If you follow him on social media, you know David Eason's gun collection is his favorite thing to talk about. His next favorite topic is politics, which seems to be the case with a lot of people who are obsessed with guns. Unfortunately, David has a hard time separating his gun posts from his political posts. And as a result, he received a visit today from the Secret Service. Turns out, threatening the president can get you into trouble. Who knew! Here's what we know so far about this bizarre situation: 1. The Gunslinger David loves guns. In fact, he’s bragged about the fact that he’s always packing, and he says one of his greatest concerns is that the government will take his weapons away. 2. David and His Weapon Recently, David posted this video on his Instagram page. The caption raised some red flags with government officials. 3. Bump This “They will say I’ve gone off the deep end just wait for it! #bangbangbang #bumpfire #bumpthis #nancypelosi #trump #maga,” David wrote. 4. Terroristic It’s not hard to see how Eason’s post could be interpreted as a threat against Donald Trump and Nancy Pelosi. 5. Not Messing Around The government doesn’t take this sort of thing lightly, and so, David and wife Jenelle Eason received a visit from the Secret Service today. 6. The Feds Come Calling David posted a video on Instagram, which he says was taken seconds after he finished speaking to a Secret Service agent. View Slideshow
Source: The Washington Post / Getty Noel Casler Says Donald Trump Snorts Adderall Comedian Noel Casler was formerly a talent coordinator on Donald Trump’s show Celebrity Apprentice and he recently while performing on stage divulged a very heavy claim against 53% of white women’s president. “He’s a speed freak. He crushes up his Adderall and sniffs it because he can’t read.” Oh yeah, but there’s more. Press play below to hear it straight from the horses mouth. Yikes. Source: Taylor Hill / Getty On Tuesday, the CEO for Google, Sundar Pichai, found himself in an awkward situation when he had to explain Trump’s association with one particular word. According to The Verge , Pichai was being questioned at a House Judiciary Committee hearing where Congress people were trying to decide if Google manipulated search results based on political bias. When Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) stepped up to question Pichai, she wondered why pictures of Donald Trump were the first to show up when the word “idiot” was typed in Google image. “Right now, if you google the word ‘idiot’ under images, a picture of Donald Trump comes up. I just did that,” she said. “How would that happen?” Uuuum… Pichai was ready for Rep. Lofgren. He put forth a general explanation of how Google search engines work: “Any time you type in a keyword, as Google we have gone out and crawled and stored copies of billions of [websites’] pages in our index. And we take the keyword and match it against their pages and rank them based on over 200 signals — things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it. And based on that, at any given time, we try to rank and find the best search results for that query. And then we evaluate them with external raters, and they evaluate it to objective guidelines. And that’s how we make sure the process is working” Any further questions Lofgren??? Luckily, Lofgren was on Pichai’s side and was trying to refute the idea that Google’s search engine was politically motivated. She followed up with another question… “So it’s not some little man sitting behind the curtain figuring out what we’re going to show the user?” Lofgren asked sarcastically. Pichai replied, “This is working at scale, and we don’t manually intervene on any particular search result.” News outlets peeped the “idiot” Trump results earlier this year. They revealed that certain outside parties have something to do with Google’s search results. According to The Guardian , one reason Trump’s face is associated with the word “idiot” is because protesters used Green Day ‘s “American Idiot” song to soundtrack Trump’s trip to London. There’s also been an intentional campaign to associate Trump’s picture with the word by manipulating Google’s algorithms. A lot of this involved people up-voting a Reddit post containing a photo of him and the word “idiot.” Such tactics are known as “Google bombing.” Trump isn’t the first to get Google-bombed either. According The Verge , in the mid-2000s, searches for “miserable failure” notoriously returned results about President George W. Bush. So whether it’s Google bombers or natural Google algorithms, the word “idiot” and Trump can’t help but be linked together. What are ya gonna do. With that being said, we thought we’d share some other words that seem to result in Trump’s face if you Google them. Hit the next pages to find out what they are. Remember… Google did it, not us.

Source: TIMOTHY A. CLARY / Getty Michael Cohen Sentenced To Three Years In Prison Donald Trump ‘s former lawyer Michael Cohen is going to prison for three years for what a judge described as a “veritable smorgasbord of criminal conduct” according to NBCNews . Included in the formal charges are counts of illegal hush payments to women, failing to report millions of dollars in income, and most damningly, lying to Congress about Trump’s business in Russia. Judge William Pauley was most disgusted by Cohen’s greed and used that as a significant reason to hit the janky lawyer with a field goal number. A crying Cohen seemed to accept responsibility for his crimes, but still, wheelbarrowed a pile of blame onto Donald Trump’s Ferragamo dress shoes. “I have been living in a personal and mental incarceration ever since the day that I accepted the offer to work for a real estate mogul whose business acumen that I deeply admired,” Cohen told the judge, saying his blind loyalty to Trump led him to choose “darkness over light.” Boo-the-f**k-hoo. “It was correct but for a much different reason than he was implying. It was because time and time again I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds,” Cohen said. This is a grown-a$$ man who is basically saying he got peer-pressured into lying and essentially stealing money from the government. GTFOHWTBS. Time Magazine Names Four Journalists And A Newspaper As Person Of The Year In recent weeks there has been tons of speculation over who Time Magazine would name as their Person of the Year. While many braced for the possibility that Donald Trump or Putin might win the honor, we’re pretty sure NOBODY saw the actual decision coming. The iconic magazine named assassinated Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Maria Ressa, the co-founder of Phillipine online news site Rappler, the staff of the Capital Gazette and jailed journalists Kyaw Soe Oo and Wa Lone as Person of the Year — collectively calling them “Guardians of Truth.” Watch the video below to see why all of these people are so important and keep reading for more details on all of their journeys this year. What do you think of this year’s covers?
Source: Paul Morigi / Getty D emocrats as recently as Sunday appeared ready to pounce on President Donald Trump after the latest evidence from Special Counsel Robert Mueller ‘s probe suggested the president’s hands were filthy from Russian dirt. And with House Democrats in January taking control of committees directly involved with investigating the president, some incoming committee chairs have talked about the possibility of impeachment. But going after Trump in 2019 was not a priority of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), the group’s newly elected chair Rep. Karen Bass told NewsOne on Monday. “Impeachment is not going to be top on our agenda,” the California congresswoman said during a brief phone conversation. “It doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. But at this point in time, we really think that some of the things our community needs are way more important than us going after impeachment now.” Bass’ comments came ahead of an Associated Press report that Democrats were toning down their aggressive rhetoric about impeaching Trump. At least immediately. See Also: Elijah Cummings Vows Evenhanded Investigation Of Trump Instead Of Dragging The President On Friday, Mueller’s office released findings from its investigation of Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, including damning that Trump was “at the center of a massive fraud,” New York Rep. Jerry Nadler , the incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, recently told the AP . Cohen admitted to overseeing illegal hush money payment to women who allegedly had sexual affairs with Trump in violation of campaign laws. Mueller’s filing also revealed previously unreported contacts between Trump associates and Kremlin representatives seeking to help the Republican nominee secure victory. “There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time,” California Rep. Adam Schiff , who’s expected to chair the House intelligence committee in January, said Sunday. Still, many Democrats were cautious . For one thing, while they will control the House, Democrats will need Republicans’ support in the Senate to remove Trump. That could be a long way off given how partisan members of Congress have been under Trump. There was also concern about a political backlash similar to what happened to Republicans when they tried to remove President Bill Clinton in the late 1990s. “I think impeachment might be something we are forced to do as more evidence comes out, but it doesn’t make sense for us to go there first when there’s no way it would be successful now,” Bass said. One of Bass’ top priority as CBC chair was protecting voting rights for African-Americans, pointing to the gubernatorial election that was stolen from Stacey Abrams in Georgia and the ongoing voter fraud scandal in North Carolina. “We have so much to do, given the last two years of this administration,” she said. “There has been no accountability, where we see him systematically go after gains our community achieved decades ago.” SEE ALSO: Meet Tammy Kemp, The Black Judge Assigned To Amber Guyger Murder Trial For Killing Botham Jean Omarosa Takes A Swipe At John Kelly’s Dismissal As White House Chief Of Staff [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3839541″ overlay=”true”]
T here’s an old saying: what goes around comes around. That’s how Omarosa Manigault Newman responded to news that the White House chief of staff John Kelly , who fired Omarosa last year, was ousted from his job. The former reality TV star called Kelly’s dismissal “karma.” SEE ALSO: Omarosa Kept Away From Trump As John Kelly Limits Oval Office Access President Donald Trump announced Saturday that Kelly will leave his job by the end of this year. Kelly was increasingly isolated in the White House and lost favor with the president, according to the Associated Press . “John Kelly will be leaving — I don’t know if I can say retiring — but he’s a great guy. John Kelly will be leaving at the end of the year. We’ll be announcing who will be taking John’s place — it might be on an interim basis. I’ll be announcing that over the next day or two, but John will be leaving at the end of the year. … I appreciate his service very much,” the president stated. #karma https://t.co/GioEfHOF2B — OMAROSA (@OMAROSA) December 8, 2018 In December 2017, Kelly fired Omarosa who worked at the White House as an aide to Trump. Omarosa provided NBC News with an audio recording in August of Kelly firing her in the Situation Room. “It’s come to my attention over the last few months that there’s been some pretty, in my opinion, significant integrity issues,” Kelly told Omarosa. She took it as a threat when Kelly suggested that a smooth exit from the White House would help her reputation. “I think it’s important to understand that if we can make this a friendly departure we can all be, you know, you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation, and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation,” Kelly said on the tape. Kelly, a retired Marine Corps four-star general came to the White House in June 2017 after serving briefly as Trump’s homeland security secretary. He was expected to be the adult in the room and bring order to the chaotic White House. His no-nonsense approach to managing the White House and who had access to the president alienated some Trump allies, causing him to become isolated to have a diminished role, according to the Associated Press. At the same time, he openly talked about the tribulations of working for the president, which angered Trump. During this time at the White House, Kelly created controversy when he tried to slander Florida’s Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson , who was feuding with Trump over his mistreatment of Army Sgt. La David Johnson ’s widow Myeshia Johnson . Kelly also ignited controversy when he disregarded slavery as a cause of the Civil War and praised Confederate General Robert E. Lee during an interview with Fox News. Source: Bryan Steffy / Getty Another week, another moment of soul-snatching drama and unapologetic bluntness. Celebs and fans alike told us how they really felt this week and there was no sugarcoating in sight. Peep our winners below, then hit the next page for some salty fans who had to take an L. Winners “Over it” First Ladies There’s something about leaving public office that has to be completely liberating, especially for First Ladies. Although they’re not technically elected officials, they tend to be under as much scrutiny as their president husbands. First Ladies might have their own platforms and their own audience, but in certain ways, they still have to keep up a rigid image of womanhood and marriage that’s not always realistic. But now that Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton are out of the larger political spotlight, it seems like they have zero effs to give. Take Michelle for example. She’s currently on a book tour for her new release Becoming and she stopped by the Barclay Center in New York this past Saturday to drop some realness. According to Vanity Fair , Michelle was talking about marriage and she made a reference to the book Lean In by Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg. “Marriage still ain’t equal, y’all,” Michelle said. “It ain’t equal. I tell women that whole ‘you can have it all’—mmm, nope, not at the same time, that’s a lie. It’s not always enough to lean in because that s**t doesn’t work.” Whew! Michelle! After the crowd laughed and applauded, the former FLOTUS continued, “I thought we were at home, y’all. I was gettin’ real comfortable up in here. Alright, I’m back now. Sometimes that stuff doesn’t work.” Get comfortable Michelle! GET COMFORTABLE. Released in 2013, the book Lean In hasn’t necessarily aged well over the years, especially for women of color who aren’t in the corporate world. “Leaning in” to let your presence be known as a woman in the office might not work as well in other aspects of life. When talking about marriage especially, Michelle kept things a little more funky: “People are like, ‘Oh, why’d she talk about marriage counseling?’ I’m like, ‘Duh. Marriage is hard,’ you know. It is hard . . . I love my husband, and we have a great marriage, and we’ve had a great marriage, but marriage is hard work.” Boom. Some ‘Chelly realness for you. Hillary Clinton also didn’t have time for the BS this week when she attended George H.W. Bush ‘s funeral. When 45 a.k.a. Donald Trump arrived, Hillary was NOT about to fake like she liked him. Hillary and her husband were having a GRAND time sitting next to the Obamas at the funeral. They were laughing, ki ki’ing and probably making plans for the next karaoke night. But when Trump and Melania came through, the whole mood of the church pew shifted. The Trumps came to sit next to the Obamas and everyone pretty much shook their hand except for Hillary. Now there’s no telling what was going through Hillary’s mind at the time as it pertains to Trump, but if you watch the footage, it looks like she was completely and utterly OVER IT. Peep the facial at the 0:58 mark below… O V E R I T. Mrs. Clinton had zero time.
