5 Simple Improvements That Could Have Changed The Adjustment Bureau From Good To Great

It’s a pain to waste your time watching a bad movie, but how much more frustrating is it to watch an okay movie and realize how much better it might have been with just a couple tweaks here and there? The Adjustment Bureau was, as the President might say, likeable enough — an intriguing concept, congenial stars, and a cool look to the whole thing — but as Roger Ebert says , it’s “a smart and good movie that could have been a great one if it had a little more daring.” So what are the five easy ways that The Adjustment Bureau could go from DVD recommendation to a must-see-movie?

Justin Bieber Lands Two Albums In Billboard Top Five

The feat marks the first time this accomplishment has been achieved since last year, when Bieber also had two albums in the top five. By Gil Kaufman Justin Bieber Photo: Gilbert Carrasquillo/ Getty Images Justin Bieber has become such a musical sales force that now the only competition left is, well, Justin Bieber. After landing the #1 album last week with his Never Say Never – The Remixes , Bieber had to settle for #2 this week to make room for Adele’s 21 . But the rush of attention on the now- 17-year-old pop star thanks to his big-screen debut in “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” helped propel his nearly year-old My World 2.0 back into the top five at #5, a feat that Billboard Associate Director of Charts Keith Caulfield said was a “very big deal.” In fact, Bieber is the first artist to have two albums in the top five at the same time since he achieved the same feat nearly a year ago. The last time it happened was in March of 2010 when 2.0 debuted at #1 while the singer’s debut, My World, was at #5. Caulfield said that before that, it hadn’t happened since October 2004 when rapper Nelly’s simultaneous album release of Sweat and Suit both crashed the top five at #1 and #2. If you go back to the last artist to do it without releasing two new albums at the same time, you have to look to May 2003, when 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’ was at #5 and his The New Breed CD/DVD debuted at #2. “Any way you look at it, it’s unusual,” said Caulfield, noting that even with all their success on the charts lately, not even Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift have notched that achievement. “It helps that you have four Bieber albums to choose from on the charts right now.” Related Photos Justin Bieber Turns 17! DVD: It Takes the Genius of Fellini to Make an Awesome Movie About Clowns

Yesterday, I dredged up the terrifying childhood memory of the creepy ventriloquist’s dummy (if that’s not redundant) in the ads for Magic , so let’s keep the young-nightmare fuel going with a discussion of clowns. But even if those painted circus harlequins make you uneasy — studies show you’re in the majority — you should still check out the DVD debut of Federico Fellini’s fascinating The Clowns (RaroVideo).

Love & Other Jugs: DVD Roundup 3-1-11

Girls are going wild this week on DVD & Blu-Ray as Oscar hostess Anne Hathaway gets high on nudity in Love and Other Drugs , Cher & XXXtina Aguilera bump n’ grind in Burlesque , and J-Lo cracks the cleavage case in Out of Sight . Love and Other Drugs Jake Gyllenhaal is a pharmaceutical rep who gets the job of pushing Viagra in the romantic comedy-drama Love and Other Drugs . At the same time, he meets and falls for a woman with Parkinson’s disease ( Anne Hathaway ) and starts a roller coaster romance. Along the way, we get some great look at Anne’s bare boobage and butt in four glorious scenes. Who needs Viagra with those around? Burlesque In the campy musical extravaganza Burlesque , pop tart Christina Aguilera is a small town girl who dreams of being a stripper that doesn’t take her clothes off and sings a lot, aka a burlesque artiste. She finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer named Tess ( Cher ) and staffed by babes like Kristen Bell and Chelsea Traille . There are plenty of “sexy” costumes in this picture, most of which takes place in a burlesque club, but exactly as much nudity as anyone who’s been to a burlesque club would expect—none. Out of Sight Is it a good movie? No, it’s only about the coolest, hippest motherfucker ever committed to celluloid, and it’s now nude on Blu-Ray. Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney are lovers on opposite sides of the law in this super-sexy style juggernaut. Jennifer’s famous caboose stays in her jeans, but she shows a great deal of cleavage in the expanded full-length version of the trunk ride with Clooney. Some people think her nipples may have been visible, and thanks to the magic of Blu-Ray J-lo’s jugs are clearer than ever. From booby bandits to cleavage capers, if you need a private dick, Mr. Skin’s your man!

‘The King’s Speech’ Conquers The Oscars

Academy picks royal film for its Best Picture, Director and Actor honors. By Brian Warmoth Colin Firth poses with his award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in “The King’s Speech” Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images Director Tom Hooper gave moms watching the 83rd Academy Awards a reason to love his film, and the Oscars gave “The King’s Speech” four statues by the end of the night, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay. “The moral of this story is: Listen to your mother,” Hooper told the audience at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre when he accepted his directing prize. The first-time winner and nominee credited his mother for discovering the script, which also won in its category for writer David Seidler. Seidler’s tale, based on King George VI’s struggle to overcome a stuttering problem and lead Britain through World War II, entered the night with a royal recipe of previously nominated talent, historical drama and personal strife. When the ballots were finally counted, the classic formula won out, and Hooper, Seidler and star Colin Firth earned a few coveted words to put in front of their names for the rest of their careers: Oscar winner. Check out backstage photos of the big Oscar winners . “I have a feeling my career’s just peaked,” Firth quipped during his acceptance speech. The excitement, however, wasn’t enough for him to get funky in front of the crowd. “I’m afraid I have to warn you that I’m experiencing stirrings somewhere in the upper abdominals,” he revealed before excusing himself to go backstage and indulge his desire to dance. “The King’s Speech” may not have swept its nomination categories, with Geoffrey Rush losing out to Christian Bale for Best Supporting Actor and Helena Bonham Carter coming up short against Melissa Leo in “The Fighter” for Best Supporting Actress. Likewise, it failed to take home awards in six other categories where it was nominated. But failing to earn Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography won’t be the movie’s legacy. “The Social Network” edged out the Oscar night’s biggest winner for Best Film Editing and Best Music, and “The Fighter” earning the first statue of the night ensured that the Oscars would be shared this year. Nevertheless, of the three films, “The King’s Speech” will have the most enviable assortment of laurels on its DVD cover when it lands on store shelves. Brooklyn Decker Looks A Little Chilly

Here’s Brooklyn Decker out promoting her crappy Adam Sandler movie somewhere in Europe, I would have thought that crap was already on DVD by now. I don’t know exactly where she is, but judging from her erect nipples it looks like it might be somewhat chilly. I’ve had just about enough of this winter garbage this year, thanks Al Gore, but I do like seeing hotties breasts struggling with the cold weather. Nice.

‘Justin Bieber: Never Say Never’ Director’s Cut Could Hit Theaters Soon

Jon M. Chu said to be working on version with new footage that may be released in theaters this month. By Eric Ditzian Justin Bieber in “Never Say Never” Photo: Paramount With a running time of one hour and 45 minutes, Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” packs in 3-D concert footage, home videos, behind-the-scenes looks, interviews with everyone from Snoop Dogg to the pop star’s vocal coach and extended, slow-motion shots of the 16-year-old shaking out his famous locks. Perhaps, however, you didn’t get your fill of the kid — perhaps your Bieber Fever rages on. In which case, you might be in luck. New York magazine’s Vulture blog reports that Paramount Pictures is making plans for a director’s cut of the film, following its $29.5 million opening this past weekend. Director Jon M. Chu is said to be working on an updated version of the movie, including new live performances, footage of Bieber at the “Never Say Never” premiere and various advance screenings, and potentially scenes shot at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. The studio is reportedly waiting for delivery of the re-cut film before deciding if it will be released in theaters late in February or as part of a special DVD. MTV News’ request for comment to Paramount (which, like MTV News, is owned by Viacom) was not returned as of press time. Box-office grosses for the concert film are likely to decline in the coming weeks, following Bieber fans’ initial pilgrimage to multiplexes during opening weekend, and the re-cut film could dramatically boost its B.O. bottom line. If the new version does hit theaters, it will likely be as a 3-D-only release, as the cost of releasing digital prints is significantly less than printing and shipping film prints. A final decision on a release will be made once Chu finishes the cut after returning from international premieres in London and Paris. Anne Vyalitsyna Naked for Tush of the Day

Anne Vyalitsyna is some Russian, 24 years old pussy that didn’t need to use the sex trade to escape the iron curtain, but instead used her fashion modeling, not that she really had to escape any communist rule, I’m pretty sure she was born after the fall of communism, so bitch never had to wait in line for rationed tampons, making her a lot less fun that the bitches you can show pictures of war torn communities to, in order to make them respect your shitty apartment, when their high maintenance ass tries to escape you, cuz they don’t respect that you bought them, because they expected the Hollywood American dream and not the real American Dream… That said, she’s naked in some magazine called Tush. You can see nipple or pussy lip, but it’s good enough for a Friday when no one is reading…not that they ever do.

Traci Dinwiddie and Necar Zagedan Tits in Elena Undone of the Day

I’ve never heard of Elena Undone…but after reading the Synposis…I can’t believe I let this one pass me by without having seen it so many times I know it by heart…. Fate brings two diversely different women together, and sets them on a collision course that will shatter their preconceived notions about love, life and the power of one’s soul. This is some straight to DVD smut that I can’t believe actually happened, before remembering how shit Hollywood quality control is, but at least they had naked bitches in love…I mean, how could a movie suck when it has as much depth as a college party with girls looking for male attention… This movie stars the Traci Dinwiddie better known as Bo Ho Chic / Sam the Waitress in an episode of Dawson’s Creek and Necar Zagedan better known as Salumeh Farooq in an episode of CSI Miami….naked and kissing… All this to say, lesbianism is dull on all levels…except maybe when it takes place on my dick….but this clip is okay cuz there’s tits and that’s all it takes for me. Too bad I ruined this movie you’d never see by showing the best parts….
