Stop us if you’ve heard this one, but Miss USA is under fire. Rima Fakih is not in crown-losing trouble … yet. But accusations of her “breaking the rules of conduct” have put The Tiara Patrol on high alert. According to Fox News (of course), Fakih was suspected of sneaking out (of where, it’s unclear) to party all night last week, then lying about it. The Miss Universe Organization, which rules over its gorgeous winners with an iron fist, requested security tapes to see if a cover-up occurred. “There was one night last week where [ Rima Fakih ] had some interviews the next day,” says Paula Shugart, the president of the ridiculous organization. “First we thought she wasn’t at the apartment (which she shares in NYC with Miss Universe), and someone was trying to get her to the interview.” “She was sound asleep, and looked like she’d been out all night.” Fakih did make the interviews, but her handlers are still asking about the security tapes, as this is “serious business,” especially after Tara Conner. Conner, of course, was the wild child who nearly lost the crown for her partying ways. Ultimately, Miss USA owner Donald Trump spared her. Unlike the Conner case, Shugart said there is absolutely no evidence to indicate any type of substance abuse problems in Rima’s situation. Nonetheless, Fakih was still made talk to Conner about the incident. Fakih will surrender her crown during the Miss USA Pageant June 20. Given the personal restrictions that come with the gig – you have to be on your best behavior, at all times – it might be a bit of a release. From day one, Fakih has been raising red flags within the organization. Right after her win, pics of her pole-dancing for a promotional event conducted by Detroit morning radio show “Mojo in the Morning” surfaced. But after some investigation by MUO, it was determined that she didn’t breach any moral code of conduct, and thus was not stripped of her sash. “We usually like to keep a handle on them,” Shugart tells Fox. “We have talent managers to keep track, and they are supposed to tell us when they go out.” “Rima is definitely a high spirited, fun person. Donald Trump is not a big fan of Jerry Seinfeld after the comedian reportedly pulled out from an event appearance for the Donald’s son’s charity. Seinfeld was scheduled to attend a September 13 event for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Eric Trump Foundation, but he canceled. According to reports, Jerry bailed based on Trump’s remarks about President Obama , which didn’t sit well with The Donald for a variety of reasons. “I just learned you canceled a show for my son’s charity,” Donald Trump wrote to Seinfeld in an open letter, accusing him of backing out simply: “Because of the fact that I am being very aggressive with respect to President Obama, who is doing an absolutely terrible job as our leader.” Trump, who is considering a 2012 presidential run, didn’t stop there. “We don’t care that you broke your commitment,” he continued, “Even though the children of St. Jude are very disappointed, and despite the fact that your manager previously and clearly stated you are ‘truly a man of his word.'” Trump then took a shot at Seinfeld’s NBC show, The Marriage Ref . “What I do feel badly about is that I agreed to do, and did, your failed show, ‘The Marriage Ref,’ even though I thought it was absolutely terrible.” “Despite its poor ratings, I didn’t cancel on you like you canceled on my son and St. Jude. I only wish I did.” A rep for Seinfeld said he agreed to appear at the event before Trump began questioning the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate. However, “Jerry has grown increasingly uncomfortable” with the Apprentice head honcho. “Jerry … feels this kind of demagoguery has no place in public discourse,” said the rep. “He has respectfully withdrawn from the event, but is making a contribution both to the Eric Trump Foundation and to [St. Jude].” Bret Micheals is slated to fill Seinfeld’s place, the rocker said in a statement. “Donald Trump and his family have been wonderful to me and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital is one of my favorite charities, so I’m honored to have been asked by Eric and the rest of the Trump family to be a part of this event,” he said. “We should never allow the spirit of generosity to be overshadowed by divisive political beliefs,” Bret added in a dig at Seinfeld, “and when it comes to saving the life of a child, there is absolutely no room for political rhetoric.”

Video of Michael Jackson’s last two rehearsals for his 2009 “This Is It” tour could be played in court during Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial. The L.A. County District Attorney filed a motion today asking the judge to allow the rehearsal footage from June 23-24 to be entered as evidence. The D.A. believes the footage supports the testimony from “This Is It” director Kenny Ortega that Michael was “happy and excited for the future.” Michael Jackson Tour Rehearsal It also opposes the defense’s theory that after the last rehearsal, MJ became desperate and “took desperate measures that caused his own death .” The D.A. also filed a motion to allow limited photos from MJ’s autopsy, claiming the pictures are not gory or gruesome and won’t prejudice a jury.
