Lil Wayne’s ‘Unplugged’ Is A Hit With Fans

Viewers make special a Twitter trend and demand its release on iTunes. By Rob Markman Lil Wayne performs on “Unplugged” Photo: Frank Micelotta/MTV/PictureGroup Lil Wayne may have been out at Miami’s Liv nightclub on Sunday (June 12) celebrating the Dallas Mavericks’ NBA championship , but his fans took to Twitter to celebrate Weezy. With all of their collective online efforts before, during and after the premiere of “MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged,” fans made “Lil Wayne Unplugged” a trending topic. ” ‘Lil Wayne Unplugged’ was the best thing I’ve ever watched on TV!! Hopefully there’s a DVD for it,” tweeted iReadWeezy. “I wish i was there (Lil Wayne Unplugged),” added @_BriRozay. The “Unplugged” special was broadcast simultaneously on MTV2, MTV and MTV.com Sunday night. And though that happened to be the same time the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat in the championship-clinching game of the NBA Finals, fans managed to watch as Weezy tore through hits like “A Milli,” “Fireman,” a cover of Tupac’s “Hail Mary,” “6 Foot 7 Foot” and his latest, “Nightmares of the Bottom.” “Watching this Lil Wayne unplugged during halftime … pretty dope,” tweeted Question210. Others tuned in to the hour-long special in its entirety as they commented on Wayne’s set-list . For @dizturbdwun , he was particularly impressed when Birdman Jr. performed a mash-up of his Tha Carter IV single “How to Love” and his #1 hit “Lollipop”: “That’s tight how they blended ‘How to Love’ & ‘Lollipop’ on ‘Lil Wayne Unplugged.’ They need to release that to iTunes.” B32LLS is ready to purchase a retail version of Tunechi’s special as well. “I gotta buy the lil wayne unplugged that gotta hit stores asap,” he blasted out on Twitter . Some fans had to postpone their “Unplugged” viewing, however. In the comments of MTV News’ post-show recap , Emily Pearl Davis wrote, “Unfortunately, I missed the show, but after reading this, I know just how intense it was (of course)! Wayne’s a god.” She shouldn’t worry too much, though. “MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged” is available on-demand on MTV.com right now, and it re-airs on MTV2 on Monday (June 13) at 9 p.m. ET. That ’70s Show, Mr. Skin Style: 1978 [PICS]

1978 was a nude year for the ages, with nude career peaks for the perfect peaks of skinema legends Susan Sarandon and Nastassja Kinski . And, legend has it, every time Mary Louise Weller takes her top off on a DVD (or VHS, if you’re kickin’ it old school) of Animal House , a Skin fan gets his wings. Something’s sprouting down there, that’s for sure. This is the moment that launched a thousand skin fixations- Mary Louise Weller ‘s touchy-feely topless scene in Animal House .The number of boners caused by Mary Louise’s mams must be in the millions. Speaking of touchy-feely, we get a little grabby ourselves whenever we see Susan Sarandon powdering her perfect pair in Pretty Baby. Need a hand, Susan? We’ve got one to spare. The voyeuristic delights of 1978 continue with a young Tommy Lee Jones spying on a young- and completely naked- Kathleen Beller going for a nude swim in The Betsy . Heavens to Betsy, she’s hot! The scene where Ursula Andress gets tied to a pole and painted orange in Mountain of the Cannibal God – baring fantastic full frontal in the process- always leaves us tongue-tied. Finally, we’ve got more full frontal furburgerage from Nastassja Kinski , who may or may not be sleeping with her father in Stay as You Are . After all, you can’t spell Kinski without Kinki! This is just the beginning of Mr. Skin’s Favorite Nude Scenes of 1978 playlist- do your disco stick a favor and check it out NOW!

Mr. Skin’s Nude Movie Report: Maria Bello in Beautiful Boy

We saw her snookers earlier this week in The Company Men (2010), nude on DVD and Blu-Ray, and this weekend Maria Bello ‘s full moons will light up the silver screen once again. Maria stars in Beautiful Boy , which opens in limited release this weekend. Beautiful Boy is kind of a bummer- Maria and Michael Sheen play the parents of a college student who snaps and commits a mass shooting on his campus before killing himself- but at the 58 minute mark we get sweet, sweet relief in the form of Maria’s beautiful twins. They’re not exposed for the entire scene (stupid Michael Sheen blocks our view for most of the hump scene), but afterwards, at the 1 hour mark, we get a nice, lingering look at Maria’s mams. Beautiful Boy is Maria Bello ‘s ninth career nude role- check out her other eight right here at MrSkin.com!

‘Breaking Dawn’ Last Day ‘Wasn’t Super Dramatic’

‘It was surprising, actually, how little we had to say when we finished,’ Nikki Reed tells MTV News. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli Photo: MTV News “Breaking Dawn” has wrapped, the trailer has officially debuted at the MTV Movie Awards , and the stars of “The Twilight Saga” are nearing the end of their years-long franchise. MTV News caught up with Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli outside the Gibson Amphitheatre after “Eclipse” won the Golden Popcorn for Best Movie. The Cullen trio chatted about the last day of shooting, saying it wasn’t as emotional as fans might have expected. “It was surprising, actually, how little we had to say when we finished, to be honest,” Reed said. “We know we’re going to see each other, so it wasn’t super dramatic.” Facinelli agreed, adding, “We have two more movies coming out, so it wasn’t so much of a goodbye as it was a ‘see ya later.’ ” According to the three “Twilight” stars, there was no big commotion made on their last day of filming “Breaking Dawn.” In fact, none of the stars even made a speech. “We should have a speech right now!” Facinelli suggested. “Kellan?” Lutz turned to his co-stars and deadpanned, “I worked the very last day, and I hate you mother—-ers. That’s my speech.” Though the stars of “The Twilight Saga” still have another year and a half until the second part of “Breaking Dawn” hits theaters, and then will have to make press rounds to promote the DVD and Blu-ray release, they still are willing to look into the future to what they will be doing for other projects. Or they’re willing to joke about it, at least. “Broadway musical, let’s do it,” Facinelli said with a laugh. ” ‘Carlisle on Ice.’ I can’t wait.” “I’ll buy a ticket,” Lutz offered. Is The Black Television Series Dead?

Continued here:

Ahh, the 90′s, one of the best decades in the history of the Black television series’. “Martin,” “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air,” “Living Single,” “The Jamie Foxx Show,” “Moesha,” “The Wayans Bros,” “The Cosby Show” and “The Parkers”–all shows that will forever be timeless in Black TV. I can watch reruns of these shows over and over again and even know what will happen next and still laugh hysterically, cry when someone gets married, and laugh again. Fast forward to the present and you can barely get a second season out of these watered down, slapstick style comedy TV series’ like “House of Payne,” VH1′s “Single Ladies” and BET’s “Let’s Stay Together.” I would never even think of buying a DVD series of ANY season of these shows. Why not? Well, these are not necessarily shows that you can watch rerun after rerun and not get annoyed by much less remember they existed six years from now. Like your parents boasted about shows like “Good Times,” “Sandford & Son,” and “The Jeffersons” to us, we’ll skip right on over the host of black TV shows post-new millennium and go back to the hilarious black comedies of the 90′s and tell our children about it. As of late I’ve been noticing a pattern taking shape within Black television, and that is that ratings seem to always be an excuse behind a show getting pulled. Which makes me wonder, if nobody is watching black sitcoms anymore then what are they watching, because TV is definitely still being watched. The other day a very influential black woman spoke briefly on the state of black television and it really made me wonder. Then I realized it, I’ve been trained. I can’t speak for the readers out there but I realized that I’ve been trained to like what (before just a few years ago), I swore I’d never fall victim to: and that is my love for “real-life” drama or “reality tv.” The television industry has trained me to become transfixed with seeing pointless drama instead of the scripted, yet positive images and lifestyles that in my own reality would take much hard work to attain. The industry figured out what myself as well as many other reality TV lovers “desired to see” before we even realized it–which is the highly-scripted and well-rehearsed drink-throwing, hair-shifting, “Who Gon’ Check Me Boo”-style drama on TV every week. What I didn’t know was that the public (if you don’t like reality TV, you can quietly exclude yourself from this group) has become obsessed with the idea of “real-life” drama, which is exactly why you have reality shows like “Basketball Wives,” and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and shows that we think are reality are the total opposite. Not only that, but we actually watch and create celebrities out of reality TV ‘stars’ as opposed to watching well-trained actors and then we complain when these TV series’ dissipate due to low ratings. I realized that the problem is much less the commentary and content of these shows and more so the people and the TV industry giving the people what they want. Ultimately what I’m saying is that, with the many different black TV shows that has came and went over the course of the last 10 years, I can count on 1 hand the amount of shows that have made a lasting impression. Many people complain and say that we have no black TV shows yet divert their time to reality television. Evolution is definitely a great way to promote change and growth but do you think reality TV has enough longevity to permanently take over for the Black Television series? Is the Black Television Series dead? And if so can it be revived, if so what would it take to make these shows more memorable and widely accepted? 5 Most Predictable Moments From The “Single Ladies” Premiere [VIDEO] Nicki Minaj & UK Interviewer Make “Connection” On Camera [VIDEO]

Mr. Skin’s Countdown to MAM-orial Day 2011: #1 Emmy Rossum

#1 in Skin Central’s Mam orial Day countdown of the best breasts of 2011 (so far) are the unbelievable boobs of Shameless star Emmy Rossum . Tit’s a shame to think Emmy kept her cans concealed for so long- she was 18 when she appeared in both The Phantom of the Opera (2004) and The Day After Tomorrow (2004). But she rectified this tit uation by showing her perfect pair in the very first episode of Showtime series Shameless – and almost every episode after that. On Shameless , Emmy plays oldest sister Fiona Gallagher, who’s taken on the very adult role of mothering her 5 younger siblings while their alcoholic dad spends his time drinking. Speaking of mothering, sweet mother of mercy would Skin Central like to suckle those stork stalks! Emmy’s Shameless – and we like her that way! Congratulations, Emmy Rossum ! You’ve got the pair to beat, so oil ‘em up and take off those tops, ladies, since the compeTITtion’s getting fierce!

Drive Angry: DVD Roundup 5-31-11

We’ve got 500 hp of nudity to get you going from 0 to horny in 3 seconds flat this week on DVD and Blu-Ray! First, we’ve got Charlotte Ross and Amber Heard leading a high-octane cast of naked ladies in Drive Angry , and the bare boobs of Roxanne Mesquida and Juno Temple to turn your crank shaft in Kaboom! . Coming around the corner, Megan Fox and Liezel Carstens ‘ Passion Play will have you passionately playing with yourself, and Anna Paquin will get your engine running as True Blood , Season 3 hits DVD and Blu-Ray. Headed towards the finish line, we’ve got bipolar boobies in Biutiful , and a lovely bit of the ol’ in-out for your droogies as A Clockwork Orange hits Blu-Ray. Nicholas Cage stars as John Milton, a criminal who breaks out of Hell to wreak vengeance on cult leader Jonah King ( Billy Burke ) in the campy action flick Drive Angry ( 2010). Hitching a ride with sexy waitress Piper ( Amber Heard ), John races to Louisiana to save his granddaughter from the jaws of Hell. Drive Angry is an exploitation explosion of sex, nudity, guns, nudity, hellfire, nudity, muscle cars- and did we mention nudity? Christa Campbell gets her butt kicked in the buff, exposing boobs and bush as she’s dragged outside by her hair. Busty blonde Charlotte Ross is also fully nude, exposing full frontal as she rides a fully dressed, impressively multitasking Nicholas Cage. Kimberly Shannon Murphy also bares all three B’s as a trigger-happy naked Satanist (say that 3 times fast)! Drive Angry? Try Drive Horny! Haley Bennett , Roxanne Mesquida , Juno Temple , and Thomas Dekker are a group of sexually experimental college students find their lives turned upside down after a night of psychedelic drugs and murder in the sexy sci-fi comedy Kaboom ( 2010). Along the way, we get skin from Haley and Roxanne as a couple of lesbians-until-graduation, a look at Juno’s jugs, and MILFtastic Kelly Lynch in a loose-fitting sports bra. Kaboob! Megan Fox always looks like an angel, but she didn’t literally become one until Passion Play (2010). Escaping an assassination attempt in the New Mexico desert, Nate ( Mickey Rourke ) stumbles across a weird circus featuring “Lily the Bird Girl”( Megan Fox ). Skintrigued by the discovery that Lily actually has wings,Nate hatches a plan to spirit her away from the circus. Megan Fox continues to defy male fans’ sexpectations in this flick, showing her frilly white and sexy red panties but never taking them off. Liezel Carstens is way less skingy as a tattooed lady wearing nothing but a thong and a smile as she shoots Mickey full of drugs. You’ll wanna stick her with your needle! Alan Ball , screenwriter of the Thora Birch boob showcase American Beauty and the acclaimed flesh-friendly funeral-home drama Six Feet Under , returns to HBO with True Blood . This series takes place in Louisiana two years after vampires have “come out of the coffin” in public, stating that they simply want to live and work and not suck your blood like any other folk in day-to-day (or sunset-to-sunrise) society. Psychic barmaid Sookie Stackhouse ( Anna Paquin ) falls hard when a vampire named Bill ( Stephen Moyer ) lurches into her tavern—but can she trust a seductive member of the undead? True Blood is loaded with enough goth hotties and luscious victims of vampiric doings to put a wooden stake permanently in your pants. Javier Bardem is a man with a lot on his mind in Biutiful (2010). Uxbal (Bardem) is a family man who just found out he has terminal cancer. He also has a self-destructive, bipolar ex-wife. All the bizarre, complicated, chaotic elements of Uxbal’s life come back to haunt him in this poetic drama. Sounds depressing? That’s because it is. But sweet relief comes in the form of Maricel Alvarez . 20 minutes in, Maricel answers the door wearing nothing but panties, then casually jumps up on her bed and starts dancing with her chimichangas exposed. Later, Uxbal visits an odd strip club where the topless dancers wear giant breast helmets and nipples on their butts. We don’t know what that means, but we know it’s biutiful. Sex and violence have never been more intricately intertwined than in the eroticized, fetishistic mayhem of A Clockwork Orange (1971). As Alex, Malcolm McDowell ’s threeway with a pair of drugged-up teenyboppers is one of the most hyper-kinetic and humorous sex scenes ever committed to film. Later, Alex and his “droogs” interrupt a rival gang in their rape of a full-frontal-flashing blonde. The movie’s most visceral footage is of a rape during a home invasion burglary, an example of incidental brutality that has only ever been equaled by a similar outrage in the original Death Wish ( 1974). Like that Charles Bronson morality tale, the characters in A Clockwork Orange tend to receive the comeuppance they deserve. MTV Movie Awards Stage Is A ‘Nod To Fantasy’ In Film

Producer Mark Burnett reveals look of Sunday’s show inspired in part by ‘Lord of the Rings.’ By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Sway Calloway and Josh Horowitz 2011 MTV Movie Awards stage Photo: MTV News A big part of the MTV Movie Awards is the stage, and every year the creative folks responsible for coming up with the look of the show manage to think up some eye-popping way to keep viewers entertained. Although the stage design has often been sleek and modern, for the 2011 Movie Awards, the team went in a different direction, filling the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, with fantastical props like caves, butterflies, LED lights and glittery, hanging jewels. Executive Producer Mark Burnett spoke to MTV News about the inspiration for the design, and he described it as “a little bit of a ‘Lord of the Rings,’ our nod to that part of the movie industry. … And our production designer Roy, [this is] his nod to fantasy in the movies.” With “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” leading the nominee pack, Burnett said the feel of this show also reflects those fantastical worlds that are ruled by wizards, werewolves and vampires. “I think there’s been a lot of movies in the last few years that are very fantasy-driven,” he said, adding that Tim Burton had been a major inspiration for the stage design. And come Sunday, that stage will be filled with A-listers like Generation Award honoree Reese Witherspoon , Kristen Stewart, Emma Stone and, of course, host Jason Sudeikis. If fantasy isn’t your thing, Burnett offered an alternative way to interpret the swirling, eye-catching look of the show. He joked, “It could be 4 a.m., you’ve had too much to drink [and] it’s the end of the party.” Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ?
