Super Bowl LI might not have been such a fun time for the Atlanta Falcons or for people hoping to show their kids a cautionary tale about how cheaters never prosper, but there are some non-Pats fans and non-presidents who enjoyed the game. Take Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, for example. After Kim went on vacation without Kanye last month, many took it as an indication that the couple was done for good. Now, however, it looks like Kimye enjoyed a super reunion on the day of the big game. Sources say Kim returned to LA over the weekend, and she and Kanye were spotted enjoying a “They seemed to have fun catching up,” an insider tells People magazine. “There was no tension between them. Instead, they both seemed very happy.” The source adds that Kim and Kanye were joined by daughter North and son Saint, and that the entire family seemed to enjoy the festivities. “They spent several hours at the party,” says the source. “Everyone seemed happy!” Granted, “everyone seemed happy” is pretty faint praise, but it’s a step in the right direction. In case you missed it, Kim and Kanye divorce rumors were flying fast and furious for a couple months there, and it looked like there was real reason to believe these two were on the verge of calling it quits. In November, Kanye was hospitalized after an emotional breakdown, and his erratic behavior had reportedly put a serious strain on his marriage. After his release, he and Kim briefly lived in separate homes, in what was reportedly a safety precaution. For a while, they cohabited in Kanye’s post-hospital hideout, and then Kim jetted off to Costa Rica for a family vacation that had been scheduled before West’s latest round of troubles. Obviously, it’s hard to gather a whole lot from one Super Bowl party appearance, but it seems that the Wests are at least attempting to make their marriage work. Even the fact that Kanye has disavowed his support of Donald Trump is being taken as an indication that he’s fighting to make things right with his wife. (Kim was an ardent Hillary Clinton supporter, and many were shocked when West visited Donald Trump back in December.) It’s too soon to say what the future hold for these two, but for now, it seems clear that they both want to make their marriage work. And sometimes that’s enough. Donald Trump Drafts Executive Order Regarding HBCUs Trump wants to change HBCUs for the better supposedly… According to Buzzfeed News , Cheeto Mussolini is promising to sign an executive order regarding historically black colleges and universities, according to close sources who attended last week’s “listening session” in commemoration of Black History Month aka African American Month Bullisht. The three sources with knowledge of the executive order claim Paris Dennard, a political commentator who works on strategic communications for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, brought the matter regarding all historically black colleges and universities during the Uncle Tom meeting. I’ll take Paris over the seven,” Trump said to laughter. According to sources at the meeting, Trump asked what “the Harvard” of HBCUs was. At least three people in the room affiliated with the school said Howard University, located a short distance from the White House in DC. Trump asked how Howard was doing fiscally, with enrollment, and how it had done under President Obama. Sources claim he was “unhappy” on how Obama neglected HBCUs during his administration. There’s no clear explanation of exactly what the hell the executive order will actually do but sources remain hopeful. Federal Judge Files Lawsuit Against Trump’s Travel Ban The people of the United States aren’t here for burnt sienna POTUS’ travel ban on predominantly Muslim countries. The outrage is so vitriolic that a federal judge in Seattle gave a Dikembe Mutombo finger to the whole thing and Donald is PISSED! According to NYDailyNews , a lawsuit has been filed against Trump’s executive order and is ready to fight it all the way to the Supreme Court: “The law is a powerful thing — it has the ability to hold everybody accountable to it, and that includes the President of the United States,” State Attorney General Bob Ferguson said at a press conference after the Friday evening ruling. Washington is the first state to file suit against the order (New York has joined the suit) but several other judges in both Boston and Virginia have also issued restraining order barring deportation of people affect by the ban. The order, signed off by United States District Judge James Robart, argues Trump’s executive action “adversely” affects “areas of employment, education, business, family relations and freedom to travel.” Reversing the action, the suit concluded, is thereby in the public interest. Trump’s resident do-boy boot-licker, Sean Spicer, says the suit is “outrageous” and issued a brown-nosing statement: “The President’s order is intended to protect the homeland, and he has the constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people,” Spicer said in a Friday night statement. Ivanka Trump is feeling the burn as her jewelry line has completely vanished from Neiman Marcus’ website just a day after Nordstrom told the New York Times they’d decided not to sell her shoes this season. “In this case, based on the brand’s performance, we’ve decided not to buy it for this season,” Nordstrom said in a statement to the New York Times . The jewelry line included a $12,000 diamond bracelet which was once promoted after the President’s daughter wore it on camera during an official event — definitely blurring the line of propriety. While Neiman Marcus hasn’t yet revealed a reason for removing the dozen or so items from Trump’s line, there are several theories — including the boycott being promoted by the group Grab Your Wallet, which operates via the #GrabYourWallet hashtag.
