Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright: Married!

Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright went looking for love on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, respectively, only to find it years later with each other. The couple got married Saturday! Peyton and Chris, who got engaged last year, tied the knot at Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston, S.C. The bride wore a gown by Melissa Sweet. Their I-dos provide a happy ending for a courtship that started when a mutual Bachelor friend introduced the pair, who came up short on reality TV. Not that the show didn’t provide them other opportunities – in love and work. The landscaper from Massachusetts and his Dallas-born bride will star in Going Yard , premiering May 12 on HGTV. Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright be traveling the U.S. designing and decorating outdoor living spaces. Among Lambton’s fellow Bachelorette alums invited to the nuptials were Craig Robinson, Tyler Vermette and even Roberto Martinez, whom Ali Fedotowsky got engaged to on the finale of her season, spurning Chris. Let bygones be bygones, right? Congratulations, Chris and Peyton! The Bachelorette Promo: Fall in Love Again!

Emily Maynard, the single mom who captured America’s heart on The Bachelor, is back! She’s The Bachelorette! In a newly-released promo for the new season (premiering Monday, May 14), we get our first look at the Southern Belle’s reality TV return. She may have to kiss a lot of frogs, but she will find her prince charming . Or so we’re told. The hometown dates are still filming and there’s been no proposal made or accepted as of yet. The Bachelorette Promo This season, evidently, will keep us guessing from the opening night. We’re guessing that neither Brad Womack nor Bentley Williams arriving in the chopper, however. The Bachelorette Spoilers 2012: Emily Maynard Men, Final Four Revealed!

Emily Maynard debuts as The Bachelorette May 14, and we’re starting to piece together the coming season of the long-running ABC guilty pleasure. The Bachelorette spoilers revealed thus far show that the men competing from Emily mostly range in age from 25-35, and are Caucasian. Shocker! She’ll meet a teacher, a gym owner, a model, a bunch of of executives, a big-name race car driver (seriously) and a Jef with one “f” (also seriously). Emily Maynard , 25, won Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, but that didn’t work out. She bested Ashley Hebert, the previous Bachelorette star. As he did then, Reality Steve has been digging like a madman for spoilers on the upcoming season for those of us who can’t wait until the summer. What has he found out through his mysterious unnamed sources? Quite a bit, and his track record would suggest it’s more than a little accurate. Come along as we reveal the men who will vie for the North Carolina native’s heart – and the final four who are left standing! Who are the lucky fellas? To mark the occasion, ABC has released the first promotional poster and photo featuring the star. Check out both Emily Maynard pictures below: Unfortunately (and obviously), her relationship with Brad Womack ended, and along with it, the dream of moving on and starting a new family with daughter Ricki. But when one door closes, another opens, and now that she’s the one handing out roles on ABC’s hit show, she’s ready to seek love she richly deserves yet again. Seven Rules For Dating Bachelorette Emily Maynard

Emily Maynard has been confirmed as The Bachelorette , a full six months before the summer premiere and well before filming has even begun on the new season. While ABC has not officially announced that the 26-year-old North Carolinian will star on the show, it’s been reported by People , EW, E! News and numerous others. It’s happening, and the casting was likely leaked early on purpose. That’s because Emily Maynard is a different kind of Bachelorette , and guys had better know what they’re in for. Here’s a little tip sheet for prospective suitors … Ricki, Ricki, Ricki . Maynard and her 6-year-old daughter, are incredibly close. So much show that production is moving to their hometown of Charlotte, N.C. Any fellas coming on The Bachelorette are really wooing two women. The past matters . Maynard lost her fiance, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, at age 19. Days after Ricky’s death, Maynard learned she was pregnant. She named their only child after him, and remains close to his family. The more recent past matters . While it didn’t work out with Brad Womack after The Bachelor , he and Maynard are still close. Womack “taught me that I have it in me to love again,” Emily said. “He’s always going to be a part of my life.” Image matters . As a mother, Emily is not likely to be sexualized or over-the-top in her pursuit of a good time on the show. Guys should act accordingly. Patience is a priority . A beautiful Southern belle, Maynard can find a date any time she wants, but a lasting relationship is a different story. Any potential mate must be prepared that this courtship will be an unconventional one. No douchebags please . Seriously, as offensive as Bentley Williams was on Ashley Hebert’s season, a return by that ass clown would be 10 times worse. Hope you like Charlotte . It’s a vibrant, booming city. After Brad Womack famously selected no one in his first stint as The Bachelor , the Texas bar owner was brought back for a second go-around last winter. He got engaged to Emily Maynard, but that fizzled out before long. Now it’s Emily being sought by ABC to return for another stint on the reality franchise. In fact, the network has already asked her to be The Bachelorette, sources say, and despite her earlier lack of interest, “It’s basically a done deal.” Wow. Another source close to Emily Maynard , the single mom of six-year-old Ricki, tells Life & Style that while “she hasn’t signed the contract yet, she’s fully on board.” Since splitting with Brad in May after becoming engaged to him on The Bachelor season finale, the North Carolina product has been linked to various men. Jeremy Shockey of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and Most Eligible Dallas cast member Matt Nordgren come to mind, though she has denied seriously dating either. Perhaps the allure of being The Bachelorette grew on her. “Emily is America’s sweetheart,” adds the source. “Fans will be thrilled! Everyone loved her.” True. Gotta love The Bachelorette rumor mill. With Emily Maynard and Jeremy Shockey apparently no longer together, and Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl splitting up, Emily and Kasey must be an item, right? Of course, if you believe In Touch Weekly … which proclaims Emily is now dating Vienna’s ex. They could mean a different ex, too, of course. Girlfriend gets around. Whoever it is she’s dating … she’s not. No way she would want Kasey or anyone tied to Vienna guarding and protecting anything. Emily also denied it on Twitter. Just listen to the North Carolina cutie herself: Emily Maynard : “Seriously? You’d think that with all the guys the mags say I’m dating I’d have some help with my Xmas lights! #stillnottrue #stillsingle.” Now that’s hard to believe. Emily can’t get help with her Christmas lights? Do you realize how hot this woman is? What is wrong with the men of Charlotte? We’ve been hearing rumblings that, following her breakup with Brad Womack, her quest for love may continue as the star of The Bachelorette next year. Repeat, that’s just a rumor. Unlike In Touch , we’ll call celebrity gossip what it is and not label it as fact. But we hear they are trying to woo Emily again. The sticking point? Her daughter Ricki. As a single mom, we don’t see it happening, but will they come up with a better catch among Ben Flajnik castoffs? Should Emily be the next Bachelorette?

File this under Couples You Never Saw Coming: Emily Maynard and Jeremy Shockey of The Bachelor and Carolina Panthers, respectively, are totally dating! After announcing her split from her fiance Brad Womack in June, the ABC reality show’s fan favorite has moved on to the four-time Pro Bowl NFL tight end. How the heck did that come about? The only downside we can see? Emily not being The Bachelorette in 2012! “They were set up on a blind date,” by a mutual friend on the Panthers staff, according to Us . Their first date? At BLT Steak in Charlotte’s Ritz-Carlton hotel. Sounds like it went pretty darn well. “They’ve been out five times since,” says a pal of Emily Maynard , the single mother of six-year-old Ricki. “She thinks Jeremy is nice, but she’s just having fun!” That’s a good thing. That stiff Brad Womack really wasn’t much in the way of fun … or genuine emotion. He may or may not have been a cyborg, actually.
