Faith Hill Performs "Come Home" at People’s Choice Awards [Video]

For country music fans, Faith Hill‘s performance of her new song “Come Home” was the highlight of the 2012 People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night on CBS. Granted, Taylor Swift won Favorite Country Artist, and deservedly so, but there’s no doubt Faith helped pave the way for such crossover stars like T-Swift. Last night, Hill returned to the national spotlight for just the third time in recent years, singing the song that she debuted at the CMA Awards in November. With the emotions of the song heavy on her face, Hill immersed herself in the ballad. “Come Home” is the lead single from her upcoming, untitled new album: Faith Hill – Come Home (Live at People’s Choice Awards)

Amy Winehouse ‘Had A Huge Heart,’ Producer Salaam Remi Says

Remi opens up about working with Winehouse on third album, which is not complete. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Kim Kane Amy Winehouse Photo: Roger Kisby/ Getty Images Salaam Remi was already an established producer before he met a then-unknown singer named Amy Winehouse, having already created hits for the likes of Nas, the Fugees and Ini Kamoze (to name just a few). But from the minute he was introduced to Winehouse in 2002, his life — and career — were forever changed. Because not only did he produce the lion’s share of her recorded work (her 2003 debut Frank and the follow up, 2006’s iconic Back to Black ) but he became a close friend with the mercurial Winehouse too, a confidant who knew her better than most. So when Winehouse died on Saturday in her London home, it was somewhat fitting that Remi was nearby: in town to attend the wedding of the singer’s former manager. In fact, he had planned on stopping by Winehouse’s apartment that day to catch up and discuss the ongoing sessions for her Back to Black follow-up , which the two had been working on. MTV celebrates Amy Winehouse’s music with a special show tonight. Days after Winehouse’s death Remi spoke via telephone with New York’s Power 105.1 DJ Kim Kane about the loss of his dear friend and the status of her new album. Kane was kind enough to share their conversation with MTV News. “We were working on it; it’s not a complete album,” Remi said, debunking reports that her third LP was finished and slated for release. “We had a lot of things going, there are recordings, but first things first, I think. We’re trying to focus on what’s at hand and what her family wants to do. So those reports [that there is finished material] are false.” Read more about Amy Winehouse’s influence on music beyond “Rehab.” Remi also told Kane that despite near-constant speculation about Winehouse’s health, he believed that she was well enough to complete her new album and was actually using the ongoing recording sessions as a sort of therapy, channeling her emotions and frustrations into her songs. “To put it all in a nutshell, Amy loved to sing, to write … that ability never left her,” he said. “She was very good at channeling her emotions into lyrics, and then being able to sing them. She was in a place to go forward and make it happen. … The way that Amy and I always created was, she would write and we would toss ideas around.” And though details surrounding Winehouse’s death remain murky, Remi said that he’s trying very hard to block out the near-constant media coverage of her passing and focus instead on the private moments the two shared in the studio. Those moments revealed the artist few ever knew: opinionated, funny and, above all else, caring. “Amy had strong opinions on everything. …. She was very opinionated about what she liked. At the end, she was a real person,” he said. “She had a huge heart. We’d be working for hours and she would have everybody in the room snickering. She always had a joke. You could hear a lot of that in her lyrics, she could be sarcastic and she was extremely witty … but more than anything else she was a real person, an individual artist.” Celebrate Amy Winehouse

Denise Richards to Charlie Sheen: Let Me Help!

Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have had plenty of differences, but compared to the drama between Sheen and Brooke Mueller, the two are downright cozy. That’s why, in the wake of Brooke spiraling so out of control, Denise reached out to Charlie and offered to take informal custody of his twins, Bob and Max. Denise called Charlie right after the shocking story broke late last week that a likely strung out Brooke hit a pawn shop to hawk a watch and a stereo. Sheen’s previous ex-wife wants to help if she can . Denise told Charlie it was apparent Brooke (now back in rehab ) is off the rails and with Charlie on tour, she offered to take the kids until things stabilized. Charlie and Denise also have two young daughters, Sam and Lola. As for Charlie’s reaction? He’s had issues with Denise, like we said, but he didn’t shut her down. He thanked her and told her, “I’ll keep you posted.” Charlie’s lawyer is going to court in an attempt to gain full custody from Brooke, whose mother has also offered to take the kids. Stay tuned …

Demi Lovato: Cutting Herself Since Age 11!

We’ve known Demi Lovato is a “cutter,” but the recent revelation that she began to slit her wrists and mutilate herself at age 11 is startling. Now 18, Demi opened up to 20/20 about her recent stint in a treatment center, where she was treated for cutting, bulimia and emotional issues. Cutting is “a way of expressing my own shame, of myself, on my own body,” according to Demi, who adds she’s been overeating since age eight . Demi Lovato has also experienced – and been shaped by – bullying . “I’ve spoken openly about being bullied throughout the past few years,” she says . “But one thing that I’ve never been able to feel comfortable talking about was the effects that it had on my life, afterward. I didn’t know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, ‘Well, you’re fat.” Her torment turned into a lifelong disease , and one dangerous habit after another. “I developed an eating disorder, and that’s kind of what I’ve been dealing with ever since,” she said. “I was matching the inside to the outside.” “And there were some times where my emotions were just so built up, I didn’t know what to do,” Demi Lovato says of spiraling out of control. “The only way that I could get instant gratification,” she chillingly notes, “was through an immediate release, and taking it out on myself.” During the interview, Lovato also says she takes “100 percent, full responsibility” for attacking her back-up dancer Alex Welch last year: “I feel horrible, [She] was my friend.” Lovato says she hopes her story can “open up the eyes of so many young girls” who are fighting the same issues. We hope it does, too. [Photo: WENN.com]

Patience is the ability to count down before you blast off. ~Author Unknown If you let your emotions lead you while you are angry, you’ll be sure to do something that you may regret. If you act while you’re mad, you’ll do more damage to yourself than the person who angered you. Practice patience…

Gwyneth Paltrow Good Housekeeping 2011

“I felt like a zombie. I couldn#39;t access my heart. I couldn#39;t access my emotions. I couldn#39;t connect,” Gwyneth Paltrow, now 38, says in the February issue of Good Housekeeping. Gwyneth Paltrow had a blissful time during daughter Apple#39;s first few months of life in summer 2004. Two years later, when son Moses was born, things couldn#39;t have been more different. Gwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Postpartum Depression

Gwyneth Paltrow stars in the upcoming movie Country Strong . But after this actress’ second child was born, Paltrow said she reached the lowest, weakest point of her life. “I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect,” Paltrow says in the February issue of Good Housekeeping . Paltrow added that this was the antithesis of what she felt when daughter Apple as born in 2004. “It was terrible, it was the exact opposite of what had happened when Apple was born,” Gwyneth says of welcoming Moses into the world. “With her, I was on cloud nine. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t the same. I just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person.” Husband Chris Martin came to his wife four months after their son was born and was the first to mention the term “postpartum depression.” “I thought postpartum depression meant you were sobbing every single day and incapable of looking after a child,” Paltrow says. “But there are different shades of it and depths of it, which is why I think it’s so important for women to talk about it. It was a trying time. I felt like a failure.” The actress says her dark days are over, however, and she’s loving life as a mother. Let’s hope others suffering from this disease can also recognize it and find ways to move on.

Hot Blonde Chick Waiting for her “DrunkenStepfather” Gets Excited for Me of the Day

Don’t be jealous. You can’t get hot blonde chicks writing your name across their topless stomachs too. All you need to do is launch a website 6 years ago, update it everyday, beg everyone you can for traffic, and promise low level fame in exchange for it…. I am not sure if it is my ego talking, cuz I have pretty low self esteem, thus resulting in no ego, but seeing some hot pussy with my site written on them being is pretty pornographic on some dominance level reminiscent of cumming on a bitch you just met’s face after fucking her without a condom to make sure she remembers you, even though she’s asleep. Or maybe I just like half naked chicks who write on themselves cuz I never had markers as a child, or it could just be that cock teasing whores always fuck with my emotions when they hide their tits and pussy and tell me I can look, but can’t touch cuz I am not worthy….because rejection is all I know… Either way, this was a nice find in my email today, I suggest more of you start sending in shit like this, cuz it is a shortcut to my heart….and penis… Via SOCAL
