Because he kissed up to The Donald, the future for Billy Bush is all but over at The Today Show. According to both The Hollywood Reporter and The Los Angeles Times, the embattled anchor is negotiating his way off the morning program. It is expected that he will leave under what both sides will likely deem some kind of “mutual” arrangement, with a buyout involved and Bush avoiding the fate of actually being fired. But his departure comes as no surprise. Bush has been in the center of the news for all the wrong reasons for several days now. On Friday afternoon, The Washington Post released a video from 2005. It featured Bush and Donald Trump laughing about the latter’s sexual exploits with women, as Bush egged Trump on and found his description of how he just grabs a female by the genitals whenever he feels like it to be hilarious. Totally cool and awesome and hilarious. The stars were aboard an Access Hollywood bus, on the way to the set of Days of Our Lives, when Bush spotted Arianne Zucker. “Sheesh, your girl’s hot as sh-t. In the purple. Yes! The Donald has scored,” Bush said like an absolute moron upon seeing Zucker, with whom Trump was to film a cameo. You can watch the idiotic and immature exchange between Bush and Trump below: Donald Trump & Billy Bush: Lewd Comments Caught on Video Soon after the tape went viral and Trump’s campaign when into a tailspin, Bush issued an apology. “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed,” he said on Friday. “It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago – I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.” As far as apologies go, it’s a solid one. It’s simple, contrite and to the point. But it also appears to be a case of way too little, way too late. According to The Los Angeles Times, female producers and personalities on The Today Show made it known since this news broke that they don’t want to work with Bush. A previous report had said Bush wasn’t very popular on set even before this video went public. With Today locked in an ongoing ratings battle with Good Morning America, the program cannot afford this kind of publicity. It also cannot afford guests canceling an appearance with Bush and heading over to GMA instead. Bush only joined NBC News in August as co-host of the show’s third hour, alongside Al Roker and Tamron Hall; it didn’t help his cause that Bush was so new to the series. “He doesn’t have enough time there to warrant anyone of substance going out of their way to help him,” said a Times insider. It’s also worth noting that females represent 68% of the audience in this third hour. So it’s pretty easy math and logic. It’s not hard to see why producers saw no way to move forward with Bush. The annoying host has allegedly been distraught ever since the video emerged last week, but he’ll probably end up with a big six or even seven-figure buyout check after all is said and done. So life could be worse for Billy Bush. It also helps a little that the other men on this scandalous video is running to be President of the United States. Donald Trump has sucked up most of the negative attention, similar to how Bush is sucking up to him in the video. Both of these guys suck, pretty much. Billy Bush has issued an apology for his role in the video that may truly sink Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign. Earlier on Friday, The Washington Post released extensive footage from 2005. It features Trump and Bush having a conversation that they believed was off the record, talking in a lewd manner about women… about having sex with women… and other vulgar things about women. Donald Trump & Billy Bush: Lewd Comments Caught on Video Trump, of course, is receiving the bulk of the attention for this video. Which makes sense. The guy is running for President of the United States. And he did make such comments in the video as: “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. I did try and f–k her. She was married.” (He was allegedly talking about Nancy O’Dell at the time.) “Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.” “Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” noting that “when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.” Donald Trump, nominee for the most powerful office in the land, said all of these things and more – while he married to Melania Trump. But Bush played his role in the scandalous footage as well. The conversation took place as Trump and Bush were on board an Access Hollywood bus, just as they were arriving on the set of Days of Our Lives to tape a segment about a cameo Trump was filming for the soap opera. At various times, Bush eggs Trump on and seems quite impressed by his womanizing ways and offensive language. In response to the tape’s release, Bush has said the following: “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago – I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.” Pretty simple and straightforward. What else could someone in his situation say? Trump has answered that question. This was his supposed mea culpa and explanation in light of his latest scandal: “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.” Ah, yes. The classic if you were offended non-apology apology. Also, come on: Does even the harshest Bill Clinton hater think the ex-President made comments remotely similar to this to Trump back in the day? And/or: Who cares if he did?!? Does that make Trump’s actions any more excusable? “I moved on her very heavily,” Trump says elsewhere in the video of O’Dell. “In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture. “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t–s and everything. Part of Donald Trump’s taxes were leaked to the N.Y. Times over the weekend, anonymously, casting the real estate mogul in an unflattering light. A glimpse at Trump’s returns from 1995 shows he claimed $916 in losses, and, as a result, may or may not have paid taxes for 18 years. Who sent the returns? One theory centers on his second ex-wife: Maples was the woman with whom the future Republican presidential candidate infamously cheated on his first wife, Ivana, back in 1989. There’s no love lost between them, to put it mildly. The New York Times’ anonymous gift was delivered not on a silver platter, but in a manila envelope with a Trump Tower return address. Why does that implicate Marla? It doesn’t. But she was married to the Donald in 1995 (from 1993-99 to be exact), so these would have been her tax returns as well as his. Then there’s this tidbit: As New York Magazine points out, there’s an arrow on the first page of the document, pointing to Marla Maples’ signature on the document. We know. That proves nothing. However, it has long been speculated that Maples bears some resentment toward the reality TV star. The two have one child, 22-year-old daughter Tiffany Trump, who has publicly supported him during his run for the presidency this year. Marla has long resented Don for not playing a big role in her life, however; Tiffany was raised almost entirely by Marla on the West Coast. Given that the rest of Trump’s adult children are immersed in the family business, and campaign, back in NYC, this theory isn’t far-fetched. Then there’s this tweet from the weekend: Is she cryptically delighting in his misfortune? While it’s true that no one posts comments like that unless they’re looking for some degree of attention, it’s not enough to implicate her. Even if it were Marla, don’t expect her to take any credit. Whomever leaked Trump’s taxes may have just committed a federal offense. We would also be remiss to omit the fact that the three pages of Trump’s 1995 tax return do not show him doing anything illegal, whatsoever. His declaration of a $916 million loss allows him to take advantage of the tax code to avoid paying taxes on profits, legally, for years. It’s not clear at all if he did or did not do this. Of course, whether this dents Trump’s credibility or hurts his self-proclaimed status as a “winner” or mouthpiece of the American worker? Does it hurt a man leading a “movement” against a “rigged” government to be seen using loopholes for his own personal wealth enhancement? Moreover, does the fact that Trump lost $916 million in a year hurt his image as a business genius? Or contrarily, does this return bolster that claim? These are questions voters will have to decide.

Hillary Clinton is not a fan of the way Donald Trump speaks about women. Both Hillary and Donald are rival presidential candidates and have been exchanging jabs in the media for quite some time. That’s sort of what happens, but Hillary has taken issue with a lot of Trump’s comments towards women. His comments are actually despicable. Fat-shaming Alicia Machado was not Trump’s finest moment and people are outraged with the words that have escaped his mouth. He took aim at Alicia due to gaining weight during her Miss Universe reign. That’s totally not okay, but it lifted the lid on some of the other things he has said over the years. A clip from Showbiz Tonight has been doing the rounds on the internet, for all the wrong reasons. Is there ever right reasons when Trump is concerned? The clip involves Donald trashing a pregnant Kim Kardashian. Yes, it was about her weight. “She’s gotten a little bit large, revealed Trump. “I would say this, I don’t think you should dress like you weigh 120 pounds.” Shaming a woman about her weight is a big no-no. The fact he also trashes pregnant women further fuels the fact that he’s not a very nice person. Trump has also targeted Rosie O’Donnell and made fun of her. Hillary Clinton has now spoke out in defense of the three women. “What kind of man stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?” asked the former First Lady. She continued, “Alicia deserves praise for courageously standing up to Trump’s attacks. And he has the gall to blame her — and say he ‘helped’?” Clinton went on to note, “Trump obsessively bullies Rosie O’Donnell — an accomplished actor. He insulted Kim Kardashian for her weight — when she was pregnant. Pathetic.” “We’ve heard Donald’s insults for years, and his policies reflect this disregard — even contempt — for women,” Clinton added. Both Clinton and Trump faced off in the Presidential Debate, which was televised on September 26.
