylor got a visitation center involved for Adam long before Chelsea did, for example — and they do speak with each other. Leah Messer’s love life is a subject of constant fascination among Teen Mom 2 fans. For a while there it looked as though Leah would get back together with Jeremy Calvert , but when that reconciliation fizzled out, Ms. Messer quickly rebounded. These days, Leah is dating Jason Jordan , and while he seems to make her immensely happy, some fans have taken issue with the budding romance. Over the weekend, Leah documented her latest couple’s getaway on Instagram, and some fans saw the pics as an opportunity to reiterate their complaints. For one thing, Jason is much older than Leah (she’s 26; he’s 38). It’s not the kind of cradle-robbery that makes you want to alert the authorities, but it’s enough of an age gap to raise a few eyebrows. Especially since despite the fact that he’s pushing 40, Jason still seems to have quite a bit of growing up to do. Naturally, once word of the relationship went public, fans started doing their research and dug up everything they could about Jason. The most interesting thing they unearthed was a series of YouTube videos in which Jason played a character named West Virginia Meth Man. Now, as far as we know, Jason never dabbled in meth himself. And it appears he was just poking fun at some of the more, um … colorful residents of his home state. Still many found the skits to be in poor taste, particularly one video in which Jason (as Meth Man) commented on the Ray Rice domestic abuse scandal. “Just want to make a little comment about Ray Rice,” quoth Meth Man. “Think he can go around punching women in the mouth, knocking them out cold. When I was high on meth one time I did that and nobody got mad. They just expect it out of me!” Now, that’s obviously not the most tasteful joke, but anyone accusing Jason of condoning violence against women would be willfully misrepresenting the bit. Should he have just refrained from joking about domestic violence at all? Probably? But the crux of the gag is that only the most repugnant individuals — your Ray Rices and your Meth Mans — would engage in such behavior. To be clear, the Meth Man routine isn’t particularly funny, and Leah is probably overjoyed by the fact that her boyfriend has retired the character. But a few seriously unfunny skits shouldn’t be a deal breaker — otherwise, Ariana Grande would have to dump Pete Davidson ! Zing! Noam Galai/Getty Images Jocelyn Savage’s Parents Allege That R.Kelly Gave Their Daughter STDs The parents of the woman they believe is being “held captive” by R. Kelly are speaking out. The Pied Piper’s ex-wife Andrea Kelly appeared on “Sister Circle” Wednesday for an exclusive sit-down with host Syleena Johnson where she detailed abuse allegations at the hands of the singer. According to Drea she initially wasn’t strong enough to accept that she was a victim of domestic violence, but she is now. “You have to love somebody enough to tell them enough,” said Andrea. “I don’t believe my ex-husband has enough people in his life to be real with him to be honest with him. I wasn’t strong enough. “How can I be a voice for the voiceless when I don’t have my own?” she added. “I had to get to a point to accept that I’m a victim of domestic violence.” Later Jocelyn Savage’s parents came out and told the hosts that their daughter who they STILL believe is being held against her will was diagnosed with two STDS; herpes and chlamydia after sleeping with the singer. As previously reported another woman in Texas alleged that R. Kelly gave her the untreatable herpes virus and is currently suing him.
