Taylor Swift, Cara Delevigne to Guest Star on Girls!

We didn’t think it was possible, but Girls is about to get even girlier.  Turns out, Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham are longtime friends (of course) and after years of persuading, Taylor has finally agreed to do a cameo on Dunham’s hit HBO series.  Lena Dunham Talks Taylor Swift And it looks like Taylor won’t be taking her trip to Williamsburg alone. Model and Michelle Rodriguez make-out partner Cara Delevigne will also be appearing in the show’s fourth season which is already filming in Brooklyn. In the past Girls has featured cameos from the likes of Richard E. Grant, Louise Lasser, and Patti LuPone. I t seems this season, however, Dunham and the producers have decided to pursue guest stars their audience has actually heard of.  So why the sudden shift from aging Z-listers to young, hot celebs?  Well, for one thing, as a fan of the show, Taylor reportedly came cheap: “Taylor loves the show,” says an insider. “Lena would love her to take on a more permanent role and maybe pen some music for the show.” You heard right: Taylor Swift will right music for Girls , because apparently there wasn’t already enough estrogen pumping though the veins of that show. On the plus side, based on  Taylor’s Instagram bikini selfies , it seems she’ll be able to add some much-needed sex appeal to Girls . Happy 36th Birthday, James Franco!

James Franco is an American actor, director, screenwriter, producer, teacher, author and poet, according to the stirring first line of his Wikipedia page. He is also 36 years old today, born one day before what would have been the most appropriate celebrity birthday ever. Just missed 4/20, man. So close. When he’s not making out with Seth Rogen , trying to pick up underage girls on Instagram or calling N.Y. Times critics bitches , he does actual work, and lots of it. He’s as educated and versatile as he is talented, awkward and hilarious, making for a rare combination in today’s often banal, celebrity-obsessed culture. It’s hard not to think foundly of the guy. Weddings in the land of Westeros tend to end badly, so dress designers were probably a bit surprised when brides-to-be across the globe began requesting Game of Thrones -inspired bridal gowns. Natalie Dormer’s topless photos may have caught the attention of male GoT  fans, but it was it the rose-and-thorn adorned wedding dress that Natalie wore during Margaery Tyrell’s wedding to Prince Joffrey that’s caught the attention of female viewers. Yes, despite its unique cut and color, the dress Dormer wore during the so-called “Purple Wedding” has become a fan favorite and is expected to appear in several GoT -themed ceremonies this upcoming wedding season. The dress has made a star of the HBO series’ costume designer Michele Clapton, who says the dress was inspired by the Tyrell family’s rose sigil and the form-fitting cut of the grown represents Margaery’s desire to break with tradition (and piss off Joffrey’s mother, Cersei). Spoiler alert  (although we’re of the opinion that if you’re behind on the show, you should probably avoid Thrones -themed web news): King Joffrey gets killed at the Purple Wedding, the victim of a murder plot that’s not resolved by the episode’s end. So hopefully women who felt inspired by the event won’t take their homages any further than emulating Margaery’s style. C’mon, who doesn’t want this?” Erin Andrews ‘ questioning didn’t go over so well. “Oh my God,” Peta replied, as she wiped her brow uncomfortably. Maslow added: “You can’t have a baby while you’re dancing, alright? HBO’s blockbuster fantasy series Game of Thrones has been renewed through at least 2016. Seasons 5 and 6 of the show have been ordered, executives confirmed. The no-brainer decision from the premium cable network ensures that Game of Thrones Season 5 and 6 will follow Season 4, which kicked off Sunday night. A series-record 6.6 million viewers saw the Season 4 premiere, breaking online piracy records and briefly crashing HBO Go , the network’s streaming service. The first episode of 2014, “Two Swords,” became the network’s most watched episode of any show since The Sopranos’ 2007 finale (11.9 million viewers). Suffice it to say, the series is only becoming more popular with time. In an effort to continue that upward trajectory, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Since its 2011 debut, GoT has met or exceeded the high expectations set by HBO, setting a new high water mark this spring, with no apparent end in sight. A series-record 6.6 million viewers saw the Season 4 premiere, breaking online piracy records and briefly crashing HBO Go , the network’s streaming service. The first episode of 2014, “Two Swords,” became the network’s most watched episode of any show since The Sopranos’ 2007 finale (11.9 million viewers). Suffice it to say, the series is only becoming more popular with time. In an effort to continue that upward trajectory, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Taylor Swift seems a little old to be letting her parents run her career, but sources close to the singer say that’s exactly what she’s doing…and they’re running it right into the ground. Even though they’re now legally separated Scott and Andrea Swift apparently remain united over their favorite activity: micro-managing Taylor and the people around her. One anonymous insider tells the New York Post that Taylor’s parents are “difficult and controlling”  and adds that the former couple is making it impossible for management and musicians to work with Taylor. “Taylor’s parents are incredibly difficult to deal with,” says the source. “They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s–t, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor.” Terrible parents, eh? They may explain a lot – like why she’s dated half of Hollywood and  Karlie Kloss is the only person who can stand to be around her! We kid, of course. Taylor may have her diva side, but she recently visited cancer patients , and celebs who’ve worked with her in the past have reported that she’s a pleasure. It was a busy week as some of the boob tube’s best shows brought us plenty of pleasing flesh! Game of Thrones didn’t miss a beat (off) by featuring the fully nude return of Josephine Gillan ! Josephine first doffed her duds in Season 3, and somehow she looks even better a year later, baring all three b’s yet again!
