Obama Wants To Know If Russia Rigged The Election President Obama has ordered American intelligence agencies to produce a full detailed report on what may be proof that Russian hacks may have influenced the 2016 presidential election. There have been rumors about proof that Russia has been trying to steal government emails and leak its contents as well as probe and tamper with the American vote-counting system, but the U.S. has been reluctant to make public any of their findings; they fear it will reveal sources and methods of how the incursions were traced back to Russia Trump has consistently questioned and denied whether hacking happened. He has suggested that the effort to blame Russia was, in fact, an effort to discredit him and his campaign victory.
About a decade ago, Chris Crocker rose to viral infamy. Long before Chewbacca Mom and other random people dominated the news for 15 Minutes here and there, Crocker sky-rocketed into an Internet sensation without the assistance of Twitter or Facebook. He did so as the result of the following video, in which Crocker begged, pleaded and cried for people to leave Britney Spears alone, back when the singer was experiencing a few personal and professional hiccups. Actually, to be more accurate, Crocker begged, pleaded and cried for people to LEAVE BRITNEY SPEARS ALONE , as you can see below: Chris Crocker: LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE! In response to this emotional video, Crocker was the victim of mockery and derision by complete strangers and also by the media. For years, really. So the young man knows a thing or two about getting made fun of. He speaks from experience. And he’s now using that experience to call out none other than Donald Trump. Crocker – who hasn’t really been heard from since the fallout of his viral video and who says on Twitter that he likes “food” and to speak his “mind” – hilariously wrote the following this week: As you can see above, Crocker simply could not handle Trump claiming on Twitter that the press isn’t handling him with accuracy or honor. The guy was elected President of the United States. You would think that might satisfy his very fragile ego; or at least make him realize that he has to act more like a dignified human being than as a scorned sixth grader. Instead, Trump jumps on Twitter every time Saturday Night Live offends his sensibilities or nearly anyone in the country criticizes his behavior. “Hi. I’m the “Leave Britney Alone guy”. I was a meme & laughing stock for 10 years. I delt it,” wrote Crocker in his perfect Tweet, concluding as follows: “You’re the President-Elect. Grow up.” We’d say this was no big deal and that we’ll never hear from Crocker again, but have you seen how Donald Trump operates?!? The dude recently re-Tweeted some random 16-year old just because he agreed with what the teenager wrote. Do you really think Trump is above engaging with Chris Crocker on social media?!? And by engaging , we mean insulting , of course. So, while we await Trump to start a feud with someone best known for imploring the universe to give Britney Spears a break, allow us to offer Crocker a compliment. We don’t want him to feel bad when Trump inevitably goes off, so hopefully he reads this and remembers it. Hopefully he takes our words to heart. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is almost unquestionably the most highly-anticipated film of 2016. And, of course, as with any major Star Wars release, the film became the subject of intense online scrutiny months before its release, thus generating word-of-mouth that usually serves as free advertising for Disney. Now, however, a week before it hits theaters, Rogue One is at the center of a heated debate that could wind up hurting its box office receipts for the most bizarre reason imaginable. Past Star Wars controversies have centered around mixed responses to story developments within the franchise, or retroactive changes to the original films. Sadly, the Rogue One debate has taken a much more sinister tone that says more about our nation’s current political climate than about George Lucas’ film franchise. On Thursday, the hashtag #DumpStarWars began trending on Twitter, and it quickly became clear to any fan who investigated that this was not the result of some spirited critiques of the series’ creative shortcomings. While it’s unclear how it originated, the hashtag has proven popular among white nationalists and members of the “alt-right,” both movements that have been tied to the KKK and other hate groups. The most common complaint is that the film (which the outraged have not yet seen) is “anti-white” and espouses a “feminist agenda,” because the cast is multi-cultural and the film’s main character is a woman. The baffling outrage began back when the first Rogue One trailer was released online several months ago, with YouTube commenters describing the film as “nothing but a Jew masturbation fantasy of anti-White hate.” The bigoted movement gained steam back in November, when two of the film’s screenwriters, Chris Weitz and Gary Whitta, pointed out that the Empire has always been an obvious metaphor for Hitler’s regime. “Please note that the Empire is a white supremacist (human) organization,” Chris Weitz tweeted. Whitta retweeted the statement, adding: “Opposed by a multi-cultural group led by brave women.” Indeed, fantasy and science-fiction films and literature have a long history of advancing (usually left-wing) political causes, but don’t tell that to the chronically butthurt boycotters who are currently stamping their tiny feet and holding their breath til they turn blue all over social media. Some lowlights (complete with newly-trendy #FakeNews): “Stop using your multiculturalism anti-American agenda in a science fiction Disney movie. We just want to enjoy a fun movie.” “Just got a full refund on my Rogue One tickets. Keep your politics out of my galaxy.” “Star Wars writers rewrote and reshot Rogue One to add in Anti Trump scenes calling him a racist. Disgusting.” “Rogue One is an anti-Trump propaganda film. BOYCOTT!!! Trump supporters!” “#DumpStarWars Race baiting will not be tolerated.” On the sane side, the situation might be best summed up by David Slack, who tweeted: “If Star Wars — an obvious allegory about Nazism — feels like an attack on your candidate, the problem isn’t with Star Wars…” Of course, our favorite #DumpStarWars tweet belongs to the incomparable Patirck Monahan, who writes: “After the election they changed the title of ROGUE ONE to DONALD TRUMP HAS A TINY WIENER? I’ll be spending my money elsewhere!” On point as always, @PattyMo. As for the anticipated impacted on the film’s bottom line – something tells us Disney will be just fine.
Back in Farrah Abraham endorsed Donald Trump for president . Now, the evil clown of the Teen Mom franchise is taking a page from her political counterpart’s playbook. Or at least copying and pasting some of his angriest tweets. As we reported earlier, Farrah is feuding with Kailyn Lowry in one of the most one-sided celebrity feuds in recent memory. Basically, Farrah is engaging in one of her usual bullying campaigns; Kailyn is standing up to her; and absolutely no one is on Farrah’s side, which is enough to give us a shred of hope in the future of humanity. For reasons that remain unclear, Farrah recently accused Kailyn of getting pregnant for a second time in order to remain relevant. Considering Kailyn was in her twenties, married, and already starring on a reality show at the time of her second pregnancy, it was sort of an odd claim to make. Kailyn pointed this out and also criticized Farrah for picking a fight with Amber Portwood on the latest reunion show, and that was enough to make Farrah change course and lock onto a new target, like some sort of surgically-enhanced Terminator. “Hey @F1abraham, do you ever have anything nice to say about anyone?” Kailyn tweeted yesterday, in response to Farrah’s latest trash-talk. “Yes real people who aren’t fake puppets of @mjfree production company,” Farrah replied, referring to the company that produces Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 . “Thanks for asking sweetie hope you stay out of the drama.” “Hard to stay out of it when you bring my name into interviews and say I got pregnant to stay relevant,” Kailyn aptly pointed out. Realizing the entirety of Teen Mom Twitter had Kailyn’s back, Farrah stopped replying and started trying to play the victim: “I never said anything and I have no idea why she’s causing a fight to get attention,” Farrah told Radar Online in a recent interview. “I’m over all the other Teen Moms and I’m bored with their antics.” Farrah is often and accurately described as not all that bright, but she’s realizes that Trump’s America is a place where facts hold no power, and idiocy is no longer a detriment. Donald Trump Is Time’s Person Of The Year Time Magazine has a long history for their Person of the Year award. They’ve named people like Hitler and Putin as Men of the Year, which is important to note. The magazine isn’t necessarily celebrating these people. Instead they are highlighting people for their influence. 2016’s edition goes to Donald Trump . While many think this is an endorsement of Trump, the cover may reveal something else. Naomi Judd is pretty much a national treasure at this point. Which is why it’s extra hard to have to hear that she went through such dark times — times dark enough that she thought it’d be better to take her own life. Naomi, mother of Ashley Judd and former Wynonna Judd , was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 1991 when she was at the peak of her career. However, in a brand-new interview with People magazine, Judd revealed that it wasn’t the disease that became intolerable for her. Judd reported that in 2013, she went through the darkest depression of her life — so dark, in fact, that she contemplated suicide. On heavy-duty medication cocktails, Judd revealed that she was admitted to various psych wards, and had been to therapy myriad times. Things got so bad that Naomi revealed she began plotting her own demise — jumping from a bridge nearby her Tennessee home. Judd told People, “Nobody can understand it unless you’ve been there.” “Think of your very worst day of your whole life — someone passed away, you lost your job, you found out you were being betrayed, that your child had a rare disease,” she trailed off. “You can take all of those at once and put them together and that’s what depression feels like.” Judd also revealed that a part of her lapse into a bottomless pit depression was a direct result of sexual abuse by an uncle, and detailed a depression so deep that she wouldn’t leave her home. “I literally couldn’t leave the house for weeks,” Judd revealed. “I was completely immobilized and every single second was like a day.” “It’s so beyond making sense but I thought, ‘Surely my family will know that I was in so much pain and I thought they would have wanted me to end that pain [through suicide],’ ” she reasoned. Judd eventually began to emerge from the darkness, and penned her new memoir, River of Time: My Descent Into Depression and How I Emerged With Hope . Though she’s in a much better place than she was over the last four years, she stated she’s not out of the woods yet. “I’m still trying desperately trying to help myself,” she said. “There’s never going to be a pill for it all.” “Those thoughts of suicide don’t come anymore. But I’m vulnerable. I know I can backslide,” Judd admitted. Naomi also claimed that the side effects of the many medications she has to ingest have taken their toll on her. Judd said that she’s lost her hair, experiences tremors in her hands, and has a swollen face as a result of the meds’ side effects. But she’s alive, and she’s trying — and that’s what really matters. Memoirs apparently run in the family — daughter Ashley Judd, sexually abused as a child as well — wrote her own in 2011, and Naomi had some hurt feelings after the book was released. About daughter Judd’s book, All That is Bitter and Sweet , Naomi said, “I will probably get around to reading it, because as a mom, I certainly want to honor her reality,” “I was horrible,” Naomi said. “I didn’t know any better.” What a mess, but it’s incredibly brave that Naomi has decided to come forward and address and attack these issues head-on.
