Maximize Your Chill: Netflix Has Secret Codes That Reveal Hidden Movies And TV Shows For Your Viewing Pleasure

Here is the original post:

Photo by: Pascal Le Segretain / Getty Netflix has so many options for watching TV and movies…..so many, that it’s most definitely too many. Unless you go onto Netflix with a strategy for what you already know you want to watch, things can get messy real quick. Scrolling through the endless queue of ready-to-stream films and television shows, it’s nearly impossible to come across something you wanna watch–especially since all of the shows Netflix seems to recommend to you have no rhyme or reason based on what you actually watch on your account. Whether you have 45 minutes to spare and spend scrolling through shows or you have some pressing matters to get to that make the search unbearable–there’s gotta be a better way. And as a matter of fact: there is! Now, users of everyone’s favorite streaming service can watch Netflix in a whole new way thanks to hack codes, which cater your searches for more customized and relevant films and TV shows. The full list of 76,000 sub-genres organizes Netflix’s catalog by decade, language, topic, actor or actress, directors, and even relevant adjective.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The new hack cuts a ton of time out of narrowing down what kind of movie or show you’re in the mood for. In addition, depending on where you live, some codes even offer hidden titles you may not have had access to before. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Netflix spokesperson Marlee Tart told Mashable in August, “We categorize our content into thousands of sub-genres to help match the right content to the right member based on their viewing history.” These codes can get you to some more broad areas of Netflix, like the normal mass appeal categories: from romantic comedies (5475) and political dramas (6616) to baseball movies (12339) and crime documentaries (9875). But if users have more definitive tastes, they can search for 20th century period pieces with Meryl Streep (74188) or zombie horror movies (75405). The weirdly specific categories are available in Netflix’s vast catalogue and luckily for us, accessible from any country where Netflix is available. Even more options range from feel-good movies with Elvis Presley (58) and witty detective movies (2346) to Korean crime thrillers (434) and understated independent political dramas (3118). To access all of these incredible possibilities, log in to your Netflix account http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/ and add your specific code after the last backslash. The master list of available codes is available at this link http://www.ogres-crypt.com Flip to the next page for an extended list of codes for your viewing pleasure.

Selena Gomez Leaves Rehab After 5 Weeks of Treatment

Last month, we reported that Selena Gomez had checked into rehab , reportedly to seek help for the emotional issues that she’s opened up about in the past. But while her team insisted that Selena was being treated for “anxiety, panic attacks and depression,” rumors that Selena had been struggling with substance abuse issues began to circulate online. Whatever the case, the singer has apparently completed her course of treatment, as she was spotted by several fans during an afternoon on the town in Tennessee yesterday. Selena and friends reportedly hit up an arcade and had dinner at a Texas Roadhouse not far from her treatment site. The dressed-down singer happily posed for photos with fans and appeared to be in good spirits, onlookers say. While it’s possible that Selena returned for further treatment after her evening out, sources who are familiar with the facility where she stayed say it’s unusual for patients to leave and return. Which means that even though she stayed around the area after her release, she most likely headed home the following day. One witness tells Radar Online that while some fans leapt at the opportunity to take a selfie with the pop star, Selena’s presence went mostly unnoticed . “You could tell she was hoping to be recognized by someone at the arcade,” the source says. “But not even the worker getting her ice cream knew who she was.” It’s been a tough year for Selena who – in addition to the usual endless tabloid scrutiny of her love life – was forced to publicly cope with a debilitating illness. Selena suffers from lupus  and in October of last year, she revealed that she had been forced to take time off due to chemotherapy treatments. Insiders say the illness prompted Selena to slow down and pay more attention to her overall well-being – mental health included. The rumors about why Selena decided to undergo in-patient treatment are sure to persist, but the pop star seems unperturbed by the rumor mill. In a statement issued before she checked in for treatment, Selena wrote: “I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off.” “Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. “I know I am not alone by sharing this. I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.” Here’s hoping the singer received the help she needed.

Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf: Married! In Vegas! By Elvis!

Shia LaBeouf has reportedly gotten married. In the most Shia LaBeouf way possible. According to TMZ insiders, the actor exchanged vows over the weekend with Mia Goth. In Las Vegas. With Elvis Presley officiating the wedding. The couple got hitched at an establishment called Viva Las Vegas, which a chapel known for uniquely-themed weddings. Some of the options on the venue’s so-called menu, for example, include Elvis and Alice Cooper packages. There are also generic gangster and gladiator themes. Because who would not want to be all gangster, literally, when getting married? But anyway. Back to Shia and Mia: TMZ reports that t hey chose a combination Elvis and Hawaiian theme, Mia even riding to her big day alongside an Elvis impersonator in a pink Cadillac. Sounds about right for a guy who often gets arrested and who once did this: Shia LaBeouf Green Screen Rant: WTH is Happening Here?!? Seriously, did you watch that?  Please stop what you are doing and make sure you click PLAY. Goth and LaBeouf have quite the history together. They got engaged in March, but  LaBeouf was accused of assault against Goth just over a year ago, in July of 2016. The altercation allegedly took place in Germany, with witnesses saying the twosome got into a pretty big argument outside of a hotel. The argument led to a physical confrontation, which left Goth with a black eye. Locals supposedly broke up the fight and drove LaBeouf to the airport, where he went on record as saying he would have killed Goth if he had stayed. There’s even video of the incident: Shia LaBeouf-Mia Goth Fight Caught on Tape: WATCH! This one is less entertaining than the video we shared previously of LaBeouf. But, hey, whatever. The stars appear to have worked it out. The newlyweds started dating in 2012, after working together on the controversial  movie Nymphomaniac.  Aside from the aforementioned kerfluffle, they have remained relatively under the radar for a Hollywood couple. We have no idea where Mia and Shia will go on their honeymoon, but we’re guessing it will be someplace unusual. Congrats to the happy couple, right? Join us in sending them your best wishes.
