Exclusive: “Watch Out Ni***r!” Racist Threatens NFLer Brandon Marshall’s Life In Ominous Letter

Brandon Marshall Has Knelt In Protest Of Police Misconduct At Football Games NFLer Brandon Marshall is speaking out after a racist troll sent him a letter that threatened his life and warned him to “go back to the jungle.” An unknown racist sent a letter Friday to the New York Jets wide receiver, calling him the n-word several times and criticizing him over his decision to join fellow player Colin Kaepernick in a protest against police brutality by kneeling during the National Anthem at games. “If you are sooo (sic) unhappy with America, turn in your “millions” and move back to the jungle,” the letter, which was exclusively obtained by BOSSIP, read. “We hate you and your “kind” of n****rs!” But the player refused to be cowed by the shocking show of racism but said it illustrated why he and others are demonstrating against it. “The hatred by some against people of color is one of the reasons why where we’re at in the world today, and they wonder why we feel the way we do and take the stances we take,” Marshall wrote on Instagram Friday. “I received this letter at work.” Marshall has been on the receiving end of a volley of trash talk ever since he sided with Kaepernick in his campaign against police violence, but none of the take downs have been as vitriolic as this letter. The ominous letter ends with “Your time is coming, watch out n****r!”

Hol’ Up: President Obama Orders Review That May Prove Russia Rigged The Election

Obama Wants To Know If Russia Rigged The Election President Obama  has ordered American intelligence agencies to produce a full detailed report on what may be proof that Russian hacks may have influenced the 2016 presidential election. There have been rumors about proof that Russia has been trying to steal government emails and leak its contents as well as probe and tamper with the American vote-counting system, but the U.S. has been reluctant to make public any of their findings; they fear it will reveal sources and methods of how the incursions were traced back to Russia Trump has consistently questioned and denied whether hacking happened. He has suggested that the effort to blame Russia was, in fact, an effort to discredit him and his campaign victory.

Jimmy Fallon vs. James Corden: Unexpected Feud Alert!

The late night network landscape is positively overrun by Jameses these days. Sure, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers enjoyed bumps due to their election coverage, but they may have to photoshop their birth certificates if they want to continue to compete. (Come to think of it, America seems primed for a late night birther controversy, at the moment!) Kimmel, of course, is the O.G. Jimmy (We suppose that should be the O. J ., but we can’t do that to the man.), having held down his time slot on ABC since back in 2003. Next came Fallon, beginning with a 12:30 spot on NBC in 2009, and taking over the revered Tonight Show at 11:30 in 2014. Late to the party (Or should we say late, late to the party?) was James Corden, who took over The Late, Late Show last year. Corden seemed an odd choice at first, as he was a virtual unknown to American audiences and he doesn’t tell jokes, so much as he … drives around and sings songs with celebrities? We don’t really get his appeal, but against all odds, the self-deprecating Brit has found himself an audience. But like the Beatles before him, Corden isn’t content to just croon a few bars for a notoriously fickle demo. No, sources say he wants to launch a full-scale invasion, and he’s got his sights set on everyone’s favorite king of party games and hair-tousling : Yes, according to Radar Online, Corden thinks Fallon is vulnerable, not because of his controversial softball interview with Donald Trump , but because of the other well-publicized issue that’s given Jimmy more than his share of press headaches. Rumors about Fallon’s drinking problem have plagued the beloved comic for years. Sources say his boozing has resulted in injuries (including two falls that resulted in hospitalizations), problems at home, and frequent friction with his bosses. NBC execs issued a statement on Fallon’s drinking  back in January and claimed they had no real concerns, but many remain unconvinced. And where NBC might see a potential crisis, Corden reportedly sees an opportunity. “He sees Jimmy as a loose cannon and it’s just a matter of time before he screws up,” a source close to the situation tells Radar. “They couldn’t be more polar opposites — James lives a sober life off-camera and is careful about not partying with his staff.” The insider adds that Corden is hungry for an 11:30 time slot, and he sees Fallon as being far less reliable than his own network’s Colbert –  a trait he believes will eventually lead NBC to seek new talent elsewhere. “James has every intention of knocking Fallon off his pedestal when the time is right and he’s playing a slow and studied game to make it happen,” says the source. “James studies Jimmy’s program to make sure they haven’t copied his funniest bits, while Jimmy tends to crash James’ interviews at events.” Frankly, if this is really Mr. Corden’s plan, we think he’s out of luck. Not only will NBC put up with all manner of Fallon shenanigans so long as his ratings remain steady, Corden isn’t the only backup looking for a chance to start. Looks like for now, James should probably just stay in his lane – the carpool lane.

Donald Trump: Electoral College Voters to Block President-Elect From White House?

In the two weeks since Donald Trump was elected president , the reality television star-turned political neophyte has done little to assure the millions who are concerned about his temperamental instability or his impractical and incendiary campaign promises that he is in fact prepared to assume the highest office in American politics. In fact, the only time Trump made the slightest effort to convince those who didn’t vote for him that he still has their best interests at heart was during an interview with 60 Minutes , in which he half-heartedly called for his more extremist followers to stop engaging in race-based intimidation. Other than that, Trump has shown little to know concern with regard to hate crimes committed in his name; he appointed a man with ties to the White Nationalist movement as his chief strategist; and he’s engaged in petty online feuds with the casts of SNL and Hamilton , despite the fact that his thin-skinned inability to withstand criticism has frequently led to doubts about his ability to lead. On top of all that, his administration is still grappling with several disconcerting legal matters, such as Trump’s recent settlement of a $25 million fraud suit (despite promises to fight the charges in court); his charitable foundation’s admission of unethical and possibly illegal self-dealing in a 2015 tax filing; and concerns that Trump is already in violation of the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause . Candidate Trump promised Americans a more “presidential” Trump in the event that he should win the election. With less than two months remaining until Inauguration Day, he has yet to deliver. Now, an unexpected group of powerful protesters is making a last-ditch attempt to block Trump from assuming office. While their efforts may prove too little, too late, they may also save future generations from demagogues seeking to con their way into public office. According to the New York Post , at least six Democrats on the Electoral College are prepared to serve as “faithless electors” and abandon Hillary Clinton in order to vote for Republican candidates other than Trump. There hope is that GOP electors will follow suit, thus costing Trump the 270 votes he needs to secure the White House, and sending the decision of who will be our next president to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. As you’re probably, aware Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 1.7 million votes, with several million more yet to be counted, most of them in Democratic strongholds, such as California. The Democratic electors looking to block Trump have embarked on a quixotic mission, as it seems highly unlikely that they’ll be able to convince 37 of their GOP counterparts to jump ship and send the nation into an even worse state of political upheaval. However, their efforts may bring attention to the problematic nature of the Electoral College, eventually leading to crucial reforms or even its abolishment. “Reform going forward has a better chance of succeeding than this effort,” Kermit Roosevelt, a professor at University of Pennsylvania Law School, told The Post. “Most people do think if you get more votes you should win the election.” View Slideshow: Donald Trump Wins Presidency, Twitter Reacts President-elect Trump has yet to respond to news of this latest effort to block him from office. We imagine he’ll eventually share his views in a terse, 140-character statement to the American people.

Hillary Clinton: Activists Urge Candidate to Challenge Election Results in Three Swing States

On Wednesday, November 9, shortly after 11:50 am, Hillary Clinton uttered the words that tens of millions of Americans never thought they would hear: “Donald Trump is going to be our president,” Clinton told a crowd of supporters who had gathered in New York, many certain they would be celebrating an historic victory. “We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead.” It was a gracious acceptance of a crushing defeat, and it seemed the speech was likely to serve as the conclusion of Clinton’s decades-long, glass-ceiling-shattering political career. Now, however, a group of election lawyers and prominent computer scientists are insisting that in light of new findings about the integrity of the 2016 election, Clinton owes it to the American people to contest Trump’s victory. According to New York magazine, the group – led by voting-rights attorney John Bonifaz and J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society – revealed this week that they’ve uncovered persuasive evidence that the election results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may have been hacked . All three states went for Trump in 2016 after being won by President Obama in 2012. If they had gone blue again this year, it’s Clinton, not Trump, who would have secured the necessary 270 electoral votes to win the election. At this point, the group is not publicly speaking on its findings, and is instead focusing on privately lobbying the Clinton campaign to take action. Sources say on Thursday of last week, activists held a conference call with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign general counsel Marc Elias. The group reportedly presented findings indicating that in Wisconsin, Clinton received 7 percent fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic voting than in counties with paper ballots. Based on those numbers, analysts believe she may have been denied upwards of 30,000 votes in that state. She lost Wisconsin by just 27,000 votes. Despite Clinton’s concession, there’s still ample reason to call Trump’s victory into question. In addition to the fact that he lost the popular vote by more 1.7 million ballots (with several million more votes left to be counted, most in Democratic strongholds like California and New York), Trump may find himself coping with an Electoral College revolt led by “faithless electors” hoping to leave the decision of who will be our next president in the hands of the GOP-led House of Representatives. View Slideshow: Donald Trump Wins Presidency, Twitter Reacts The new information possibly indicating widespread election fraud may represent Clinton’s last, best chance at delegitimizing Trump’s victory. Unfortunately, her campaign is running out of time in which to contest the results. The deadline in Wisconsin to file for a recount is Friday; in Pennsylvania, it’s Monday; and Michigan is next Wednesday.

Mother Jones Normalizes White Supremacy Remember how the media said it would try its hardest to be more critical of Trump and his movement since Election night? Susan Sarandon vs. Debra Messing: The Feud That Just Won’t Quit

It’s been ten long, scary, disheartening days since Election Day, and we’d like to say that the news that Donald Trump would be our next president has gotten easier … Nope. Still sucks. One of the worst things about the Trump presidency — and to be clear, all the things about it are the worst things — is how hard it’s divided the country. And we’re not just talking about how it’s separated racist, misogynistic bigots from people with actual sense. As sad as it is, even people who stood against Trump are now turning against each other in these troubling times. In this case, we’re talking about people like Susan Sarandon and Debra Messing. To give a little background. Debra has always been a loud and proud supporter of Hillary Clinton, while Susan was all about Bernie Sanders. When Hillary won the primary , well, that did just not sit well with Susan, and though Bernie urged his followers to stand with Hillary, Susan was just like “nah.” In an interview in March, Susan even suggested that Trump would be a better president than Hillary. “Well, you know, some people feel Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately,” she said in real life. “If he gets in, then things will really explode.” Susan was right on that one: things sure are exploding . It doesn’t seem to be the charming revolution she had in mind though. After Susan gave that quote, Debra tweeted that “the idea that Susan Sarandon wud say that NOT supporting HRC in a HRC/Trump race is a legitimate choice for Democrats, is insane.” Susan maintained that, for Bernie supporters, a Clinton vs. Trump election would be “a dilemma,” and then on November 1st, she publicly endorsed Jill Stein. This woman actually said “Now that Trump is self-destructing, I feel even those in swing states have the opportunity to vote their conscience.” Where’s a good “bitch, please” gif when you need one? So obviously things didn’t work out at all like Susan expected, and now she’s trying to hold on to the last little bit of hope that everything won’t go to hell in the next four years. She responded to a tweet urging people to never forget how awful Trump is with “True but reach out in dialogue to those who voted for him.” “We can’t afford a blanket judgement of them. We need allies in that camp. Possible.” And that was a statement Debra did not feel good about. “JESUS CHRIST,” she wrote in response. “NOW she wants to give racist, islamophobic, homophobic, sexist, mysogynists a chance! ‘Pure’ 4 Bernie. F-CK everyone else.” Susan hit back with “No, never excuse hatred, but how do you move forward in a climate of hate when you only expect the worst of an entire group of people?” Then Debra wrote of Susan “She encouraged ppl to vote for Trump over HRC on a news interview. Said she was more ‘dangerous.’ She needs to be held accountable.” When someone suggested Debra was threatening Susan (LOL can you imagine?), Debra clarified “Dangerous!? Hell no!” “I wud like her to say that she regrets not simply saying that she’s voting 3rd party vs. saying a revol with DJT cud be *thumbs up emoji*.” Instead of admitting that though, Susan chose to ask Debra to tweet something about the Dakota Access pipeline protests, and Debra agreed, so all’s well that ends well? We guess we’ll just have to see. View Slideshow: 21 Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming
