Chris O’Dowd tied the knot with English TV presenter Dawn Porter last month. The Irish actor and his bride documented the very happy occasion via Twitter. According to Porter, the wedding “was a three-day love fest. Sure, I have an amazing husband, but I also have the most smashing pals imaginable.” Here’s a cute pic of the newlyweds: O’Dowd, whose Bridesmaids quotes and Girls quotes are memorable, called the day unforgettable, sharing the above image of the duo in matching sweatsuits. “Thanks so much for all yer WedFest well wishes,” the 32-year-old added. “It was magical, start to finish. And hey, who needs a liver? I’ve got a sexy wife.” Congratulations to the happy couple!

An emotional Andy Roddick cried Wednesday as he said goodbye to his fans following his final match, a loss to Juan Martin del Potro at the 2012 U.S. Open. “Wow. For the first time in my career, I’m not sure what to say,” the teary-eyed, always candid 30-year-old former World No. 1 said. “Where do I start?” “Since I was a kid, I’ve been coming to this tournament. I felt lucky just to sit where all of you are sitting today, to watch this game and to see the champions who have come and gone and I’ve loved every minute of it.”

Roberto Martinez: Still in the Hunt For The Bachelor?

Despite reports to the contrary, Roberto Martinez may still be in the running to be the next star of The Bachelor, according to the best source there is. Roberto was being courted by the network several months ago, though no agreement was reached, and he was reportedly dating Kara Ramos at the time. Many thought he was out, especially given the emergence of Sean Lowe and Arie Luyendyk, Jr. But Reality Steve says Roberto is very much in the mix. Steve claims Roberto Martinez , who won The Bachelorette in 2010 but broke up with Ali Fedotowsky earlier this year, is now single and ready to mingle. The network is as interested now as it was this spring. Arie Luyendyk Jr. , for his part, is interested in being the star, but perennial Bachelor spoiler Steve says he doesn’t “chance in hell” of landing the gig: ”Yes, they [ABC execs] have met and interviewed both Sean and Arie, but I still haven’t heard anything solid enough that says it won’t be Roberto.” “This is Roberto’s gig to lose, which is why they were after him hard three months ago. If he got greedy, then I bet they give it to Sean.” Olympic champion Ryan Lochte is also rumored to be interested, though that seems like a long shot at best. The next season is set to begin filming September 15, so look for ABC to announce its star soon, probably during Bachelor Pad . Who do you think should be The Bachelor?

Who would have guessed that Carrie Prejean would be good for something? The hypocritical, attention-loving liar may have lost her crown last year following the emergence of topless photos – but this incident led to enormous PR for the Miss USA Pageant, which has capitalized on that momentum by stripping down its contestants for this month’s promo shots. Hot case in point, Miss Washington Tracy Turnure: Donald Trump, who owns the pageant, went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday and defended the event’s decision to embrace its sexy side. Sort of. “I think they’ve gone maybe a little over the top this year. These pictures are pretty wild,” he said. “But the girls are incredible.” The Donald added that it’s all good because the ratings are high: “We are in a different age. They are a little bit sexy but I’ll tell you what – everybody’s watching, so I have no problems with it. If you look at Miss America, it’s now off network television – and we’re doing better than ever, so I really have no problem with it.” Do you? Has the pageant gone overboard? Or is it a welcome change for its organizers to stop pretending beauty pageants are about anything other than appearances? Ponder those questions and ogle a few more of these scantily-clad contestants now:
