We recently learned that Anna Duggar didn’t have sex with her disgraced, cheating husband for nearly a year after he checked into rehab. Turns out his family won’t touch him either (so to speak). While it may seem like Josh Duggar is being slowly re-introduced into public life, everyone is clearly still wary of any association with him. The Duggars are in Big Sandy, Texas, attending a week-long convention for Christian families who adhere to a common set of beliefs. (Follow this link for our recent breakdown answering the question what religion are the Duggars and what those beliefs entail.) They announced that the “whole family (minus Jill and Derick) is heading to Big Sandy for their homeschool conference for the week!” Yes, including Josh … not that you’d know. In photos from the event, the expectant couple has been carefully avoided, though their two-year-old daughter Meredith was spotted. Josh and Anna did appear in one picture of a large family gathering, though they are MIA from any solo shots or other group images. Beyond the fact that his sex scandals have made Josh into a human third rail, criticism directed at Anna may also give the family pause. Currently pregnant with her fifth child, Anna has been criticized by many for standing by her man (she can’t win either way with fans). In any case, the silence can be deafening. When the world first learned that Anna was expecting for the fifth time, she and Josh revealed the news on the family Facebook page. While they are always congratulating their younger siblings on similar life milestones, Jill and Jessa Duggar were radio silent this time. In fact, it may only increase the scrutiny. The impression is that every public appearance or social media mention of him is carefully crafted and unavoidable. Almost involuntary.  Discussion of where the scandals left Josh Duggar’s net worth , or what he’s doing to make a living now, are extremely common online. There’s also debate over where he’s living or whether he’s become so depressed that he can’t function as an equal parent with Anna. This image of Josh, posted by Pickles 4 Truth , shows him with an unkempt appearance at the Creation Museum in Kentucky last month: Josh is looking a little worse for the wear. Moreover, a hot photo of Jana Duggar holding Meredith at Big Sandy drew attention, and not just due to how beautiful “Cinderella” is. Coupled with reports that he doesn’t help Anna at all, Duggar obsessives are wondering how dependent Josh has become on his family. Some have even wondered if they’ve moved in with Jim Bob. One fan asked: “Are the Duggar family raising Josh and Anna’s children?” At the very least, they’re believed to be living close to the family compound in Arkansas, where he toils away doing whatever it is he does. Jinger Duggar: Pregnant With First Child! (Report)

After weeks of rumors, several media outlets are now confirming the news that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her first child. Jinger married Jeremy Vuolo back in November, and at the time, the couple told fans that they planned on starting a family as soon as possible. Last week, photos which some fans believe showed Jinger concealing a baby bump further fueled speculation, and now Duggar insiders have reportedly leaked the news. Not surprisingly, sources claim the Duggars are holding back on confirming the reports so that they can make the reveal to fans on a future episode of the family’s reality show, Counting On:  “Jinger and Jeremy are keeping the news under wraps to promote the upcoming season of Counting On,” an insider tells In Touch. The source adds that the pregnancy may prompt Jinger and Jeremy to relocate: “No one would be surprised if they moved back to Arkansas to be with her family.” There’s been no official word yet from Jinger or Jeremy, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the reports are bogus. In the past, the Duggars have gone to great lengths to conceal pregnancies and other big developments from fans until they felt the time was right. When Jessa Duggar was pregnant with her second child , the family managed to keep the news to themselves until well into her second trimester. No mean feat considering the amount of fan scrutiny on her every social media post. Unfortunately, it may be quite some time before Duggar devotees find out for sure if Jinger is expecting, as Counting On isn’t scheduled to return to TLC until sometime this summer. When asked about her pregnancy plans in a recent interview with People magazine, Jinger spoke only in the vaguest terms: “We are just enjoying our life together,” she told the magazine. “We will see what the Lord does.” Some fans have noted that Jinger didn’t mention being pregnant in a recent update she posted to her family’s official blog. Burt again, that doesn’t mean much. The Duggars have based their empire on controlling when and how information about their personal lives is revealed. Jana Duggar: Courting Lawson Bates?!

Jana Duggar has long been the odd woman out. While her younger sisters marry and start families, the beautiful, maligned eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle toils away at their behest. Is that finally, blessedly, about to change?! As long as there have been Duggar courtship rumors, Jana Duggar has been the one who fans would probably most like to see marry. Yet at 27 years old, she remains single. That’s not abnormal in most families, but her sisters Jill, Jessa, Jinger are already married. Joy-Anna is only 19 and she isn’t far behind. One can see why speculation about Jana’s love life has always piqued the interest of Duggar Nation, and why recent reports got us excited. A male counterpart has been whispered about in the past few months, especially after someone sent Jana flowers on Valentine’s Day . There was even talk of Jana being forced into courting by her parents , who were finally releasing her from de facto indentured servitude. Who is the alleged mystery man, though? To those who watch Counting On online , and who have followed the famous family on social media over the years, he may be a familiar face: Lawson Bates. Yes, the one and only. One of the stars of TV’s Bringing Up Bates , Lawson also has 18 siblings and comes from a Christian family well acquainted with hers. A handsome, aspiring country / bluegrass / gospel singer, the 24-year-old Tennessee native has been tight with Jana Duggar for years. As well as with some of her siblings … one of whom he was previously rumored to be in a romantic relationship with. Remember that?! Rumors of Jinger Duggar courting Lawson in secret set the web on fire back in 2015 after they were cozying up at Amy Duggar’s wedding. Obviously, Jinger went on to marry Jeremy Vuolo and not Lawson, but has her sister Jana officially found love with this great catch? According to the Bates Family Blog, which is run by friends of the family, parents Gil and Kathy Jo said that would be news to them. Kelly Jo Bates said, “I think that probably Lawson and Jana would both be shocked by that news, although we have heard that rumor.” “They are very good friends,” Lawson’s mom added, but: “No courtships that either of our families are aware of.” The Duggar family trip to see the Bates last month in Tennessee likely sparked the rumor, as both sides have been sharing many photos. Lawson personally added fuel to the fire when he posted an April Fools’ Day pic of himself wearing a suit and a wedding ring. He captioned the image, “If guys acted like girls.” None other than Jana’s twin brother John David appears to be in that photo (above), so it’s easy to see how this whole thing got started. Alas, Jana is still single , which she admits is hard. “When all the married siblings are getting together and you can’t go along because you’re not part of ‘that’ group,” she recently lamented. “I know how it feels to wait for ‘Prince Charming’ to come along. I’m still waiting,” she said, a hint of real emotion starting to break through. “Waiting is not always easy. Especially in those times.” “But waiting doesn’t mean sitting and literally waiting. My parents have always encouraged each of us to serve those around us.” “Whether you are a young kid waiting to be finished with school, a young person waiting to get married, then once married.” “Waiting to have a child, waiting for your children to go up.”  “No, we need to be busy with wherever God has us and being content and joyfully serving Jesus,” Jana told Crown of Beauty magazine. These two are way too hot not to be a thing, and clearly get along well, so as arranged courtships go, what’s the holdup?! Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar: Blaming Anna For Josh’s Cheating?!

Shortly after the world learned that Josh Duggar molested five young girls when he was in his teens, the Duggars were beset by yet another scandal involving their eldest son’s sexual impropriety. When the infidelity-facilitating website Ashley Madison was hacked in August of 2015, Josh was revealed to be its most high-profile client. We still don’t know if Josh succeeded in his efforts to cheat on his wife, Anna, but we do know what his intentions were. In the wake of Josh’s second scandal, the Duggars went into damage control mode. Josh was sent to rehab to undergo a “faith-based” course of treatment for his sex addiction, and when he returned home six months later, his family basically kept him hidden from sight. So it would appear that though he avoided jail time for his adolescent sex crimes, Josh learned a hard lesson about fidelity after getting caught cheating on his wife. But as we’ve seen before, the Duggars are in object lesson in the many ways in which appearances can be deceiving. Less than two years after Josh checked into rehab, everything in his life has basically returned to normal. Josh and Anna are expecting their fifth kid ; the rest of the Duggars are back on TV; and while his career as a lobbyist/reality TV star may have come to an end, Josh is reportedly making a fine living for himself as the proprietor of several used car dealerships. Needless to say, fans are growing concerned that any lessons learned might now be forgotten. And their worst fears seem to have been confirmed by recent comments from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar regarding their views on infidelity. The couple frequently speaks at marriage retreats and in a video uploaded yesterday, Colorado-based pastor Kenny Batson recalled an encounter with Jim Bob and Michelle at such an event. Addressing his congregation, Batson recollected: “ At the marriage retreat — Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar helped us do it, and at the end of it, they were getting ready to go home, and Jim Bob caught me out in the hall and says, ‘You know what,’ he says, ‘I have to go back in here and do a little more teaching.’” “What they talked about was this matter right here. Intimacy in marriage. And Michelle said something that I’d never thought, I mean I knew of it but I never thought like she put it. “She said ‘Ladies, your husband can get his laundry done by other women, he can have his meal cooked by other women, he can have all kinds of things done for him by other women, but there’s only one woman who can meet that strong need he has that God put in him, and its you. Only you, lady .’” In the past, the Duggars have been accused of blaming Anna for Josh’s infidelity, and many fans see these latest comments as Michelle’s way of doubling down on those views. Michelle seems to be implying that Josh was simply acting on the “strong need that God put in him” and that Anna wasn’t satisfying his needs in the bedroom. Batson puts an even finer point on it, summing up Michelle’s comments thusly: “It is one of the greatest sins of women today, is a self-centered narcissistic view of how they are to have control of their bodies. The Bible says your body is not your own, sister. It is your husband’s.” They may have figured out a way to present themselves to 21st century television audiences in an inoffensive fashion, but the Duggars views on marriage and a woman’s place in the world remain deeply problematic. The Josh sex scandals briefly brought those views to the surface, and fans were justifiably outraged. But like Jim Bob and Michelle, the Duggars’ most loyal viewers proved very eager to forget. Anna Duggar and Josh Duggar: How Did They Get Here?!?

It’s shocking to many, but it remains true: Anna Duggar is pregnant with her fifth child with husband Josh Duggar. On Friday night, the controversial couple used their family’s official blog to deliver the following announcement: “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives as a family. “Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust.” From there, Josh and Anna focused on the future… and who it will include. “As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year.” “Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!” This will be the fifth child for this pair of Duggars, who are already parents to Mackynzie, 7, Michael, 5, Marcus, 3, and Meredith, 19 months. But it’s one that very few fans saw coming. Considering that less than two years ago, Josh was admitting to the world that he molested multiple young girls when he was a teenager, it’s a bit of a shocker. At least two of these victims were his sisters, Jessa and Jill Duggar; Jinger and Joy-Anna are rumored, but not confirmed, to have been victims. A few months after that, Josh confessed that he was addicted to porn and had cheated on Anna after being exposed in the Ashley Madison hacking. Why didn’t Anna divorce him, more than a few fans wondered? Because such an action is antithetical to their religious beliefs. That said, how did the couple move past this scandal and get to a place where they’ll excited to welcome another baby to their already-packed household? It wasn’t easy, that’s for sure. A week after Josh issued a lengthy statement over his infidelity, he sought treatment at a faith-based rehabilitation center in Rockford, Illinois. Said saddened parents Jim Bob and Michelle at the time, reeling from the shocking actions of the first of their 19 children: “We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.” “In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future.” “During this time we continue to look to God. He is our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.” From there, in January of 2016, Anna released a statement of her own, speaking out about her experience with Josh in a rare moment of openness. Anna Duggar referred to his rehab stint as “an important step on a long difficult road” to repairing their relationship and added: “Please continue to pray for me, Josh and our children.” In March of last year, Josh quietly finished his six-month stay in the facility and returned to Arkansas, staying under the radar since. Once back home, he continued to receive “professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family.” It was then off to marriage counseling in May. “As we enter into a long family weekend together, we want to thank each of you for the prayers, love and encouragement you’ve sent our way,” these Duggars said last year . The couple explained that they had “working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing” since Josh had left rehab. Josh, now 29, and Anna, 28 continued at the time: “It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. “We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives. “As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children.” We heard very little from Josh and Anna after that. In September, Josh was seen at a family gathering for a close friend’s birthday, at which he posed for a group picture alongside his wife. The reality stars then celebrated their eight-year wedding anniversary a few weeks later, receiving some well wishes from their relatives. “Happy Anniversary, Josh and Anna,” the Duggar family wrote alongside a photo of the couple, whose appearances online have been sparse. “We are so thankful for God’s redemptive love in your lives.” In November, Anna and Josh enjoyed an evening out with the former’s sister, Priscilla, and her husband, David Waller, after Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s wedding. “Thank you, Josh & Anna, for a wonderful weekend together topped off with a fun #doubledate this evening!” the Wallers captioned a social media photo soon after the double date, adding: “You’ll are doing great! #sistertime #familytime.” Of course, Josh is still so radioactive to Duggar fans that he was scrubbed out of all TLC footage of the wedding, as seen in the gallery below. You can forget all about those Josh Duggar and Anna Duggar divorce rumors . For good, most likely. The controversial couple shocked fans on Friday when they took to their official family blog in order to make an unexpected announcement:  Anna is pregnant with her fifth child! The couple announced in a statement: “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives as a family.” “Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust.” “We’ve learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time,” they continued, adding: “As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year.” “Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!” They signed their announcement with a simple “Josh & Anna.” Wow. The rebuilding to which Josh and Anna reference, of course, goes back to the spring of 2015. At that time, it was revealed that Josh had molested five girls when he was a teenager – including his sisters, Jessa and Jill Duggar. Adding to the stunning nature of this bombshell was the fact that Josh’s parents (Jim Bob and Michelle) admitted that they were aware of their son’s inappropriate behavior around the time it occurred. But they did not go to the police. Instead, they decided to handle the matter “in-house” which many fans felt was irresponsible at best, or shady and cowardly at worst. TLC eventually canceled the family’s reality show in the wake of the scandal, although Jessa and Jill have returned to the spotlight via their network spinoff, Counting On. Josh later sought treatment after confessing he had cheated on his wife , a revelation that came out once his name was included among those who had an account on adultery website Ashley Madison. “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” Duggar said in August of 2015 upon confirming his infidelity. He continued at the time: “While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet. “This became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife. “I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family. “And, most of all, Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.” Given the situation, it was a pretty impressive statement. And it continued even further as follows, with a mention of his molestation history no less: “I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old.” “Now I have re-broken their trust.” “The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings. “I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.” Ever since the molestation and cheating incidents were made public, Anna’s future has been the subject of rampant speculation. Those who follow Josh’s extremely large family have wondered when the long-suffering wife finally up and divorce her dishonest, unethical husband. But this action is strictly prohibited in their religious world. Instead, Anna and Josh have simply kept a very low profile over the last two years. The latter left rehab last March of last year and, aside from attending Jinger Duggar’s wedding to Jeremy Vuolo on November 5, the couple has scarcely been seen in public. Jessa, for example, gave birth to a son named Henry Wilberforce in February. Jill is currently expecting her second as well. And there’s already talk about when Jinger will get pregnant with her first child, and Joy-Anna and Joseph are courting. But this is about Josh and Anna and the new addition who will soon join their brood, a photo of which we’ve shared below: The stars celebrated their eight-year wedding anniversary in September, refraining from making a big deal of it themselves. But the Duggar family’s official site (headed by Jim Bob and Michelle) mentioned it shared a picture of them on Facebook. “Happy Anniversary, Josh and Anna,” they captioned the pic. “We are so thankful for God’s redemptive love in your lives.” Earlier this month, meanwhile, Jim Bob and Michelle paid tribute to their oldest son on his 29th birthday by posting a picture of him, Anna and the kids. Jessa Duggar to Joy-Anna Duggar: CONGRATULATIONS!

The Duggars are officially set to welcome yet another family member. Which of these reality stars is pregnant now , you may be wondering? No one, at least not as of this writing. But Joy-Anna Duggar is engaged to Austin Forsyth , with the 19-year old daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle confirming the exciting news herself just a few days ago. “We just got engaged!” Joy-Anna told Us Weekly in early March. “I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend.” The two have known each other for 15 years, but only just started courting in mid-November. “I'm so excited to be engaged because that means the next step is marriage,” Joy-Anna added, explaining the engagement concept for those unaware of how it works and adding: “I’m excited to see what the future holds for us!” And Joy-Anna isn't the only Duggar who feels this way. Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald recorded a sweet video last night to congratulate Jim Bob and Michelle's fifth-oldest daughter on her new relationship status. “Hey, Joy and Austin, congratulations,” Ben says in the clip, which features him holding 16-month old son Spurgeon and Jessa cradling one-month hold son Henry. Jessa then directs her attention to Joy-Anna and Austin, who are even holding hands now , and chimes in as follows: “We’re super excited for y’all getting engaged, and we are looking forward to the big day – your wedding day. The little boys say congratulations too.” Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard had previously sent well wishes to the engaged couple via their own TLC-produced video. “Hey Joy and Austin, congratulations. We just heard the good news on the engagement,” Derick says in that piece of footage. “Yeah, we’re so excited for you all!” Jill adds. With iconic roles in Scrubs and Clueless, we’re used to Donald Faison bringing us so much laughter. But today, Donald is bringing the tears. Seriously, this will very likely break your heart. Because while Donald is happily married to CaCee Cobb these days, she wasn’t his first wife. In 2001, he married a woman named Lisa Askey, who was a nursing student when they met. They were married for four years, and in that time, they had three children — twins Dade and Kaya, and a son named Kobe. Unfortunately, Lisa passed away this week. We don’t yet know what happened, but we do know that Donald and his children are mourning her death … and that they’re moving us to tears. Donald posted this photo, originally posted by his son Dade (we’re assuming these are the hands of Dade and his mother), and his caption was absolutely heartbreaking. “My son Dade is very brave,” he wrote. “Today he and his brother Kobe and sister Kaya lost their mother. Lisa Askey Faison.” “She and I never really saw eye to eye,” he admitted, “but one thing we did share was our love for our children. RIP Lisa. You raised three beautiful children into fine adults and I am forever grateful for that.” “May god bless your soul with light and love.” Donald also shared his son’s original tribute, which read “I just wanted to say thank you so much mom! You have been there for me when I needed you most.” “I can’t believe it has come to this but I know you are in a better place right now. I love you with all my heart and one day we shall meet again.” “You worked so hard and never gave up no matter how hard times got. R.I.P. mom and until next time!” he finished. Donald and Lisa’s twins, Dade and Kaya, just turned 18, but their younger son, Kobe, is only 16 years old. Donald is a very active father, and obviously a very caring father , so we’re sure he’ll be helping his children through what has to be a rough time. Duggar Family Photos: Then & Now!

It's been a long road for the Duggar clan from Tontitown, Arkansas. Over the past decade, we've watched Jim Bob, Michelle and kids go from the stars of a limited-run TLC documentary series to one of the most famous families in the history of reality TV. During that time, the family expanded (There was a time when they were a scant 16 kids and counting!) and endured some incredibly dark times. (The Josh Duggar sex scandals will rightfully never be forgotten.) Not surprisingly, the Duggars have changed as individuals as much as they've changed as a family since gaining fame. Derick Dillard & Jill Duggar Return to Central America, Hit Up Fans For More Money

A few days ago, the pregnant Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard announced they would be returning to Central America for mission work. They also hit up fans for money. Again. Along with their toddler son Israel, Jill and Derick are off to Central America , where they’ve spent the better part of their son’s life as is. Many worried Duggar fans are not happy that Jill has chosen to return to a Zika virus hot zone while pregnant with her second child. We don’t imagine those same fans will be happy to be hit up for money pronto, as Jill and Derick have asked for help with their expenses. “We hope you’ll consider partnering with us in this mission,” the Dillards wrote in their plea for fans to cover their costs in El Salvador. “In addition to the ministry outreach expenses, there are always monthly expenses for groceries, utilities, fuel, healthcare, etc.” They insist that all money is just for basic needs. “We have always purposed to live a frugal lifestyle and continue to do so in the mission field,” the married couple of three years continued. “When you give a donation to our ministry, you are helping our family cover living expenses [and] helping reach so many precious lives.” To reach those precious lives, the Dillards explained that they need about $24,000 to cover the expenses of this portion of their mission. All of the donations are funneled through Dillard Family Ministries, the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization Jill and Derick set up in 2015. Jill and Derick have taken a lot of criticism for their request for, and use of, funds provided by fans through their tax-emept group before. Transparency has not been their strong suit. Even the Duggar family’s typically supportive fans did not react well to the blog post, calling into question whether Jill needs the money. They are, after all, famous reality TV stars. Does anyone think that Jill and Derick Dillard are rolling in dough and trying to cheat people? No, but they’re likely better off than most. So why asking their fans for donations? “I am in no way trying to start something, be critical, and am not a ‘hater,’ but why do the Dillards need donations,” asked one follower. Another questioned why they need cash “for the next couple of months when they have been living free for the last 6 months?” It’s a fair point, as are these others: “They also receive very nice paychecks from their TLC appearances and magazine articles,” another member of Duggar Nation said.  “Sorry Dillards, but I don’t want to hear your moaning about having to take donations, when TLC is sending your wife checks for being on camera.” Others have pointed out the Arkansas family’s famous frugality. It’s one of the tenets upon which Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar created their brood, their compound, and their (once) wholesome reputation. If they’re quasi-rich and such good savers, this doesn’t add up. “Her parents are those famous debt-free millionaires,” another wrote. “Plus you have the physical ability to work! Not everyone does.” This is not the first time Derek and Jill have been called out for this, and not just because of Internet haters questioning the principle of it. In 2015-16, some fans who donated to Dillard’s charity accused the couple of misusing donations to travel back and forth to the U.S. So that they could fly in and attend various family functions, in other words, rather than using the money to help fund their actual mission. The duo responded by offering to give donations back to anyone who felt they were treated unfairly, though it’s not clear if that materialized. The fact that Jill is pregnant again , coupled with Derick’s health problems and the obvious risks of living in the area, on top of this controversy?
